Operation: Dare to Fall In Love

Chapter One: Their Meeting

"Raven! Get up! Time to Go!" She heard her mother yell up the stairs. She rolled over and looked at the clock. "7:00 am." She said softly as she sat up, got out of bed, she went over to her dresser and opened it. She got out her clothes and picked out an outfit. "Hurry Up! Don't want to be late on your first Day!" Her mother called up the stairs. A rainbow crop top sweater, a choker with a heart charm, a pair of black and white shorts, and brown cowgirl boots. She grabbed her outfit, went into the bathroom, took a quick shower then got dressed. She packed up all her stuff in her trunk and went downstairs to the car. She put her things in the car and sat in the backseat. They got to the train station. She said goodbye, grabbed her stuff and walked inside of the station with her things. On her way to the platform, she saw a few people walk through a solid wall and figured that was her destination. She followed them and saw platform 9¾. The train had 'The Hogwarts Express'  written on the side. She smiled to herself as she took her owl and other belongings onto the train. She got onto the train, and went into an empty cabin, she sat down and smiled.

About halfway through the train ride they were instructed to get ready. She smiled and did so. They finally arrived, they got onto the boats and went to the castle. "There are four houses. There are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Now while your here, your house will be like your family." She said as she began sorting the first year students into their houses. Once all the first years were sorted into their houses, now it was her turn. "6th year transfer student from Illvermory; Raven Dinas." The Professor had said her name. She walked up and sat on the stool. She placed the hat onto her head. "You have qualities that would make you a great choice for all houses. Strong minded a very good quality, intelligence, strength, You are very cunning and ambitious." The hat said. "But where to put you. Ah, I know, SLYTHERIN!" The teachers table clapped. She took off the hat and ran over to Slytherin table and sat down. The headmaster made a speech about boundaries and rules. She had gotten to know a few people at her table. A feast appeared on the tables in front of them all. Raven had never seen so much food in her life. She said her grace, then began eating. Once they were all finished eating they went went their separate ways. She went and follow her house prefect to the dorms. They went to the common room. "The password to get into the common room is Pure-blood." Their prefect named Felix said. The painting nodded and opened the doorway. They all went their separate ways to find their dorm. She went up the stairs and down the hallway when she found her dorm. She had her own room, all her things were there and there was a letter on her bed. She went over and grabbed it. She sat down and opened it. It was her daily schedule.

First: Transfiguration.

Second: Astronomy.

Third: Study Hall (Potions Classroom)

Fourth: Divination.

Fifth: History Of Magic.

Sixth: Herbology.

Seventh: Charms.

Eighth: Lunch.

Ninth: Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Tenth: Potions."

She placed her schedule on her desk and looked around her room before she began to unpack. She unpacked her things then went downstairs to the common room and sat down on the couch. She met her roomates and smiled as she got to know them better. "Who is our head of house?" She asked softly. "Professor Snape. He is also the Potions Teacher. We call him the greasy git or the Dungeon bat." A blue haired girl named Jenny said. "He favors Slytherins over everyone else." An older girl 7th year named Kimmie said. Raven giggled and watched them. A couple of boys came over. "Wanna play truth or dare?" Kimmie asked. "Sure." A few of them said in unison before they all started laughing. They all sat in a circle on the floor. "Who wants to be asked T or D first?" Jenny said. They started the game and played for about half an hour before it was her turn. "Okay Raven truth or dare?" Jenny asked. "Hm. Dare." She said. "I dare you to go and kiss Snape." Jenny said. "Eww. But okay let's go." She said. They all got up, went out of the common room and went to Professor Snape's office. "Ya'll stay here." Raven said softly as she knocked on the door. "Come in." Snape said. She opened the door and walked in. Leaving the door opened a little so the others could peek through. "Oh, Miss. Dinas. What brings you here?" He asked. "Just exploring." She said as she sat down on top of his desk in front of him. He looked rather amused. "What are you doing?" He said looking at the young girl in front of him. She leaned in and kissed him softly on the lips. "Sorry, it was a dare." She said softly as he just nodded. "I must be off, now curfew and all of that." She said as she winked at him as she left. Raven and her classmates left and ran back to the common room giggling. They went back and finished the game. Raven, Jenny and Kimmie all went upstairs and into Raven's room. They were all giggling. "Hey, Raven I have an idea." Kimmie said as they all went and sat on Raven's bed. "What?" She asked. "Since we are all involved but why don't make my last year more interesting." Kimmie said. "What do you mean?" Jenny asked. "Raven why don't you try and get Snape to kiss you?" Raven blushed. "What I don't even know him?" Raven said. "So how do you suppose I do that?" She asked Kimmie. "We will all give you tasks to do throughout the year. But the end goal is to get him to kiss you." Kimmie said. Raven thought for a minute before nodding. "Okay. I'm down." Raven said. "What should we call it?" Kimmie asked. "Seduction of Severus Snape?" Jenny said. "Nah to obvious." Kimmie said. "How about Operation Dare to Fall In love?" Raven said. Kimmie and Jenny nodded. "I like it." Kimmie said. "Me too." Jenny said. Raven went over to her desk and took out a blank and brand-new old styled leather journal "We can keep a record of everything we do in this journal." She said. She opened it and grabbed a marker. She wrote 'Operation: Dare to Fall In love!' on the first page. She then wrote 'By: Raven, Kimmie, and Jenny'  under the title. And that is how everything began. They all talked more about it before deciding to go to sleep. They all went to their own rooms. Raven laid down, covered up and went to bed.

