Thanos had enjoyed the first game, but he had taken notice of a shyer boy, he was anxious and seemed fearful. He had been crying and crying after the game was over. Thanos saw him and was slightly worried, but his friend Namgyu kept mocking them. Eventually Thanos snapped at him and said “shut up nam-su!! Leave the guy alone. Can you not see his scared?” He snaps at the other man. Namgyu’s eyes widen and he shuts up, but not before muttering “it’s nam-gyu…” Thanos rolled his eyes and walked over to you, “hey dude, are you okay? I’m Thanos by the way, the legend.” You turn and sigh, “no. I’m really scared, I’m y/n, by the way. I hope I’m not upsetting you with my uhm… upset attitude. You seem very positive…” He laughs and shakes his head, “no mr y/n!! You’re doing great, hey here’s an idea! Stick with me and my gang and we’ll keep you safe for real.” He grins, seeming so sure of himself.
You decide to join their group, leaning a lot into Thanos, he quickly becomes a comforting presence for you. And that doesn’t change during the second game. After the second game you’re snuggled close to him in his bed, his hand is playing with his hair absentmindedly as he comes down from his earlier high. His pupils are still blown pretty wide but you try to push the thought out of your head as you gaze up at him. “Thanos?” You mumble, “yes Y/n?” He replies, seeming to be lost in thought, you look away. Before asking probably the stupidest most embarrassing question of your entire life. “Thanos, do you like guys?” The question seemed to surprise him, and he looked down at you with a grin. “Why do you wanna know dude? You got a crush on me or something?” He chuckles. “But yeah, for your information. I do like guys, guys, girls, everything in between, I don’t really care.” He smiles down at you, “is that a good answer?” You nod slowly and look up at him in awe. “Yeah…”
The next question comes flying out of your mouth before you could filter it, you really didn’t mean too of course, but you accidentally looked right at him and asked, “would you date me?” Your own eyes widen and you busy your face in his chest to hide the growing blush on your cheeks. “Shit- I didn’t- ahhhh I didn’t mean thattt!!!” You try to make up an excuse but feel his arms tighten around you, “hey, hey, calm down dude… I’m not mad at you or anything. I actually would totally date you. You’re pretty cute and sweet and I think you’d make a great boyfriend.” Your eyes widen even wider than they already were and you stare at him before trying to relax and mumbling, “r-really…?” He smiles and plays with your hair a bit more. “Yeah man, really. I like you. A lot more than I probably should seeing our situation” he gestures around you to all the people sleeping in bunks around you.
But no one else seems to matter as you pull him down, so your lips are less than an inch apart. “Thanos…” you whisper, feeling his breath on your face. “May I?” He grins, and you nod. He kisses you. It’s not long, but it feels like an eternity. His lips move against your perfectly and he holds you like you’re the most important thing in the world. When you finally pull away his eyes are bright. “That was perfect” you breathe as he lets out a laugh. “Yeah baby it sure was.”
