Chapter One: Hogwarts

Luna Lovegood was in the tent planning Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley's wedding. She looked over at the front row, which was empty. Harry walked into the tent and looked over at Luna. "Why are the front row seats empty?" He asked. "Because Harry, the ghosts of Sirius Black, Lily and James Potter, Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks, Fred Weasley, Dobby, Professor Severus Snape, Hedwig and Albus Dumbledore are sitting there watching over us." She explained. Harry looked at her and began to break down in tears. Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Neville Longbottom, and Minerva McGonagall stood at the altar. Everyone stands as the wedding march is played. Luna comes into the room with flower petals spreading them  everywhere as Hermione, Nina and Raven follow her. They go and stand across from the boys. Ginny comes down the aisle in a beautiful long beaded white dress. She walks up to and stands across from Harry. "Dear friends and family, we are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the union of Harry Potter and Ginevra Weasley in marriage. In the years they have been together, their love and understanding of each other has grown and matured, and now they have decided to live their lives together as husband and wife." Minerva McGonagall said. "May you always need one another, not to fill an emptiness, but to help each other know your fullness. May you want one another, but not out of lack. May you embrace one another, but not encircle one another. May you succeed in all important ways with each other, and not fail in the little graces. May you have happiness, and may you find it in making one another happy. May you have love, and may you find it in loving one another." Minerva said. "Do you Harry, take Ginevra to be your lawfully wedded wife, promising to love and cherish, through joy and sorrow, sickness and health, and whatever challenges you may face, for as long as you both shall live?" Minerva said. "I, Harry Potter, promise you, Ginevra Weasley, that I will be your husband from this day forward, to be faithful and honest in every way, to honor the faith and trust you place in me, to love and respect you in your successes and in your failures, to make you laugh and to be there when you cry, to care for you in sickness and in health, to softly kiss you when you are hurting, and to be your companion and your friend, on this journey that we make together." He said looking at her.

"Do you Ginevra, take Harry to be your lawfully wedded husband, promising to love and cherish, through joy and sorrow, sickness and health, and whatever challenges you may face, for as long as you both shall live?" She asked looking at her. "I, Ginevra Weasley, promise you,  Harry Potter, that I will be your wife from this day forward, to be faithful and honest in every way, to honor the faith and trust you place in me, to love and respect you in your successes and in your failures, to make you laugh and to be there when you cry, to care for you in sickness and in health, to softly kiss you when you are hurting, and to be your companion and your friend, on this journey that we make together." She said happily. "Now for the exchange of rings." Minerva said. Ronald gives them the rings. "I, Harry Potter give you, Ginevra Weasley this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you." He said as he put it onto her left ring finger. "With this ring, I thee wed." Harry said. She smiled and looked at him. "I, Ginevra Weasley give you Harry Potter this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you." She said as she put it onto his left ring finger. "With this ring, I thee wed." She said smiling softly. "Wedding rings are made precious by our wearing them. Your rings say that even in your uniqueness you have chosen to be bound together. Let these rings also be a sign that love has substance as well as soul, a present as well as a past, and that, despite its occasional sorrows, love is a circle of happiness, wonder, and delight. May these rings remind you always of the vows you have taken here today." Minerva said. "By the power vested in me by the Ministry of Magic I now pronounce you husband and wife. Harry, You may kiss your bride." Minerva said. Harry smiled as they leaned in and kissed each other happily.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you Harry and Ginevra Potter." Minerva said happily. They held hands and smiled happily as fireworks lit up the ceiling of the tent. Music began playing and Ginny and Harry began their dance. They danced for a few minutes. Soon the mother and son dance was about to begin. Molly walked over to Harry and took his hand leading him out to the dance floor. Harry smiled as they danced together. Soon everyone joined including Ginny and George. Ginny and George danced together for two songs. The first dance with Ginny represented him. The second dance represented Fred. When Ginny realized what he was doing she began crying and hugged George. "Thank you." She said softly looking at her brother.  George smiled at her before leaving her to dance with her new husband. Nina and Raven stuck together throughout the ceremony and the reception. She wished that Severus could have been there to witness this moment. She picked up her stuff and her daughter before she said goodbye to everyone and went inside the house. She got the rest of her things and entered the fireplace. She got into the fireplace and said the address. The fireplace sparked to life and transported them inside of theirs house. Raven got Nina dressed and ready for bed. Raven tucked in her daughter and kissed her goodnight. She shut the door and went to her own room and got ready for bed. She laid down and went to sleep.

