(Hogwarts: Myrtle’s Bathroom - a day later)
“I was beginning to think you were not going to show” Stated Draco as Harry finally walked in
“I had to ditch Hermione and Ron, and since they are prefects, this was the time” admitted Harry
“Shall we get down to business?” asked Tracey
“Not here” Stated Harry as he walked towards the sink
“What do you mean?” demanded Draco
“Did you know that is the entrance to the chamber of secrets? That would be a better place to hide then an open bathroom” Retorted Harry
“Open” Hissed Harry in Parseltongue as the sink opened as Tracey and Draco backed up
“How are we getting down their?” asked Tracey
“Stairs” Hissed Harry in Parseltongue as a staircase appeared
“After you” Stated Harry as they reluctantly went down to the chamber of secrets as Harry followed
“Do you know anything else?” asked Harry as they entered the main room
“Snape is a spy for the Dark Lord” Shared Draco
“And he is Dumbledore’s spy too, playing double agent” Retorted Harry
“He is overlooking my task of killing the headmaster, he doesn’t know about the cabinet” Shared Draco
“I destroyed it this morning” Shared Harry
“About the Dark mark?” asked Tracey
“Is it a runic array?” asked Harry
“I would assume so” admitted Tracey
“I will need some books on Runes then, I am not familiar.” Admitted Harry as Tracey sighed
“And you couldn’t have told us this” Snapped Draco
“I told you I wasn’t certain I could” Returned Harry
“I will get you some books that would help, as well as some books on Parselmouth spells” admitted Tracey
“Thank you, what is your next attempt on the headmaster?” asked Harry
“I don’t have one yet” admitted Draco
“Would it matter, if you look at his hand, it looks like it is cursed. He might die anyway” Interjected Tracey
“Which would be bad” Stated Harry as he started to pace
“It is not like we can prevent it” admitted Tracey
“No, and Hogwarts will fall to Riddle.” Stated Harry
“Unless you take control of the Wards” Suggested Draco
“What?” asked Harry confused
“Convince Dumbledore to let you take control of the Wards” Suggested Draco
“He will not do that, but maybe McGonagall can” Returned Harry
“That is a good idea” Stated Tracey
“Anything else?” asked Draco as Harry debated for a second, and breaking his promise to Hermione and Ron about sharing anything about the Horcruxes
“What … What do you know about Horcruxes?” asked Harry as Draco paled
“Where … Where did you hear that word?” asked Tracey afraid
“What are they?” asked Draco confused
“A way to cheat death, store your soul in a container so if you die then you have an anchor to this world …. It requires the murder of an innocent. I assume the Dark Lord made one?” Whispered Tracey
“Several. Your father, Draco, had one in our second year it was what unleashed the monster of this chamber” Shared Harry
“My father had one, and Riddle made several?” asked Draco horrified
“Yes.” Supplied Harry
“What if there is one inside Hogwarts? We should probably look for it now, just in case the Death Eaters do take control and make it impossible for us to search” suggested Tracey
“That does make sense, but there is plenty of places to hide it” Stated Draco
“The room on the seventh floor, it would be easy to hide it there. A lot of people didn’t know about it so it would be an easy place” Suggested Harry
“Or we could ask some house elves” Countered Tracey
“I will look for it tomorrow night” Stated Harry
“Alright, how are we getting to this safehouse after term?” asked Draco
“If we can get on the express, then I look for you and I can get you out of there without anyone seeing you and take Tracey with us.” Explained Harry
“And if we can’t?” asked Draco
“I have a backup plan” Admitted Harry
“I have some other things I overheard at the manor” Stated Draco
“Let’s hear it then” Stated Harry as Draco gave him more information
(Hogwarts: Headmaster’s office – a week later)
Harry had managed to get a meeting with Dumbledore and was siting in the chair looking at Fawkes as Dumbledore sat in his chair.
“It is good to see you, my boy” Stated Dumbledore
“You too, Professor” admitted Harry
“You wanted to discuss something with me?” asked Dumbledore
“If we can keep it between us, I don’t want to Snape to know” Stated Harry
“Harry, Professor Snape has my upmost confidence” Stated Dumbledore
“I know he does, but I know he is a double agent. I can’t risk what I know to get back to Voldemort. It is important information” Shared Harry
“He wouldn’t know through your shared link?” asked Dumbledore
“I gotten good at redirecting him to unless memories when he attempts to take a look at what I am doing” Retorted Harry
“Of course.” Stated Dumbledore as Harry slid him a parchment
“And what is this?” asked Dumbledore curiously as he looked at it
“Information about the Death Eater’s plans, that I acquired” Explained Harry
“And how did you get this?” asked Dumbledore
“I have a spy of my own, that is what I don’t want Voldemort knowing about” Explained Harry
“Ah, I see. I assume you are not going to tell me who it is” Stated Dumbledore knowingly
“That is correct, we made an unbreakable vow” Revealed Harry as Dumbledore was shocked
“Them or you?” asked Dumbledore concerned
“Both of us, it was nothing immoral or wrong.” Explained Harry
“I wish you talked to me first, but what is done is done” admitted Dumbledore sighing
“I know you are dying” Blurted out Harry
“Yes, I found one of the Horcruxes and it had a nasty curse on it.” Shared Dumbledore
“I am sorry” Whispered Harry
“It is okay, my boy. I am ready for the next great adventure” Admitted Dumbledore
“For what is it worth, I found one. Here in Hogwarts” admitted Harry
“Where?” demanded Dumbledore
“The room of requirements, and the diadem of Rowena Ravenclaw. I have it stored under Fidelus in my trunk” Shared Harry
“I would have never thought of looking here” admitted Dumbledore
“A different perspective helps” admitted Harry
“That is does” admitted Dumbledore
“What will happen to the Fidelus at Grimmauld Place?” asked Harry
“It will fall” admitted Dumbledore
“One more thing, who will the wards at Hogwarts go to?” asked Harry
“I was debating on giving it to, Snape.” Admitted Dumbledore
“Might I suggest, Professor McGonagall. When Voldemort takes control of the Ministry, then a place is needed for the Muggleborns to be safe” admitted Harry
“Another good idea, I think 100 points for Gryffindor is appropriate. And I shall talk to Minerva about it after we are finished” Stated Dumbledore with a smile
(Hogwarts: Headmaster’s office – an hour later)
Minerva McGonagall was walking up to the headmaster’s office after being summoned, she knew that he had a meeting with Potter earlier.
“Albus” Greeted Minerva
“Minerva, please have a seat. We have a lot to talk about” Stated Albus as Minerva compiled
“Is something wrong?” asked Minerva
“Me and Harry had a conversation that got me thinking. If Voldemort takes control of the Ministry, then the Muggleborns and others will need a safe place, and Harry suggested here.” Revealed Albus
“It does make sense” admitted Minerva with a nod
“This is the plan that I had in mind …. “Started Albus
(Hogwarts: Main Hall – a few days later)
Harry was sitting at the table talking to Hermione and Ron when a delivery Owl landed near him and offered him the package, reluctantly he took it and saw that Tracey nodded at him which he returned before taking it.
“Who is it from?” asked Hermione
“I order some books I thought would be useful” admitted Harry
“Is it about the thing?” Whispered Ron as Hermione smacked him
“Nah, just some useful books about runes” dodged Harry
“Runes? I could have gotten you books on Runes” Stated Hermione
“Its fine, Hermione. These books will work” Retorted Harry as Hermione snatched one of them and paused
“A book of Parselmagic” Whispered Hermione as Harry snatched it back
“If I, have it, I might as well us it” Retorted Harry
“Are you sure?” asked Ron
“I am” admitted Harry
