Chapter 9

first week of Rigel's first year, the squad picks up a bit of the ruse (this isn't archie), similar to flint. they all run interference for Rigel. they don't find out Rigel's true identity until summer and leo encounter

(and speaking of Marcus, he gets adopted too)

Caelum is the one person who doesn't know. not because no one told him, he just wasn't paying attention

It wouldn't be the 'rigel is Harry' reveal, it'd be the 'Harry is Rigel' reveal

this is the point when Harry is told about Tonks' miraculous adventures as the third (fourth) Weasley twin, so Rigel takes on the identity of the fifth twin when she's doing something she doesn't want traced back to her, or really just to get into the library

Edmund is recruited (bribed with issues of [title - creature magazine]) to be an occasional Weasley twin as well and Aldon feels betrayed

also caelum is ofc jealous of rigel not just bc of potions and getting uncle professor snape's attention, but bc Rigel is actually Reggie's nephew. Harry just wants in on his pseudo internship brewing for the hospital wing

but Leo and Caelum are still running that potions racket and of course Rigel finds out and begs to brew for them.

Leo is just like, this is my new best friend, rigel. rigel is like, okay? leo you’re really weird, but can you put in a good word for me w caelum i want his advice

Caelum is conflicted because on the one hand he wants to be angry about this but on the other he is still nominally insists he and Leo are not friends (despite it being blatantly false to literally everyone)

Leo is just holding out to try and get an actual admission of friendship