Severus Snape and Raven Dinas saved up a lot of money and bought a nice piece of land on the countryside of London. They then built a small house for them to live in. The house was four stories tall including the basement and the attic. It had an olden Victorian style for both the inside and the outside of the house. The upstairs of the house had 4 bedrooms each with 2 closets and private  bathrooms, a study, and a small library with a hidden room inside of it. Then there is the attic. One of the bedrooms was made into a potions lab for Severus. Severus and Lucius built a nursery the rooms. Then there is the master bedroom and the guest bedroom. Raven decorated the master bedroom and the guest bedroom.  Downstairs, there is a bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, and laundry room.

September 1, 2003

Nina Lily Snape and her mother Raven Snape walked to the fireplace. They got Floo Powder. They stepped into the fireplace and threw the floo powder. "Diagon Alley." They both said clearly as green flames surrounded them. They reappeared into a fireplace in Diagon Alley. They walked out of the fireplace and into Diagon Alley. First they went to Gringotts and got money to pay for everything. Then they went to Ollivander's Wand Shop. They walked in and looked around smiling softly. "Ollivander?" Raven called out into the store. Ollivander came in and smiled at them. "I wondered when I would be seeing you, Nina. It feels just like yesterday when your father came in here for his very first wand." He said smiling. "I will be right back." Her mother said. She nodded and looked at Ollivander. Her mother left the store. "I have just the thing for you." He said as he went into the back and pulled out a large wand box. He opened it as he came back out to her. He took the wand out of the box and handed it to her. She smiled and took it out of his hands gently before giving it a small wave. It summoned flowers all around her. She smiled happily before looking at Ollivander. "The wand chooses the witch, Nina." He said softly as she nodded gently. She paid for her wand and left. She then went and found her mother who had bought her a small snow owl. They walked down Diagon Alley and went into Flourish and Botts bookstore. They went got all of her books, paid for them before going back outside. They went into Gladrags Wizardwear, where she needed to get her robes for school. After getting her robes and paying for them. They walked down Diagon Alley and went into a different store and got two cauldrons, Raven and Nina paid for them before they finally left. They went to Scriveshaft's Quill Shop, they walked into the school supplies section and got six quills, and twelve bottles of red and black ink and four journals. They put them in the cart, went to the cashier and paid for them. They left the store and walked around Hogsmeade. They went to a bench and sat down for a little bit. Soon they got up and went home. They packed everything into her trunks for the next day. Raven Snape smiled as she went downstairs to the car. Raven Snape smiled as she went downstairs to the car. She put Nina's things in the car and sat in the backseat. Nina got into the car and Raven drove to the train station. She helped Mina grab her stuff and walked inside of the station with her things. They walked through King's Cross Station together. Raven and Nina walked through the wall together as they pushed the trolley. They went onto platform 9¾. Raven smiled as she saw that the train had 'The Hogwarts Express' written on the side. She smiled to herself as she looked at her daughter. "I'm going to miss you. I know that your father would be just as proud as I am of you. Now don't forget to write me and keep me updated." Raven said looking at Nina. Nina nodded. "I know, Mom. And I promise to write everyday." Nina said looking at her. Raven smiled happily and nodded. "Okay, stay safe." She said as she hugged her daughter and held her in her arms for a little while before finally letting go. Nina hugged her mother back tightly. "I'm going to miss you, Mom." Nina said softly. "I know, Nina. I'm going to miss you too." She said softly. "I will make sure to visit and check on you throughout the school year and I'm always just a Floo call away." She said looking at Nina smiling softly.

