Avengers assemble
It was now my responsibility to create a cure so my family could come home but it was nowhere near an easy job and many obstacles blocked my path. First was that no one wanted me to bring the original family back, so I had to go into hiding. I got a little house in the middle of nowhere where Mary and the triplets stayed while I went out searching. Secondly not all the werewolf packs were as active anymore, some were even so endangered that they were on the brink of extinction, non more so than the Malraux and BasRoq packs.
I started by looking for the BasRoq pack but I wasn’t having any luck, but I caught wind of a scientist with BasRoq venom in his lab and knew that was my best chance of getting it, so I went after it. The thing is that rumours never seem to come with names so when I got to the lab I was shocked to find out the scientist they spoke about was the infamous Bruce Banner aka The Hulk.
I went in all guns blazing , not literally, expecting a fight but it turns out he was more afraid of me so much so he called in reinforcements and not 5 minutes later in comes genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, Tony Stark. I was now standing off against two avengers and before anymore came busting through the door I calmed down and said my peace. I had to explain why I needed the venom they had, why I was concerned as to how they procured the venom and worried if they had harmed the werewolf it had came from. After me explaining everything about how I just wanted to save my family I think they sympathised with me and we came to an agreement.
Tony explained how it was actually his father Howard who originally possessed the venom and how they had no involvement in procuring it, which reassured me slightly. They explained that Howard tried to use it to recreate the super soldier serum but was unsuccessful, so eventually they agreed to give it to me under one condition that I went and worked for Tony, I think he was curious about me, who wouldn’t?
I showed them the extent of my powers, as they were curious, and explained to them about how I was a mutant and by the end of it they only had one question. What was my name? I couldn’t tell them my real name because people were looking for me so eventually they just started calling me Accalia, it’s Latin for she wolf, so it’s quite fitting. Accalia later became my alias because not long after starting work at Stark Industries Tony invited me to join the avengers. Now, at the time it wasn’t as big a group as you know it now but it became family and slowly that family grew into some of my most trusted friends.
However it also turns out that the supernatural community weren’t the only ones looking for me. One day while I was at work a man named August found me and wanted to talk. At first I didn’t think anything of it but then he started talking about a magical kingdom that had came to this world and how my mother is basically their queen. To be honest I was about to phone the police but then he showed me a lock of my hair and the locator spell he used to find me, so I let him explain and the more he explained the more it made sense but in the end all it proved was what I had dreaded my whole life, that my mother abandoned me. I was her secret love child she told no one about, that she even feared me and feared the powers I possessed, but what shocked me the most was that I had a fraternal twin sister who she adored and that was just like adding salt to the wound. I was the final piece to his puzzle so he then left, but all he left me with was more unanswered questions and a resounding want for vengeance.
But that wasn’t all that happened, I had also started to notice these green flashes of light around Stark tower. At first I just ignored them but they started happening more and more frequently especially when Thor was around, but it wasn’t long before I recognised them for what they really were, portal openings. So I started snooping around in the usual places I would see the flashes of light until I caught him. Loki. I confronted him, I had to, and I let him explain himself. Everyone thought he was dead, especially Thor, after the amount of times I’ve had to hear about Loki dying in his arms he was unmistakable. But after letting him explain himself, about how he was just checking up on Thor and how he meant no harm, I agreed to keep his secret and we kind of formed an alliance. We both benefited from the other, I kept his secret and in return he gave me information that helped me impress the avengers, so much so that they started taking me on missions to destroy hydra bases and that’s when I met one of the most important people in my life.
