Chapter Two: The Song
"Lastly, we have Nina Snape performing an original song called Loneliest Girl." McGonagall said as she went back to his seat. The three young girls went onto the stage and sat down. She held it in her hands. "This song is dedicated to Professor Lucius Malfoy." She said as smiled softly as the music began to play. The music began playing. The lights come on, Nina and her friends appear on the stage. They were sitting on a small stone bench. She waited through the intro before beginning to sing. "It's a little cold in paradise tonight, love faded. Loneliness, you're tied around my wrist." Nina sang as she got up going over to the student tables. Nina went to over to Professor Malfoy. "You come along and I cry, when all I ever wanted was this. Sleepless nights, always seem to lose these fights." Nina sang as her friends danced. She smiled as he smiled softly at her as she held out her hand to him. "Building on my thoughts like bricks. I'm seeing clearly now. There's no turning back and I'm overwhelmed." Nina sang with her friends as they danced across the stage, beautifully and elegantly. She brought him to the stage and lead him to the center. "I was born to break these chains, like a spark before the flames. Do you really want to set the night on fire? Your my only way out. Do you really want to turn around again? You know you're my last chance." Nina sang together as she brought Professor Malfoy brought him over and sat down on the bench. She sat down next to him as she laid her head on his lap, smiling gently. "Watch me light a fire, fire in my soul. Yeah, I can feel it in my bones, like a dream about to explode. Watch me light a fire, light a fire in my soul." Nina sang as she got up and looked at him. Her friends on the stage all did flips, and used wand less magic to create fireworks in the Great Hall. "Can you feel my? Can you feel my? can you feel my tears? They won't dry, can you feel my tears drops of the loneliest girl? The loneliest girl." Nina sang as she used wand less magic to create exploding fireworks in the Great Hall. "Can you really love with a broken heart? In the coldest rain? I'm giving it a try, I'll let it out of it's cage to fly. You can count me in. So when the night falls, I'll be on your side. These eyes don't lie, cause my defeated hearts got nothing to hide. It's my only advice." Nina sang as her friends danced around the stage with one another as she sat up and looked at Lucius. "Watch me light a fire, fire in my soul. Yeah, I can feel it in my bones, like a dream about to explode. Watch me light a fire, light a fire in my soul. Can you feel my? Can you feel my? can you feel my tears? They won't dry." Nina and two young Hufflepuff girls sang in the background as Nina played with Lucius' hair gently. "Can you feel my tears drops of the loneliest girl? The loneliest girl. Keep it, keep it close to your heart and it won't go. Keep it, keep it close and then you will start to grow." Nina sang as they all surrounded Professor Malfoy. Nina was behind him, her friends were in front him. When the music ended, everyone clapped for them.
All of the lights immediately went out. Nina looked around and saw only darkness. She began to have a panic attack. She felt something cold touch her skin. Instinctively, she turned around saw a large cloaked figure wearing a mask with a weird symbol on it. She screamed loudly as it grabbed her, it began to scratch her. She screamed as she fought them off, she ran away and hid. After a few seconds the lights came back on and Nina was hiding in a corner crying. Raven, McGonagall, Severus, and Lucius went to her. "Nina, What happened?" Severus asked as he held his daughter. "There is someone is in the school. He was wearing all black and he had this awful mask that had some kind of symbol on it." She said as she went over to Lucius and curled up in his lap. "He was so cold to the touch. He kept coming after me, and he kept hurting me." She said as she looked at them. Madame Pomprey came over and tended to her wounds. She then bandaged up her arms and legs. Headmistress McGonagall used a spell and transformed the room into an empty room with sleeping bags for everyone. "All of the students will stay here in the Great Hall tonight. Staff search the grounds for the intruder!" McGonagall said as she said a spell and locked down the school. The students went to their dorms got what they needed for the night and got ready for bed. Nina got ready for bed and now was wearing her pink bunny pajamas. She was holding a blue bunny with a princess blanket. Raven and Severus were talking to Lucius Malfoy. She walked into the Great Hall and went over to her parents. "Mommy, Daddy. I want Uncle Lucius to look out for me tonight. Can he lay with me?" She asked looking at them. "I don't see why not. But you have to ask him." Raven said looking at her daughter. "Thanks, Mommy!" She said as she hugged her parents. They hugged her back. "I'm going to bed now. Goodnight, Mommy, Goodnight Daddy. I love you." She said looking at them. "Goodnight, baby girl. We love you too." Severus said looking at her. They let her go and she ran over to Lucius Malfoy. "Professor Malfoy, will you sleep with me. I trust you and I don't want to be all alone." She said softly. "Of course, I'll stay with you." He said gently as he took her over to two of the sleeping bags. He gently unzipped two bags and connected them to make a big sleeping bag fit for two people. She got five pillows for them. She set up the pillows, three for her and two for him. She laid down in the sleeping bag and looked up at him. He smiled softly and covered her up with her blanket and gave her the blue bunny. She smiled happily. He then got into it next to her and zipped them up. Nina wrapped her leg around Lucius' and pulled him close. She was now embraced in his arms. "Goodnight, Uncle Lucius." She said softly as she looked at him. He flashed her a bright smile. "Goodnight, Nina." Lucius said as he cuddled her softly. She was happy as she closed her eyes. She cuddled him and held him and her bunny close before she fell asleep while feeling safe. she was embraced with love and warmth from Lucius which made her feel protected.