Nina nodded and looked at her mother as took her owl and other belongings onto the train. She got onto the train, and went into an empty cabin, she sat down and smiled. About halfway through the train ride they were instructed to get ready. She smiled and did so. They finally arrived, they got onto the boats and went to the castle. They went into the Great Hall. The Headmistress went to the podium "I have a few start of term notices I wish to announce. The first years please note that the dark forest is strictly forbidden to all students. The black lake is also forbidden, and if you value your life you must not go near to Whomping Willow. That is all, thank you." She said looking at everyone. "There are four houses. There are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Now while your here, your house will be like your family."  Minerva said. "When I call your name, you will come forth, I shall place the sorting hat on your head, and you will be sorted into your houses." Minerva said as she began sorting the first year students into their houses. "Nina Snape." The Professor had said her name. She walked up and sat on the stool. She placed the hat onto her head. "You have qualities that would make you a great choice for all houses. Strong minded a very good quality, intelligence, strength, You are very cunning and ambitious." The hat said. "But where to put you. Ah, I know, SLYTHERIN!" The teachers table clapped. She took off the hat and ran over to Slytherin table and sat down. She had gotten to know a few people at her table.

Nina filled her plate with chicken, mashed potatoes with corn. She mixed the corn and mashed potatoes together. She got weird looks from everyone else but she didn't pay attention to them. Once she had finished eating. She waited for everyone else to finish. Soon, Everyone was finished and the Headmistress dismissed them to their dormitories. Nina followed her house prefect to the Slytherin dorms. "My name is Henry Bindle. The password to the common room this year is Prince." The prefect said. They entered the common room. The Slytherin common room was a long, low underground room with rough stone walls and ceiling, from which round, greenish lamps were hanging on chains. A fire was crackling under an elaborately carved mantelpiece ahead of them, and several Slytherins were silhouetted around it in carved chairs. The common room had lots of low backed black and dark green button-tufted, leather sofas; skulls; and dark wood cupboards. It is decorated with featuring the adventures of famous Medieval Slytherins. "The girl's dorms are on the left side. The boy's dorms are on the right." The prefect said. "If you need anything you can ask me or a professor." he said. "All of your stuff is already in your rooms." He added. "Curfew during school days is 12:00 am. On the weekends curfew is 1:00 am." He said as he then dismissed everyone. She went upstairs and looked for her name on the rooms. She found hers eventually and found out that had her own room, all her things were there and there was a letter on her bed. She went over and grabbed the letter as she sat down on her be. She opened it and discovered that it was her daily schedule.

"First: Transfiguration.
Second: Flying.
Third: Study Hall (Potions Classroom).
Fourth: Astronomy.
Fifth: History Of Magic.
Sixth:Herbology.
Seventh: Charms.
Eighth: Lunch.
Ninth: Defense Against the Dark Arts.
Tenth: Potions."

She placed her schedule on her desk and looked around her room before she began to unpack. She opened up her trunk and unpacked everything. She put a picture of her parents on her nightstand. She put her clothes in the dresser and put her makeup on top of it with her jewelry box, pictures of her with her parents. She took out one of her father's cloaks out of her trunk and held it close to her. She put it on a coatrack before getting ready for bed. She put her blankets on her bed along with her stuffed animals. She got ready for bed before taking her father's cloak and putting it on before she finally went downstairs to the common room. "Excuse me, but do you know where I can find Severus Snape's Portrait?" She asked Henry. "No sorry." He said. She smiled softly and nodded. "It's okay." She said softly. Nina left the common room with her wand and wanders around the dungeons. She looked around for a little bit before finding the portrait of her father that hung in the grand staircase and began crying, she placed her hand on it gently. "Daddy, I'm so sorry for everything." She said softly as she looked at him. "Why have you disturbed me?" Severus Snape asked looking at the young girl standing in front of his portrait. She looked into his onyx eyes with her own blue eyes. Her eyes were like a trigger. They triggered thousands of images flashed through his mind as all of his memories came back.

