Light Yagami/Harry Potter
Light's basket- why a basket, of all things? Couldn't they use a carrier?- was placed on a table and the woman who brought him inside picked up a letter from it. Where had that come from? Light was lying inside the basket himself and never even felt or saw that!
Could it be because he was inside the body of an infant? So his perception was dulled to be same as that of a child?
Light kept his eyes on the woman as she read whatever was written, trying to hide his rising sense of dread.
The woman's eyes widened. Shock. Jaw clenched and spit swallowed. Suppressed grief. Brows loosened as she reached the end of the letter. Vindication.
She was shocked by whatever had happened. It was something sad for her personally. But by the end, she was vindicated by the choices she had made and whatever had happened only proved her her point. Probably, the circumstances behind Light's arrival at this household were shocking to this woman personally, but it made her feel she had made a right choice.
Thus, whatever other effect his infant's body has on his mind, it had not much affected his ability to read micro-expressions.
Good. This was good.
