Chapter 1
It was late at night as two turtles walked down the tunnels taking the long way home. Their heads close together, giggling, or at least the younger one was giggling the other was smiling indulgently. The younger one wore an orange mask, his short tails bouncing from his slight skip steps as he chattered to his brother, holding his brother's hand. The purple banded turtle shook his head, his longer tails brushing his shoulders, he looked adoringly down at his little brother.
They both stopped and looked around when they heard fighting up ahead. They locked eyes nodded and took off in the direction the sounds was coming from. They stopped in the entrance of a large channel. Then in front of them was a large crocodile mutant surrounded by kraang droids they weren't to familiar with them. They were more concerned with the Shredder.
The orange banded turtle flinched when the croc roared. When he looked up again he saw across the channel, two other mutant turtles were standing there. The blue banded turtle looked shocked, but at what was unknown. The red banded turtle was glaring at the bots.
The purple banded turtle took out his ningata and the orange masked turtle brought out his kurisgamia chain. Their eyes changing from their bright blue, and dark red-brown color, to a pure white they jumped into the fray of bots and croc. They beat down the droids, taking notice that the other turtles had joined in as well.
After the fight, the croc having been electrocuted to unconsciousness, laying prone on the floor, chuffing deep in his chest. The four turtles stood opposite of each other. The orange, and purple banded turtles stood tense, weapons ready for an attack.
The others were staring, shocked to see more mutants. The blue one sheathed his katanas and holding his empty hands in front of him. The taller one stepped in front of his little brother holding his weapon higher staring down the red one seeing him as the bigger threat. He put his weapons away and held his hands up as well.
"Donnie, I don't think they'll hurt us, they put their weapons away," the orange banded turtle said setting his hands on his brothers arm.
The turtle loosened his arms slightly letting his weapon fall out of stance. He stayed where he was though shielding his little brother from the other turtles, no one would ever hurt his little brother. He looked down to his brother and saw his eyes a bright, pleading, blue looking into his pure white. He lifted his second eyelids and let his red brown eyes be seen once more.
The other two still stood there the blue one standing slightly in front of his companion hands held up showing he had no weapons in them. Donnie fell out of stance putting his naginata away feeling his brother do the same with his kurisgamia chain.
DONNIE'S POV
I turned my head slightly to look back at my little brother his bright blue eyes were watching the other two turtles, his eyes wide and fearful. He seemed to be scared of them, but curious as well, I smiled, he was always curious about everything around him. I turned back to the other two turtles they were still standing tensed up. I relaxed slightly and waved, letting the other turtles relax.
