Chapter 1
The Camp Fam stand in utter disbelief. If the last 2 weeks had taught them anything, it was that things weren't always as they seemed, Literally.
It was hard enough to accept the fact Brooklynn was gone and that her death was no accident but accepting the fact she was alive and was well...selective about whom she told was an entirely whole other story. Not to mention the fact she left with one of the most dangerous people in the world, the same person who tried to kill them and sent them on their adventure on the first place, The Broker.
Kenji broke the silence.
"She... she left with...the Broker. Why would she... Is she really... working with...WHY?! He then turns toward Ben, " WHY DIDNT YOU TELL US?! All this time, we thought she was dead, all the pain we went through, was because of her and YOU...you helped her do it! He said, shoving Ben to the ground. Darius then breaks up the fight.
*"ENOUGH! We cannot start turning on each other! I get it, we are all mad, but right now, we need to focus on where the jet is going and How to save Brooklynn!"
The group stays silent for a while, the awkward kind of silence...
Yaz then speaks up.
"Darius...How can we even be sure...." She begins to say before Kenji rudely interrupts. "HOW CAN YOU BE SO NAIVE?!" Kenji says, charging toward Darius. "She said it herself that she's "Not the same Brooklynn you knew". Stop Being so...STUPID!"
Darius looks around as everyone stands completely silent. Darius couldn't believe it, their answers were vague, yet very clear. But Darius' resolve stays yet the same even if...They believed she was a Lost Cause....
"I'm going to find her with or without your guys help, I will NOT Abandon her AGAIN!" He says, walking away.
Darius was convinced that no matter what his friends thought, he would indeed save Brooklynn, no matter what.
As Darius walks away, Kenji can't help but say every thought on his mind about Darius, Brooklynn and the two in general.
"ARGH! He always lets his feelings cloud his judgements! Why can't he just see it for what it is!" He says, kicking a rock on the ground, "And her, It's... angering that we've been lied to this ENITRE TIME! Both of them are just PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER, Aren't they?!" Kenji said bitterly.
Meanwhile Darius attempts to question the airstrip employee for any information on the Jet's whereabouts, but all have the same answer of "I Don't Know.". Finally, Darius sits on a lonely bench on the outside on the airstrip office and recalls an old memory of him and Brooklynn, back when they were back on Nublar. He remembers when she saved his butt from Mitch and Tiff, when he went solo that one time and how she was always there for him, when he needed her the most but how he wasn't for her, when she needed him. He then gets up, determined not to repeat the same mistake again and to never give up on his hope again, as he did before. Darius then manages to sneak back into the Airstrip office when the employees get busy and manages to get his hands on the plane manifests. He then finds the plane's tail number on there and sees the plane is heading to the Dolomite Mountains in Italy.
"Ah ha! Looks like I'm heading to Italy." Darius says with a stern but determined look, "And I think I know how I'm getting there." He says, looking a cargo plane's manifest that heads in the same direction.
Darius then manages to sneak out of the office and stowaway on the plane, without anyone noticing. AT LEAST, not the employees noticing....
