Never Steal From Gensōkyō
Never Steal From Gensōkyō
Harry smiles softly as he was playing Tetris on a Gameboy handheld that he found in Rinnosuke's shop a week ago. His room was comfortable with the comforts of a modern Japanese bed room. A nice comfortable mattress and comforters in one corner of the room, two dressers, a wardrobe closet behind a sliding panel door, and the floor was comfortable and made of tatami panels. In the center of the room was a kotatsu. It was plugged in and operating on electricity that came from a source known only to the woman who owns the house. And the door to the outside was closed to keep out today's rainy weather plaguing Gensōkyō. There are a few framed photos decorating the walls of his room. One of them depicted the painted portrait of the woman who cares for him.
He hears a knock on his bedroom door.
"Come in."
The door slides open and in steps the woman depicted in the painted portrait.
"Harry, how are you doing today? You didn't show up all morning."
The fourteen year old smiles.
"It's a bit gloomy outside today with all of this rain. Didn't feel like leaving my room, Yukari."
Yukari Yakumo. She was in fact a yokai. She has the power to manipulate boundaries, or gaps.
"Well, why don't you come with me to the Outside? I feel like going shopping. It would do you some good to get out for a bit."
Harry hums softly, before he flips the switch on the handheld, turning the device off to conserve battery life.
"I guess. It's been awhile since I've seen the Outside World."
Yukari smiles happily.
"Good. Get freshened up a bit and I'll wait in the living room."
With a hug to her favorite human child, Yukari would step out of the room through a gap. Fifteen minutes would pass by before Harry would be freshly showered and in fresh new clothes consisting of blue jeans, red high top sneakers, a white t-shirt with the words T-シャツ on the front and a green unzipped vest. Yukari, dressed in comfortable jeans of her own, sneakers, a pink t-shirt with a white cardigan over top, grabs the keys to the car that she owns in the garage. After buckling in and turning the ignition, she puts the car into gear and drives straight through a gap. The gap would lead to an exit of a dirt road through a forest, leading quickly to a paved street in which she would turn left and start driving towards Shimada.
It was a fun outing for the yokai woman and her human child. Japan in the Outside was also experiencing rainy weather, but being able to get outside was a good call on Yukari for Harry. She saw how much he liked being in the Outside and being a normal teenage boy. Not to mention he was very smart for his age, and also had a huge well of magical power within his body. Though that only came to be once that dark malignant shard of some fracture dark soul was extracted from the boy's very being and cast down to Hell with assistance from Eiki Shiki, Yamaxanadu (though both women still do not have a good rapport with each other due to their differences; Yukari loving chaos and Eiki being a Yama and thus a judge of the dead and also being preachy).
Harry doesn't really ask Yukari where and how she has the money to buy everything they're getting.
Then again, a few new Gameboy titles made him happy to own.
After going to a few stores and then grocery shopping, Yukari was driving them back to the forest where she could open the gap back to Gensōkyō when suddenly Harry groaned, clutching the arm of the seat tightly. Yukari felt Harry's magic fluctuate wildly. With her eyes, she could see a thread of magic piercing through him, trying to tether to him, but Harry was actively fighting off whatever this phenomenon was causing.
"Yu-Yukari! Somethings wrong... some... outside mana... f-fuck!"
Yukari pulled to the side of the road and puts the gear into park, before grabbing hold of her human magician child.
"Harry!"
Harry grunted, breaking into a heavy sweat as whatever force was attacking him was malicious in trying to force its possession onto his life. But Harry eventually failed to keep fighting and a flash of light erupts in the car before vanishing. Harry was slump, panting, exhausted.
"Something... contract... force.... it forced a nasty connection to my mana... it won't let go now."
Yukari puts the car back into drive and speeds off, quickly opening a gap and driving through, soon exiting back into Gensōkyō, only now it was on the paved stone path leading up to the front gates of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. Meiling Hong, the Gate Guardian, leaped out of the way as Yukari brakes hard, just touching the gates with the front bumper. Shifting gear into park and cutting ignition, Yukari unbuckles her seat belt then Harry's, pulling him out of the car. Meiling, seeing the rather panicked look on the gap yokai (and was that such a rare sight to see) immediately knew something was wrong. She quickly followed after Yukari through the gap entering Patchiuli Knowledge's library.
"Some outside mana force has parasitically attached itself to Harry," is all Yukari told a startled Patchouli and Koakuma, setting the unconscious human child down on the nearby table that was mostly clear of papers and books.
Patchouli went to work right away to see what was the problem.
Meanwhile, in the Outside World, in a location somewhere in Scotland, a beautiful magical castle was up in arms when the Goblet of Fire had produced a fourth Tri-Wizard Tournament participant, under the name of the missing Boy-Who-Lived, Harry Potter.