A few tears ran down his cheeks as he remembered his wife and daughter. "Nina, You have gotten so big, sweetheart." He said as he wiped away his own tears. "I have missed you so much." He said. She smiled softly looking at him. "I missed you too. I was sorted into Slytherin, Daddy." She said softly. "Oh, I am so proud of you." He asked looking at her with a soft smile. "She misses you all the time, you know." Nina said softly as she sat down next to the painting on the stairs. "I wish that we all had more time together, Daddy." She added softly looking at him. "Me too, Sweetheart." He said looking at her happily. "I love you and your mom. So much. Every since my death, I have been watching over you and your mother, Nina. Minerva brought me back as a portrait and placed me in your home and I have watched you through out your entire life and I am so proud of you and your mother." He said looking at her as she started crying. "So did you hear us when we talked to you?" She asked looking at him gently. He nodded his head. She began crying more. "Don't cry, Sweetheart. I'm here now." He said softly looking at him. He reached out his hand out of the portrait and touched her head. She looked up at him shocked. "Daddy? What's happening?" She asked looking at him gently. He looked just as shocked as she was. "I'm going to try something, Okay, Nina?" He said to her. She nodded and stepped back as he then stepped out of his painting. She looked at him with tears in her eyes. "Daddy?" She said softly looking at him. "Yes, sweetheart." He said as he looked at her. She fell to the ground crying. He went fell to the floor besides her and hugged her. He wiped away her tears, she raised her head and looked up at him. "Me and Mommy have missed you so much, Daddy." She said as she hugged him back tightly. He picked her up and held her closely in his arms. She smiled so happily as she placed her head onto his shoulder. "I love you, Daddy." She said softly looking at him. "I love you too, baby girl." Snape said as he looked at his beautiful young daughter. "I have missed you and your mother so much." He added as they hugged one another. They didn't want to let one another go ever again. Severus Snape and Nina Snape walked into the Headmistress' office and went right up to Minerva McGonagall. Minerva got up instantly as she saw Severus. She went to him and hugged him tightly. "What happened?" She asked. "I went to talk to his painting. He regained his memories and then as he tried to comfort me, he was able to step out of his painting." Nina said as she hugged Severus. "I do not understand what or how this is happening." Minerva said as she heard a cough from Dumbledore's painting. "What is it, Professor?" Nina asked looking at him with a small smile. "I have read somewhere in a book that only doing something heroic before their death. An act of true heroism will be able to grant a deceased person the chance of living again." Albus Dumbledore's painting said as he looked at them. "What do you mean, Albus?" Severus snapped looking at him. "You are one of the main heroes of the second wizarding war, Dad." Nina said looking at him. "Exactly, Ms. Snape. It said that if someone that is deceased is granted a second chance, they must have done something extraordinary to be granted such a gift. It is kind of like the Elixir of Life but different the gods are watching over them. According to what I read it means that the person they bring back are destined to do great things in the time that they have left to live." Albus said looking at them all.

