Angel with a Shotgun
Frisk didn’t even hesitate. They turned to Sans and said “Send me.” Sans however did. Mostly because as Sans went to grab their arm Toriel hauled him away from Frisk before he could teleport them.
“Sans there is no need to send the child, we don’t even know what the problem is it could be dangerous.” Toriel scolded the skeleton who groaned.
“Listen, Toriel. The kid can take care of themselves, and they will find another way to go without me sending them there, so would you prefer that I go with them or if they run off by themselves?” They started to argue between themselves like they were parents arguing over the best way to raise a child and Frisk was having none of that.
“Enough!” Toriel and Sans paused, while Dumbledore and some of the staff made their way to the group. In a rush before the wizards could probably talk their way into the situation that did not involve them Frisk turned to Flowey. “Flowey what’s the issue?”
“There are wizards attacking the village.” Everyone froze, and Frisk felt something in them crack. Not again. Please Not again.
Frisk has know since their first go at life that humans were these horrid creatures. They were selfish, cruel, they hated things that were different and went out of their way to cull it too. They also loved power, and if they could find something with power, that would make them stronger, or make their military stronger, then they would do whatever they could to take it for themselves. One of the reason’s that Frisk - once they got everyone out of the Underground for good - went out of their way to avoid humans was because they were afraid they would find out about Determination, and the resets, and saves and stuff. They were a kid with a godly ability and they didn’t want the adults to find out for fear of what they would do to them. They constantly worried about the Monsters though because of all of the things that they thought about humans. Monsters were powerful, different, they challenged the status quo, and they weren’t under control of humans so that made them dangerous.
Frisk had hoped that the magical community would take kinder acceptance to them, most do protect magical creatures after all. Wizards are in charge of the protection of Magical Creatures. It was one of the reasons they were given their powers. So that magic would not have to die out because it had protectors now.
So it hurts to find out that they were doing the same things, ‘but’ Frisk things despairingly, ‘they were only human.’
“You have to hurry Frisk, some of the wizards down in town have made a barrier, but I don’t think it’ll last long.” Frisk’s eyes widened and they knelt down to Flowey.
“Flowey this is important, what were the wizards attacking wearing?” Flowey paused and seemed to think about it.
“They came from two sides, one group was wearing red and the other was in all black.” Frisk froze. Aurors and Death Eaters. It seemed like the Ministry hadn’t learned their lesson, and that Voldemort needed to be taught a new one. Frisk thrusted their hand at Sans and glared at Toriel and Dumbledore’s directions. They would not be stopping them.
“Sans. Send. Me.” They growled. Sans stared at Frisk for a moment, but complied. He touched their arm gently and suddenly they were on the hill leading to Hogsmead. Nice of Sans to give them a running start though, some time to thing of a plan. With a grin Frisk took off down the hill, hearing feet touch the ground behind them as they ran, and ignoring the shouts of Toriel to wait.
Frisk had always been abnormally fast. It probably came from being around monsters for so long. Or maybe it was just from being around Sans because he also moved at alarming speeds. So it did not take long for Frisk to see that Flowey had been correct and the ward that the wizards of Hogsmead put up would not last long again two different kinds of assault. They had to go about this logically, or else they would be fighting a war on two fronts and they didn’t know if the monsters’ were hurt and who could fight, if need be. Although they wouldn’t be making the monster’s fight at all, for the most part some of them had become pacifists and it seemed wrong making them fight, even if it was for their own survival.
Frisk was supposed to be their protector after all. The Ministry side probably brought in Unspeakables, they would be able to take down the wards faster if left to their own devices, so it seemed like Frisk was going to kick the Ministry’s ass first. Still, as they got closer and looked at the groups that were attacking the ward, it seemed like there was more people than they could handle alone.
They also had to figure out how to take care of the problem. They couldn’t just knock them out, because the other people could just revive the fallen, and it wouldn’t really send the message not to fuck with Frisk. So Frisk came to a decision, they would have to level up their LV. That wouldn’t really stop the amount of people that they would have to fight being difficult even for Frisk and Chara, but what if…
Frisk was getting closer now, and they were almost out of time to plan so they just had to go with what they had come up with. That and the group behind them was gaining ground, and that was not good. So instead they leaped up and landed on top of the ward that separated the Monsters from their attackers. They looked down at the people below them, taking note of who was putting up the wards, and who was working to fix the holes that were being blown into them. They also took note of the Monsters and saw that they looked injured and haggard, but like they would live if they had to fight with enough time to catch their breath. It made Frisk wonder how long it took Flowey to get away.
For Frisk’s plan to work, they needed to stop being able to get to the ward. So they took a lesson out of Sans book, and trapped them. They formed a boss fighting arena around the group. Their souls didn’t show, which was what they expected as Frisk wasn’t a Monster, but this worked just as well. They watched as the wizards spells were absorbed by the practically invisible barrier or their boss arena and look confused.
