who the hell is evan?
Eddie was in a casino, he was a mafia boss, feared by many, no soft spots for anyone..expect Christopher, he was eddies amazing smart son, Eddie loved him a bunch. He was playing poker with his friends, Maddie n chimney, married and have a daughter. Hen and Karen, married, two kids, Denny, oldest, and Mara youngest. Lastly, Bobby and athena, married with two kids as well, May, oldest, and Harry, the youngest.
Eddie placed down a card winning the poker match. “Good game. Let’s all just admit I'm the best poker player ever.” Maddie snorted, taking the cards to shuffle them. “You should see Evan, one time when he got struck by lightning, he was so smart in math it was hard to believe it was even him” Maddie and chimney laughed. Everyone looked at each other, “Who the hell is Evan?” They asked in a union. Maddie raised a brow, “I never told you about him? He’s my brother, he went to me and Chimney's wedding.” Everyone shook their heads. Maddie rolled her eyes. “He’s really strong? Looks like a mix between a puppy and spiderman but blond?” A chorus of ‘Oh’s went around but Eddie was still confused. “Who?? I still don’t know who this Evan guy is.” Maddie shook her head and pulled out her phone after giving out the cards to the rest. She gave her phone to Eddie who looked at the picture of Evan. “You know I think I would like Evan, he's smart, funny, kind, also really clingy” Maddie laughed. Eddie looked up and gave the phone back. “No offence Maddie, your brother looks very good and sounds nice but im not gay, im straight.” Silence filled the room. “WHAT.” Was yelled after a few seconds.
Eddie looked confused, “Did everyone seriously think i was gay?? I was married to shannon! Ive had girlfriends and you thought I was gay??” Awkward laughs were made. “We all thought you were since all your relationships ended badly, plus i had a gaydar” Hen admitted, everyone nodded. Eddie rolled his eyes, “just to be clear now , i am NOT gay.” Eddie glared. “How about this, if i win, you have to go on a date with my brother but before that please take the ‘am i gay’ quiz. And if you win, i wont talk about you having to go out with my brother. Deal?” Eddie groaned. “You know what? This will feed my ego, sure, you have a deal.” Maddie smirked mischievously.
The real game started, everyone was losing and soon quit the game, except for Eddie and Maddie. Eddie placed down a king, “ah ha.. Now i win.” Eddie smirked. Maddie looked at hger cards, a smirk forming on her face. “Diaz.. diaz.. Diaz.. you never learn do you?” Maddie slammed an ace on the table, Eddie's jaw dropping to the floor. “I would feel bad for you diaz but I don't. Now everyone give me their pay and Eddie, have fun on your date tomorrow! Take the am i gay quiz” Maddie smiled innocently.
Everyone went home but Maddie gave Eddie Evans number then left. Eddie sighed and went home.
Once he reached home, Eddie went to his room but not before giving Christopher a kiss to his head, the kid fast asleep with his stuffies. Eddie flopped onto his bed when he got to his room, going on his phone, scrolling through his emails like a boring man. His mind went to evan, he wonders if he should even text Evan, it was late at night and he was most likely asleep. Eddie shrugged it off and took the laptop from the bedside table, searching the website for the ‘am i gay?’ quiz. He's thought about guys before.. He's had sex with a guy but he never considered himself gay.. Then again all his relationships with women weren't really good, a lot of people dont have good relationships so why must eddies be any different?
Eddie spent a long time trying out different quizzes, getting high results but not hundred percent, he quickly closed his laptop, this changed his whole life. Millions of questions popped into his head. Am i actually gay? Am i overthinking? What if this evan guy is actually really hot. How big is his- eddie stopped himself from going there. He looked at his phone again and opened messages, he stared at evans contact before pressing it.
