(Hogwarts: Main Hall – a week later)
Harry was sitting again at the dinner table when Professor Flitwick ran into the room with Professor McGonagall behind him and it looked like she had been crying.
“Students, please quiet down” Barked Flitwick as the student compiled
“It is my duty to tell you, that Severus Snape killed Headmaster Dumbledore and managed to escape unharmed.” Shared McGonagall as the students were shocked and a few were crying, Hermione turned and saw Harry clench his fist.
“The school is going into lockdown and if you desire to go home, then we will open the express. Just known if you feel in danger, then you can stay until the Dark Lord is defeated. If you have the Dark Mark, then we will force you out.” Finished McGonagall
“Students please return to your common room” Ordered McGonagall
“Let’s go Harry” Stated Hermione sadly
“Go on ahead, there is something I need to take care of” Stated Harry
“Harry, now is not the time for vengeance” Warned Neville
“You are not talking me out of this, I need answers” Stated Harry as he got out his wand and threw his invisibility cloak over himself and disappeared
“Harry” Called out Hermione
(Hogwarts: Slytherin Dorms)
Draco and Tracey had raced out of the Main Hall once hearing what happened.
“Think about this Draco” Pleaded Tracey
“I have to leave now; we stick to the plan” Stated Draco
“What Plan?” Stated a female voice as they both turned to see Astoria Greengrass standing at the door
“I am leaving” Shared Draco
“Let us come with you” Pleaded Astoria
“It is not up to me” Stated Draco as he Shaked his head
“I am sure he wouldn’t mind” Whispered Tracey
“Who?” demanded Astoria
“I made a deal for my safety with … “Started Draco
“Did you kill him?” demanded a new voice
“No, I swear I didn’t, I remembered our deal” Pleaded Draco
“You are helping Potter?” Asked Astoria incredulously
“Turning traitor are we” Returned a male voice as they turned to see Theo standing there with his wand raised at them
“You think he really cares about us, Nott? We all are servants to him” Snapped Draco
“Your Father will hear about that, at your funeral” Retorted Theo
“You are outnumbered” Sneered Draco as he raised his wand
“Hardly” Stated Theo as Daphne came into view as Astoria and Tracey raised their wands
“Sister, Davis” Hissed Daphne and just when the conflict was about to start, spells came flying from behind them
“Stupefy” Roared a Male voice as Theo was hit which gave Tracey and Draco an opening to hit Daphne as well as they turned to see who cast the spell, seeing it was Harry who had taken off an invisibility cloak
“Are you taking him with you?” asked Tracey
“Yes, I need to get there before the Death Eaters do” admitted Harry
“Then you are taking us too” Demanded Astoria
“Fine, but we are leaving right now” Conceded Harry
“Then let’s go” admitted Draco as they ran out of the room, not noticing that they were being followed
(Hogwarts: Whomping Willow)
The group made there way to the Whomping Willow with Harry leading them there.
“So, what is the plan?” asked Draco
“We get you to safety and I make my way back here” Stated Harry
“Are you sure you can make it?” asked Tracey concerned
“I am sure I can manage” admitted Harry
“Potter” Roared a voice as they turned to see Blaise
“None of you are escaping” Roared Blaise as he aimed his wand at the tunnel ceiling
“Run” Yelled Harry as he stood in front of Blaise as he cast the Bombarda spell, and the tunnel collapsed behind him
“No where to run now, Potter” Sneered Blaise
“And yet you are outnumbered” Retorted Harry as everyone had their wands trained on him
“I am an expert in the Dark Arts, you are not defeating me” Retorted Blaise as a spell came his way and he was about to cast a shield, he was hit with a spell and sent flying back as his wand was sent towards Harry
“I am keeping this” Stated Harry
“I will get you for this Potter, all of you will pay” Sneered Blaise
“I doubt it” Stated Harry as Draco cast a stupefy spell, knocking him out
“Let’s get going” Stated Tracey
“Right” Stated Harry
(Hogwarts: Headmaster’s office)
The Teachers were all meeting up in the Headmaster’s Office, Dumbledore’s body had been moved for right now and curiously his wand was missing.
“All marked death eaters are being thrown out, and we are strengthening the wards” Stated Minerva as her first order of business
“I think it is for the best” Stated Flitwick as a shake was heard in the castle
“What was that?” asked Slughorn alarmed
“It could one of the tunnels, maybe the death eaters are attacking” Stated Sprout
“It is the tunnel that leads to the Whomping Willow” Stated one of the portraits
“I think we should call the order to …. Wait a minute shouldn’t the charm be down” Stated Minerva
“What Charm?” asked Slughorn
“The Order’s of the Phoenix’s Headquarters was under a fidelus charm. Dumbledore was the secret keeper” admitted Minerva
“Maybe he wasn’t” Offered Sprout
“No, I knew where it was. Someone must have recast it” admitted Minerva
“That is something we can worry about later, right?” asked Flitwick
“Of course, let us secure the school” Stated Minerva
(Malfoy Manor: Meeting Room)
Snape had managed to get out of Hogwarts and made his way to Malfoy Manor to tell Voldemort the news that Dumbledore was dead.
“Master” Stated Snape
“What news do you bring Severus?” asked Voldemort
“Dumbledore has been killed, my lord” Shared Snape as murmurs were heard about the room
“Are you certain?” asked Voldemort
“Yes, my Lord. I brought his wand too” Stated Snape as he pulled out Dumbledore’s wand and offered it to Voldemort who took it.
“Is this …. This is indeed his wand. I assume Draco was unable to do the deed” Stated Voldemort
“No, my Lord” admitted Snape
“Pettigrew, bring the cabinet. We are invading Hogwarts tonight” Ordered Voldemort as Pettigrew brought the Cabinet
“Bellatrix, take control of Hogwarts and install Snape as the new headmaster” Ordered Voldemort
“Of course, my Lord” Stated Bellatrix as she attempted to go through the cabinet
“It is not working my Lord” Stated Bellatrix as Voldemort cast some spells on it
“The Other Cabinet has been destroyed, did Dumbledore suspect it” Demanded Voldemort as he turned on Snape
“Not that I am aware of my Lord, Potter has been suspicious of Draco” Answered Snape as Voldemort cast a crucio on him and the released it
“Lucius you will pay for your son’s mistake. But first we will take the Ministry” Ordered Voldemort as the death eaters moved out as Snape felt the location of the Order of the Phoenix no longer exist in his mind