“Chara,” they whispered, “get ready.” Then Frisk pulled out Chara’s knife and launched themselves at the nearest Unspeakable or Ward Breaker that was surrounded by Aurors. The wizard barely had time to flinch before Frisk was slitting their throat and tearing their soul from their body. Frisk threw the soul behind them and far away from the other wizards. It was blue. Then they launched themselves at the next wizard performing the same maneuver and tearing his soul from his body as well. Green.
It was after the third soul, this one being purple, that was torn from their comrades body that the ministry team realized what was going on and started actively attacking Frisk. So they had to go on defence. Just the same they were looking for something anyways. So as they were running around and dodging the spells that were getting too close for comfort and looking too lethal for Frisk did they spot what they were looking for.
They turned on their heals and started making their way to the back of the ministry pack. The wizards had no way to change strategies as the threat was no longer avoiding them, but instead coming right at them, so some of those lethal spells ended up hitting the Aurors and Unspeakables around Frisk. Frisk was happy to take the souls from the friendly fire anyways with a grin. By the time they switched back to non lethal, Frisk was halfway to their goal anyways.
“Flowey!” Frisk yelled as they had finally reached the Auror with the glowing red soul brimming with Determination. The Auror startled seeing them approach and seemed hesitant to fight them. Either they had a soft spot for kids, they knew of the Malfoy’, or they saw what Frisk did at the Ministry and man did they hope it was the later. With a flick of their wrist the knife in their hand was send flying into the chest of Auror and Frisk followed it driving the knife deeper as they reached into the Auror’s chest and ripped out the red soul. “CATCH!” Then they sent the soul flying towards where the pile of the other ones had been. Where Flower currently was having gobbled the other souls.
There was a theory that since it took all of the Monster’s souls to create Asriel in the Underground and six human souls to make OMEGA FLOWEY that it would take more human souls to get him back in his true form. As they were clearly not strong enough on their own. Frisk has another theory to rival that of their siblings. They knew that Flowey came to be because he was injected with Determination, but Determination while powerful and found in most humans, could not really be handled by the other souls, part of the reason that Flowey became uncontrollable in OMEGA FLOWEY form, the Determination had no where to go. Because Monsters don’t naturally possess determination, Flowey was able to spread his Determination throughout the souls of the Monsters that he did collect, and because he was a being of Determination, he wouldn’t have to worry about melting like the others, like Undyne.
So Frisk believed, that Flowey really only needed enough souls to power himself up again, and another Determination centric soul to balance him out so that he could become Asriel and maintain full control of himself. Frisk was happy to say that as Flowey started to morph and change into the young but powerful true version of himself that they were right. All he needed was Determination. Frisk moved to run to him, maybe to hug him or to throw him into the fray with them, when something else caught her eye. There on the outside of the arena was another glowing red soul. A soul in a body wearing black and a mask.
“Hey Chara? How would you feel about coming back to life?”
“Well, Frisk. I would enjoy having my own body again, even if I couldn’t annoy you anymore in exchange.”
“Good.” Then Frisk canceled the arena with the Ministry team and launched themselves at the Death Eaters. Asriel seeing Frisk doing this, launched himself towards the Ministry to take their place while they worked on the other team. When Frisk got close enough to the Death Eater they ejected Chara from their body, and Chara once again became a spirit untouchable to the world. It felt weird being without Chara for the first time in forever. They were normally chained at the soul, but Frisk knew this weird empty feeling was something that they would have to get used to if they succeeded in bringing Chara back to life, plus it would be worth it in the end. Chara’s appearance gave Frisk just enough distraction to kill the Death Eater and steal their soul to send to Chara. Then they retreated to regroup with Chara calling for Asriel to join them. Frisk dropped Chara’s knife at the ghost’s feet and drew out their want. The feeling of wood felt better in their hand than a knife, but that was always the case.
Together with Asriel they formed a shield around Chara as they absorbed the soul and their incorporeal form became more solid. Frisk with their wand and Asriel with his daggers were able to block and deflect incoming spells. With the Ministry staying non-lethal, Frisk took over on that front, and the Death Eaters just straight up sending Killing Curses, Asriel took those. He was a god after all. Even if he wasn’t currently glowing rainbows.
“Alright kiddos.” Chara pushed Frisk and Asriel apart as he stepped in front of them. “It’s big brother’s time to fight.” Then with a killer grin Chara attacked the nearest person with vicious glee and wild abandon, jumping from person to person and just killing.
Frisk and Asriel shared a look and then turned to join him. Yeah they would probably have to stop Chara from murdering so many people in the future.
