war era marauders fic, told through the many diaries and journals of the characters. short chapters and frequent updates are my goal. hopefully this is a war era fix that won't make anyone cry, but you all know my writing, so we'll see where it goes. i have a vague plot idea but honestly it could change at any moment.

You know what people don't tell you about war? There's so much waiting.
The group has been gone for almost a week now. We're not sure how long they were supposed to be gone, but Moody always says not to do anything stupid unless you get a clear signal.
Jamie's not too pleased with that approach though. Not that anyone expected him to be, but I'm not used to seeing him so tense. He's usually all golden retriever "c'mon, cheer up!" about everything. I used to find it annoying but now I just wish he'd crack a joke.
