Dumble's Punishment
As soon as Fleur's mom had heard what had been done to her youngest daughter she turned to Dumbledore. She glared at the man who had not only kidnapped her ten-year-old daughter but put Gabriella in a place that was as close to the girl's biggest fear as one could get. Unlike her oldest, Madam Delacour did not slip into her Veela form and join in tossing fireballs at the old fool, no she stayed perfectly, if deadly, calm as she took in the man and brought the power of her job, Frances Mistress of Magic, down on the man. Watching not only her but Igor Krum the Bulgarian representative in the ICW lay into the man using all the political clout they could Harry could only smile as he pulled a large bowl of popcorn out of his still dry clothing and began to snack on it.
Seeing that the way he had brought the Champions and Dumbledor's chosen "hostages" out of the lake had distracted everyone so that no one had come to either dry or give any form of health potion to the other Champions Harry cast a heating charm on them to dry their clothing. As Fleur and Viktor looked over and gave him a nod of thanks Harry offer some of his popcorn to them. Marcus soon noticed as well leading to all four Champions, and the people they had sent to rescue, sitting down a little bit away snacking on popcorn as they watched the show. "Were you to made aware of what was going to happen?" Harry asked Ronald and Lee Jordan.
"Negative," Ronald said unconsciously slipping into an imitation of his older brother as he pushed non-existing glasses up his nose.
"We just were called up to Professor McGonagall's office for a meeting. At least for me as soon as I opened the door they did something to me for I recall walking through the door only to wake up in that air bubble," Lee Jordan said leaning into Marcus's body as the Sixth Year Slytherin wrapped an arm protectively around him.
"That was my experience as well," Ronald said.
As it sounded like Dumbles had not gotten the permission to use either male as what a Champion was to find in the lake Harry got a little annoyed. "Do you mind?" Harry asked handing the bowl of popcorn over to Gabriella.
"Mind what?" both Lee Jordan and Ronald asked.
"Well, I was able to bring Fleur and Viktor's parents here due to knowing their Magical Signature but as I have never met either of your parents if I was to summon them to this place I would need to read your magic to do so," Harry explained.
"How?" Ronald asked as usual his thirst for knowledge of the strange magic Harry was able to produce distracting him from the show of his Headmaster getting told off as if he was a toddler who had been throwing a tantrum.
"In a way similar to when I read Hermione's aura when I looked for her closest Magical relative I would place a hand on you to read your signature using it to locate your parents before I brought them in.
"Fascinating," Ronald said pushing up the non-existing glasses again, "go right ahead."
With a small smile, Harry placed his left hand on the top of Ron's mane of red hair and began to read the boy's Magical Signature before looking through England for signatures that were close enough be his family. Studying the signatures that he had found Harry narrowed down the selection of them by age until he located the most likely candidates for Ronald's parents from what he had learned about the redheaded boy that term. Without removing his hand from Ronald's head Harry summoned the pair of Magicals sending out a messenger Patronus to explain about the Portal he was used to Summoning them to Hogwarts. Before he removed his hand after summoning Ronald's parents, Harry created a pair of stylish yet lens-less glasses so the redhead had something to push up his nose.
As Ronald went over to discuss with his parents the full reason they had been summoned Harry turned to Lee Jordan who after a moment of thought agreed to have his dad come to Hogwarts as well since his mother was a Muggle and would never be allowed at the castle. Harry scoffed at the idea, recalling some magical schools he had traveled to in this realm that allowed teachers or older students to bring Muggle relatives or dates to the schools during family days. With this in mind as well as the fact that he was the Heir of several of the Hogwarts Founders, Harry brought both of Lee Jordan's parents to the Shore. Placing a Charm on Mrs. Jordan so that she was neither repelled by any anti-Muggle charms on the castle but also able to see it as it was rather than the decrepit ruins of itself.
While Mrs. Jordan took in her surroundings with wonder in her eyes Mrs. Weasley had joined in on telling off Dumbledore. The small plump redheaded woman had easily pushed aside both Fleur and Viktor's parents as she screamed at the old bastard for putting her baby in danger. Ronald looked a little embarrassed as his mother by using nothing more than her normal voice was so loud that her voice was even louder than Ludo's Magical Magnified voice he had used as the announcer for the Tournament. Harry was half tempted to join in with the parents that were laying into the man to see if the effects of his restraining order would make it that Dumbles could not speak since it had nothing to do with any of Harry's classes as a student. Smiling at the idea Harry easily lept to his feet to head over just as he sees Dumbles pull out his wand from his pocket. Even if the man had just planned to use it to muffle Mrs. Weasley's voice Harry stopped for this was the first time he had taken a good look at the man's wand. Other times he had seen it he had been preventing it from being used on him. Seeing it now Harry recognized the Magical Signature on it from its creation was aligned to his own family. In fact, he was easily able to determine that like his own wand Dumble's stolen one had a core that was from the hair of one of his relatives.
