Light Yagami/Harry Potter

Light knew this was the end for him. Lying there on a dusty, old staircase, staring at Ryuk fulfilling their contract, hallucinating about L staring at him with that blasted smile on his face and heart beating erratically in his chest. It was more painful than he had thought. 

 

"It has been fun, Raito," Ryuk said, looking straight into his eyes. Light knew that look. That look, similar to when Ryuk was watching the end credits of a favorite video game or TV series. So that was what his life amounted to.

 

The God of the New World closed his eyes.