The Next Week.... Nina Snape was walking down a hallway of the school to class. She heard a noise and turned around. She saw a large cloaked figure that was wearing a mask with the weird symbol on it. Nina screamed as she tried to run away. She tripped over her robes and fell. She then got up before running again. They manages to catch up as they took out a cloth and put it over her nose and mouth. It smelled like candy and sweets. She looked up at him terrified before she finally succumbed to the chloroform. Her kidnapper brought her into the dungeon. He brought her into a soundproof room and locked her in. He then sat her down in a chair and tied her up. A few hours later, Nina woke up in the dungeons and realized that she was tied to a chair. The hooded figure walked back in when he realized that she was awake. "Who are you and Why are you doing this to me?" She begged. The hooded figure didn't answer, instead he just took out a large plate of tools. "What are you planning to do to me?" Nina asked, looking at them. "I’m going to make your family members regret ever meeting me." They said as they picked up a scalpel and came closer to her. They cut deep lines into her face and arms. They also tortured her for information on her father and Lucius. "Tell me, who did Severus sell out the dark lord too?" They asked as they cut into her stomach. "I swear I don't know anything." She begged as they sliced her stomach. A few minutes later her parents with a handful of aurors entered the room. "You under arrest by the Ministry of Magic, Barty Crouch Jr." Harry Potter, who was an Auror said as they took off the mask and arrested him. Severus and Raven ran over to Nina and untied her. "I was so scared." She said looking at them both. "I know, sweetheart, calm down." Her father said as he looked at her. "Send in, quickly." Her father shouted. Soon Madame Pomprey and Lucius entered the room with a stretcher. "It was so cold, he kept hurting me and asking so many questions about Daddy and Lucius. I kept yelling and screaming that I didn't know anything." She said as she looked up at them. She began tearing up and crying as she held Lucius' hand. Madame Pomprey came over and tended to her wounds. She then bandaged up her arms and legs. They put Nina on the gurney and took her to the Hospital Wing. Poppy then proceeded to feed her a few healing potions. She felt her wounds beginning to heal and her magical energy and power return to her. Nina closed her eyes and fell asleep, letting her do everything that she needed to in order to save her.
Hours later, Nina was laying down on a cot in the hospital wing. Lucius was asleep in a chair next to her. He was breathing quite gently. She shot up in the bed and looked around. "Lucius?" She said as she saw him. Lucius heard her and woke up. "Hey, Nina." Lucius said softly. "Lucius." She said softly. "How are you feeling?" He asked her. "My body hurts a lot." She said softly. "It's hard to move." She added. "I can get your parents or Poppy." Lucius said looking at her. He stood up and she grabbed his hand. "No, no could you just hold me please?" She begged gently as she scooted over and made room for him. "Yes, of course." Lucius said softly as he took off his coats and shoes. He climbed into the bed besides her. She leaned over and laid her head down onto his chest. "Thank you for finding me." She said looking at him. "Anytime." Lucius said softly. "What happened when you were with him?" He asked as he held out his hand for her. She began tearing up and crying as she held Lucius' hand. "It was so cold, he kept hurting me and asking so many questions about you and Daddy. I kept yelling and screaming that I didn't know anything." She said crying. "Oh honey." She said softly looking at him. He just looked at her and held her closely and tightly in his arms. "Lucius, There is something that I need to tell you." She said softly looking at him. "What is it?" Lucius asked. "I love you, Uncle Lucius." She said looking at him. "I love you, munchkin." He said as he held her close. She smiled and closed her eyes. "That makes me happy." She said softly as she cuddled him. They both fell asleep and slept peacefully throughout the entire night and well into the next evening.