Unknown to Harry, as he worked out the wand Dumbles used was connected to his family Lady Magic was rather surprised recognizing the wand as well. It was made by one of her allies, Death, which explained why Harry had been considered one of Death's Chosen since he was her vessel's ancestor. As it was all Harry's idea and not an urging from her, Lady Magic did not interfere as Harry for once accessing his Magic without even a visible sign or movement caused the wand to vanish from Dumble's hand and return to one of his vaults. Dumbles blinked in astonishment as the wand vanished while Mrs. Weasley's voice got even louder for Harry had taken the man's wand when the old bastard had been pointing it at the woman's face. I took all the other parents, and the two other School Heads, working together to pull the small woman away who was now yelling at Dumbles for not only putting her son in danger but also trying to cast a spell on her.
As none of the Hogwarts staff was trying to usher the students to go back to class, letting everyone watch what was happening at the judges' table, Harry smirked as he began to dip into his large food stores and Magic snacks or the watching crowds to eat as they took in the show. Most of the Hogwarts students did not question their appearance as they began to eat the popcorn, Chex mix, and candies. The students from the visiting school understood what had happened turning away from Dumbles to give him small nods of thanks.
It took nearly three hours until the group of parents, Madam Maxine, and Headmaster Karkoroff to stop laying into Dumbledor. The whole time was watched by students and staff as no one left for any reason, other to use the bathroom, as the idea of starting classes for the day was out of everyone's minds. When everyone left for a late and small lunch Harry had to send an order for food to be purchased since he had kept up with providing snacks for everyone, including drinks for the parents and the Heads so they did not get dehydrated as they dealt with Dumbles.
It was not until the next day before the full extent of the measures against the man was seen. Using their positions in their perspective governments there was now a group of observers not only from the three nations Ministries but from the ICW as well to keep tabs on everything that was happening at the castle for the remainder of the tournament. Mrs. Weasley, who it turned out was a parent member of the Hogwarts Board of Governors, had spoken to her fellow members and they had placed Dumbles on probation. And since it was customary for when Hogwarts hosted the Triwizard that their Final Task was a labyrinth created somewhere on the grounds the Hogwarts Wards were returned to full strength to prevent anything from being brought in to stock the labyrinth.
Voldemort had breathed a small sigh of relief thinking that the returned Wards would lead to him being found but as the school year had already begun and most chances of something being brought into the castle and grounds. So its focus had been tuned to look for stuff trying to get into the castle rather than looking at what was at present inside of it at least until anything that would set it off tried to leave the Wards. While this in effect trapped Voldemort in the castle he had no other place to be at the moment until he killed Harry Potter. Afterward, he would focus on getting out of the castle and collecting the last Horcrux letting him resume his body and take over the Magical World.
One of the first things the group of observers did when they arrived at the castle was to interview not the students who had been taken to be hostages under the lake, rather they talked to Harry, Draco, Blaise, Theo, and a boy named Neville Longbottom asking them why the group had Magical Restraining Orders set up against Professor Snape. As the group shared memories, or in Harry's case let them see the event through a spell to show the past, the observers saw the Potion Master mentally, emotionally, and in some cases physically abuse his students. That coupled with the abysmal grades that most students had in Potions, apart from a few outliers, and a memory from Draco that showed the man had the Dark Mark on his arm led the man being fired and blackballed from teaching anywhere in the world. As he was dragged out Snape tried to throw Headmaster Karkoroff under the bus crying out that the man had been marked as well. Headmaster Karkoroff did not protest when he was approached so the observers could check him out, even rolling up his sleeve for them to reveal two bare arms. As the group cast spells to make sure the Dark Mark was not under a Glamor the man shot a wink at Harry who as a way to prove he had the necessary skill and level of magic to take classes at Durmstrange had abolished the mark from the man's flesh and broke the Compulsions the man had been under to be somewhat loyal to the Death Eaters and Voldemort.
It turned out that Mrs. Weasley held a Master in Potions letting her take over the class as well as be an observer at the school. As Harry was used to how bad the current teachers, apart from Charms Master Flitwick were at the school Harry decided to see how well Ronald's mother did teaching Potions. While her voice was a little loud and echoed off the walls of the Potions classroom, Harry thought she did pretty well leading the class step by step through the brewing of the potion they were working on, a Dreamless Sleep Potion. As Harry left the classroom he heard nothing but praise for the woman as the students commented on the fact that none of them could remember a class when an accident did not happen under Snape.
