Chapter 5
Luna, Daphne, Lightscale, and Speedwing were on the train home at the end of term. Luna and Daphn3 talking to each other about their summer plans, while Lightscale and Speedwing were practicing the abilities the Potion gave them.
Both were changing size between small enough both could fit in the palm of Luna's hand, and as big as a Hungarian Horntail, all while keeping their body proportions, and flight abilities. Lightscale could also control water, and Speedwing could control lightning. Both discovered when they woke up a few hours after the basilisk died, and sneezed, which caused them to both grow to their max size, and sneeze out their elements. Luckily they were in the Room of Requirements at the time, and it was able to expand the room fast enough that not only did they still fit, but their sneezes missed Luna and Daphne who was watching, them.
Before leaving they even learned how to let others ride them(while getting special saddles made by the room that is comfy enough to sleep in, fits perfectly, and automatically changes size with them, from max size to smallest) and take others between with them. On top of that they were close to being able to talk to Luna telepathically, but weren’t quite there yet.
Upon reaching the station, Luna hid the two in their smallest form under her hair, so they couldn’t be seen, before hugging Daphne goodbye, and meeting up with her dad, who after checking to make sure both Lightscale and Speedwing were female, took them back to the Rookery.
