Light was in the middle of a differential proof for Euler's formula when the sobbing stopped. He stopped waving his arms around and waited for footsteps approaching him. It didn't take long.
The woman loomed near him, staring down with wet eyes, her cheeks blotchy from all the tear stains. Light stared up at her, annoyed. He didn't know how long this blonde cried out her heart and he didn't really care, but he was a baby who hadn't eaten since last night! Children need to be fed more frequently than that. Even Light knew that!
As his temporary caretaker, Light demanded this woman feed him!
Or well, he would. If he could speak.