Raven woke up in her bed. It was the first day of classes. Raven got dressed and went to the Great Hall. She sat down next to her new friends. "Hey, I have an idea for your first task." Jenny said. "You know how boys give girls flowers." Jenny said. Raven nodded. "You want me to give him flowers?" Raven asked. "Give him Lillies." Kimmie suggested. "No I have the perfect idea." She said. The owls came into the hall and delivered the mail. Her parents owl named Meri came and stood on the table and ate her breakfast. "Oh Meri, what are we going to do with you." She said softly as she pet the small animal's head and took the letters, that was addressed to her. Meri then stopped eating her breakfast, then flew over to Professor Snape. She opened one of the letters. It was from her dad.

"Dear Babygirl,

Don't worry about what I sent to Professor Snape. Me and Him used to be very close friends. I just needed his help for a project we are conducting at the ministry so you mustn't worry. But anyways, I was going to tell you before you left for school but I forgot like always. I forgot to tell you about the hidden room in the library.

You will come across a bookcase that was mismatched and covered with cobwebs. You will need pull down the book that says, "The Secret Love." The bookcase will move and you need to squeeze through and go in the slightly large crawlspace. Go past, the fake wall and follow the path and it will lead you to a small reading nook. There are tons of books and a fridge as well to store snacks and things in. There is also something else you should now Snape might be in there from time to time. Just don't tell him, I told you where to go.

Raven put down the letter and opened the other one. It was from her mother. Nothing really interesting just letting her know that they were okay. She went back to her room and got dressed for the day. She then went to her first class.

-Time Skip to the last class of the day.- She was sitting in Potions with Professor Snape. She took a deep breath as he came into the room, his cloaked bellowing behind him as he walked. He began teaching and she got out her notebook and began to take notes. She soon realized she had already learned what they were doing so she just began doodling and drawing Professor Snape in her notebook. Professor Snape noticed she wasn't paying attention in class. He went over took her notebook. "Some people think that just because I favor Slytherins doesn't mean I don't punish them. Detention tonight after dinner with me, Miss. Dinas." Snape said. "Yes, Sir." Raven said as he put her notebook onto his desk before continuing to teach the class. Once the class was over they were dismissed. Raven stayed in her seat as everyone else left.
"Miss. Dinas. Can I help you?" Snape asked as he returned to his desk and sat down. "You still have my notebook." She said looking over at him. "Yes, I do. While you were working, I was looking through your notebook and saw a lot of drawings of myself. So what makes me so interesting?" He asked her. "Nothing, really. I just enjoy drawing." She said as she stood up, packed her things away and walked over to his desk. "Hm. I will see you after Dinner for your detention." He said. She nodded as she grabbed her notebook. "Professor?" She said softly. "What is it Miss.Dinas?" He said coldly. "N-nothing. N-never mind." She stuttered out. She left and went to the Slytherin common room and went up to her room. She went over to her desk and sat down. She sighed as she summoned her love letter to Snape. A couple minutes passed and she was now finishing the letter.

"Dear Severus Snape,
For some strange reason I can't get you out of my head. Every since I met you, I have been thinking and wondering about you. You are the thing clouding my judgement and thoughts.
Even though we just met and you are older than me. I guess that's my type. I am attracted to the older, strict, smart, mysterious, silent type.
Please Respond by using this Raven. Her name is Ama.

She signed the letter and used a spell to conceal her handwriting so he wouldn't know it was her. She made a magical copy of the letter in her journal to show to the others. She called her small black pet raven named Ama. The small bird went over to her and looked at Raven. "Give this to Professor Snape at Dinner okay?" She said softly to the bird as she tied the letter and a small red rose to her foot. Ama nodded before flying out the window. After a couple minutes passed, she looked at the time and went down the the Great Hall. She went in and sat at the Slytherin table. She summoned a small peanut butter and jelly sandwich and ate it as Ama flew in and went over and landed next to Snape's plate. Snape looked around then took the letter and the rose. He opened the letter, read it and blushed a little. Remus Lupin and Dumbledore looked at him as they read the letter over his shoulder. Ama flew away and out the window. Professor Lupin and Dumbledore looked rather amused by it. Snape put the letter and rose in his pocket before getting up and leaving the Great Hall. Kimmie, Jenny and Raven watched him giggling. "I have to go. Detention with Snape." She said as finished eating. They nodded understandingly. She got up and left the Great Hall walking down the stairs and towards the dungeon.

She waved her wand and changed her clothes into something more comfortable. She was now wearing a t-shirt and a skirt with her school shoes and knee-high socks. She got to the Potions Classroom. She knocked on the door. "Come in." She heard a voice say. She opened the door and walked in. "Hello Professor Snape." She said softly. "You will be cleaning the entire classroom for your detention. Without magic." He stated coldly. She nodded and put her wand on his desk. "Y-Yes Sir." She went over to the supply closet and got a broom and dustpan. She began to sweep the floors as he went over and sat down at his desk. After 10 minutes she finished sweeping and cleaning up the mess. "Professor?" She said as she went over and pulled a chair over to and sat down next to Snape. "What is it Miss. Dinas?" Snape said. "May I use the restroom?" She asked softly. "Of course, but come right back." He said looking at her as he finished what he was doing. She left and went to bathroom. After she went to the restroom, she looked in the mirror as she cleaned herself up. Raven slowly walked back to classroom.
