Meeting a gorgeous and scary woman?
It was a sunny afternoon in Tokyo; Emu was with her family at the beach. The sun was beginning to set when she noticed a shadow in the water. With her trained swimming skills, Emu took a deep breath and dove into the depths of the ocean.
She managed to get a glimpse of the creature; a deep shadow of purple blurred her vision for a moment. The creature was fast as the wind; not even she, with her proficient swimming skills, was able to even catch another glimpse of it.
“Whoa! So fast!” she thought excitedly.
Emu stopped for a moment. “Where am I?” she thought once again. She couldn't have gotten lost, right? Underwater too! She had to find a way back immediately.
Slowly she started running out of oxygen, she could hear an imaginary clock.
Tick, tack, tick, tack. She was starting to feel her throat close more by every second, while her heartbeat quickened.
Emu started to feel numb as her eyelids started to feel heavier, making her fall deep into the abyss.
Mafuyu POV:
Silence. There was only silence in this rocky area under the sea; not many sea creatures came around here, not at all, as there wasn't any food nearby anyway. But that human, such a fearless and amusing one, perhaps I shouldn't kill this one… It will be fun to have some entertainment anyway.
Various hours later, the young girl's small eyes start to flutter open as she's blinded by the bright morning sun. She was currently laying on a rocky surface, on what seemed like a small island.
Emu whined a little while, she started to stand up, to process better where she was.
“Oh! That's right, I was following something… someone?” She quickly remembered all those past events.
“Did they bring me here?” assumed Emu, taking some steps near the edge of the small island. “I hope they didn't run away… I really wanted to see them…”
She was just about to go into the sea again, but she recalled something her sister said once. “Remember to take breaks, Emu! You can't go that far into the sea if you're tired!! What if something happens to you??” explained Hinata, very worried. “I know, I know it won't happen again!” In an attempt of making her smile, Emu shouted, “WONDERHOY!!” Hinata chuckled, “you really know how to make people smile, huh?”
“Mmmm… I wonder if that Human is already awake…” she wondered, but quickly retracted her words, she sighed “what am I doing worrying about a human… I've really lost it, huh?” While her scales gleamed beneath the daylight, she went onto the surface.
The creature's head slightly peeked out of the waters of the salty sea, and Emu noticed her immediately. “Woah! You're the creature!” she exclaimed as a slight blush peeked through her cheeks. “You're very pretty, eh…!” The creature was amused by her boldness, but she quickly answered after a few seconds. “Just call me whatever, human… I don't really care.”
“But you have to have a name!!” she paused “-and My name is Emu, not human…” she muttered.
The Creature slightly chuckled. “Smile? Really?” She looked at her once again. “Mmm… I guess it really does fit you, huh?”.
Emu’s eyes lightened, “Ha! I made you laugh! And for real this time!” The creature slightly tilted her head as she grinned, “… What do you mean?”
“Ah-!” Emu slightly jumped at seeing her scary grin, “N-nothing!!…”