"I was a death eater that switched sides due to my loyalty to a dead woman." He said. "I am no hero, and I have not earned the right to be suggested as one." He added. Nina sighed and looked at her father. "Do you know what is it to truly be a hero?" She said as she looked at him. "No, I do not know. What is it?" Severus asked his daughter as they sat down "Look in the mirror and you'll know. Look into your own memories and tell me that you are not heroic. That you have not endured and suffered or lost the things that you care about most. You chose to stay and you endured so much pain and loss." She said as she thought about him and her mother. "You went to the one place where cowards don't last long and you spent so many years there so you must be a hero. I honestly believe that because a hero isn't someone who lives above us, and they keeping us safe." She said as she thought of everything that her father endured at Hogwarts. "A hero is not a god or an idea. A hero lives here with us, among us. They are always here but they are rarely recognized. I see you as who you truly are. And according to the gods you are destined to do amazing thing during your time here on this earth." Nina said looking at Severus with a small smile on her face. "You are a hero, Severus Tobias Snape. And above all else you are my hero, Daddy." She said looking at him with tears in her eyes. Severus had tears in his own eyes as he looked at his daughter and smiled happily. He pulled her close and hugged her tightly. "I love you, Nina." He said as he held onto her. She hugged him back as she cried on his clothes. "I love you too, Daddy." She said. They flooed Raven and explained everything that had happened. Without a second thought, Raven ran through the Floo when she heard the news of her husband's revival. Raven looked around and saw Severus. "Severus." She ran over and hugged him tightly. Severus hugged his wife smiling softly. "I thought that I would never see you again." Raven said as she looked at her beloved husband. "I know, my love. But I am here now." Severus said as he kissed his wife on the lips. They all walked hand in hand into the Great Hall. They went to their respective spots. Everyone was there as the headmistress stood up and went over to the podium. "I have an announcement to make. The other professors and I have decided that we are hosting a talent show this year here at Hogwarts." She said as everyone began whispering. "The talent show will be in two weeks and everyone will be allowed to join. Just write your name and house on the sign-up sheets stationed around the school and you will be good to audition for the Talent show. Auditions will be held in here at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Professor Flitwick will be holding the auditions. And the results will be posted in the entrance to Great Hall on Friday. That is all. You all are dismissed to your classes." He said as he went and sat down. Nina went to the classes she had for the day before going to the library and choosing what song to sing. She picked out a few books and went to her chambers.

Thursday..."Nina Snape, Slytherin." Professor Flitwick called out to her. She smiled softly and walked out onto the stage. "Hello." She said softly. "Hello, Ms. Snape. What will you be doing for us, today?" Severus asked her. "I will be singing I Kissed a Girl by Katy Perry." She said. "Okay, then. We can't wait to hear it." Professor Flitwick said. She began the music and began singing I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry began. She waited through the intro before beginning to sing. "This was never the way I planned, not my intention." She began to sing. She went over to a few girls in Hufflepuff, they got up and followed her. "I got so brave, drink in hand lost my discretion. It's not what, I'm used to. Just wanna try you on. I'm curious for you. Caught my attention. I kissed a girl and I liked it. The taste of her cherry chapstick. I kissed a girl just to try it, I hope my boyfriend don't mind it. It felt so wrong, It felt so right. Don't mean I'm in love tonight. I kissed a girl and I liked it. I liked it." She sang as they went onto the stage. "No, I don't even know your name. It doesn't matter. You're my experimental game. Just human nature. It's not what, good girls do, not how they should behave. My head gets so confused, hard to obey. I kissed a girl and I liked it. The taste of her cherry chapstick. I kissed a girl just to try it, I hope my boyfriend don't mind it. It felt so wrong, It felt so right. Don't mean I'm in love tonight. I kissed a girl and I liked it. I liked it." She sang as she danced around the stage. They began dancing around the stage happily as a few of the Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, and Slytherin students joined them. "Us girls we are so magical, soft skin, red lips, so kissable. Hard to resist so touchable. Too good to deny it. Ain't no big deal, it's innocent. I kissed a girl and I liked it. The taste of her cherry chap stick. I kissed a girl just to try it. I hope my boyfriend don't mind it. It felt so wrong, It felt so right. Don't mean I'm in love tonight." She sang as they danced on the tables with each other and the others were dancing on the stage. "I kissed a girl and I liked it. I liked it." She sang out as she sat down in front of Flitwick. Everyone that was in the room began clapping for her. She smiled happily as she heard it. "That was a truly wonderful performance. It was truly amazing." Professor Flitwick said as he looked at her. "Thank you." She said as she blushed gently. "That was amazing, Nina. You are truly talented." Severus said looking at her. She smiled happily looking at him. "Thank you, Daddy." She said as she smiled happily. "I'll see you later, Nina." Severus said. She nodded gently as she left the stage and then left the Great Hall.
