The life on the clouds
The first few weeks of being taken from his home were horrendous for Remus. Finding out his true origin was confusing and difficult for him. He was told by other Angels that he should feel grateful for being able to serve his purpose and live among the once of pure blood. He on the other hand at the time couldn't care less about his true path and started preparing for an escape. Even though he now possessed wings that were previously hidden from sight he still couldn't wield them well enough to try to escape by flying so he tried to sneak off by foot even though he didn't know in which way the escape even was.
He was found in the early morning close to the boundaries of the beautiful place. What he did find out that day was that the place was high upon the sky and later that night that it was protected from the mortals by spells that are powerful enough to never be seen even by more advanced magical beings like wizards.
When he found out about his true origin he was surprised but at the same no that much since he could always see something different in himself apart from others. When he found out about who his real birth mother was he was angry and hurt. He was angry at his parents for never telling him that he wasn't really their son and especially that he didn't actually have a twin sister. He was angry at his mother for leaving him and he was angry at his father for acting like talking him away from earth was for the best.
Remus rarely saw or talked with his father since he was one of the few rare angels who were of a great influence and were allowed to work and help directly on earth. Remus never did grow to like his father much but he learned to respect him for his abilities and his accomplishments.
Remus never did forget about real family. For years he was hoping to wake one morning and be back home with his sisters and parents. Even though he was hurt that they weren't his real parents he knew that they did what they did because they loved him.
He knew that he would probably never see them again so he decided that he would help make the world at least a little bit better for them.
He started taking his training seriously and quickly over the years became one of the most promising angels from his generation.
He was nearing the age of 14 now. The quests were given to young Angels in a way for helping them finish their training. They could be anything really and that was the most intriguing part of them.
Giving the Angels their first quest was tradition and was taken very seriously. The most promising Angels would often get the hardest ones, which would often result in them visiting earth, which he was madly hoping to achieve.
If he only knew that the quest he was going to have to achieve was going to turn his world upside down.
