𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗯𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻; Ron Weasley

I walk into the great hall with a large sweater on that I'd stolen from Blaise months ago on.
My head was killing me, but not as bad as it was the first party of the year. I could still remember everything from last night, pacifically that stupid blood traitor referring to me as a bitch.

"What's with the glasses, the sun isn't out" Theodore joked as he pointed at my face with a large smile on his face.

I slapped his hand away and hissed. "Leave me alone okay? I'm not in the mood for you bullshit Today, Theodore"I snapped.

"Yeah your not going to be in the mood the whole trip when you see who've you been paired up with" He mumbled, thinking I couldn't hear but I was lucky enough to
catch it by a little bit.

I send him a look of confusion before hurrying over to the wall the list was plastered on.
Groaning due to almost every sixth year being in my goddamn way. I cursed as I pushed through them, ignoring there hisses and complaining. Bastards.

My eyes immediately went to skimmer around the paper as quickly as I could.

I just wanted to hurry up and see what was so bad about who I'd been paired up with, because if we were paired up we had to be compatible in some way for Dumbledore to think we were meant to be friends. I finally found my name and I felt my the whole world crashing down quickly.

Ron Weasley and Rebekah Moons.

My point about Merlin hating my guts has finally been proven. He set me up to spend
half of my Christmas break with a blood traitor, lovely.

I didn't even have my father to sign my slip for me returning back home so if I were to not go on this trip I'd be stuck here with Tracey Davis who I honestly couldn't stand.

Theodore had been paired up with a seventh year Ravenclaw girl named Cho Chang,
I wouldn't doubt it if they had some type of connection, Theodore has thing for smart girls.

"Bloody hell, just stab me in my neck now and get it over with" I jokingly begged with my hands together making Theodore burst into a laughter.

I rolled my eyes before adjusting the black beanie on my head causing the snow to fall down onto the tip of my nose. Merlin, I hate when things get in my face.

Theodore looked at the watch on his wrist and frowned, he showed it to me and I sighed. It was half past nine and we were still in the great hall — I was waiting patiently it gave me some time before I had to go off and torture myself with the presents of Ron.

I admit that I was kind of disappointed that Blaise really wasn't going on this trip, he'd wanted to go for so long and I really wanted him to come as well.

"Everyone must join their partners at this moment" Dumbledore announced loudly and loud groan erupted from the great hall. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who doesn't favor who their was paired with.

I looked at Dumbledore with an angry expression and he did nothing but smile back.
This old hag knows exactly what the fuck he's doing. He knows I hate Ron and because I didn't want to take Arthimancy he's putting me in hell.

Theodore muttered a quick goodbye before he walked over towards the Ravenclaw girl who didn't look to please with him being her partner but its fair because Theodore didn't look to happy either.

"Ron" I greeted coldly, looking him up and down with an blank expression on my face.
He rolled his eyes and that's when I immediately knew that this wasn't going to work out.

"Rebekah"He responded back just as cold, looking over his shoulders to where Lavender Brown stood next to Zacharias Smith.

No other words were exchanged between us as we follow the group outside of Hogwarts grounds— we're supposed to be going to where ever the portkey was but it was taking an unnecessarily long time.

I hoped that it was like this the whole trip, he'd keep his overly fat mouth shut and I would be at somewhat peace.

"Merlin how long is this stupid walk to the portkey" I grumped loudly, My walking now turning into stomping due to how much my legs began to work.

Ron scoffed. "Please don't tell me your going to complain this whole time" he snapped with a troubled expression on his face.

"Please do not tell me that your going to talk the whole trip or it'll make my life a living hell"
I hissed as I brushed the snow off of my shoulder.

"Then I guess that's what I'll be doing this whole trip, talking, just to make it worse for you" He spits.

I stomp ahead of him— I planned on enjoying this trip and nothing is going to ruin it for me especially a red head blood traitor.

My eyes looked around for Theodore or someone who I talked to at least. Theo was having a conversation with Cho so I decided not to go over there, then my eyes landed on Draco and he didn't look to happy either. I wondered who he got paired with.

"The fucking mudblood" he muttered as I walked by his side, my head tilted but then when I realized who he was talking about my eyes grew wide. "That's who I got paired up with, Granger"

At first I thought maybe he was just joking, until I turned around and seen Granger not to far behind with a frown on her face and her arms folded on her chest.

Yeah, I don't like Ron and spending the trip with him really isn't my biggest dream.
But if I would've got paired up with Granger,
I might've just have offed myself.

Something in me hoped that when we were forced to hangout with our partners that Granger doesn't walk in on Draco when he's changing and see his mark, because that'll really mess up things.

When we finally reached the portkey Dumbledore wanted to make an announcement before we grabbed onto it.

"Your bags will be in the cabins that your assigned to, I suggest that everyone has
their wands in case theirs any complications"
He continues with a smile on his face.
"We have put together a rather exceptional
trip this year, better than others I admit,
I hope that you'll all have fun"

With that he turns around and Professor McGonagall, filtwick, and Snape are following behind him back to the castle. The trip is supposed to be ran by Professor Sinistra, the astronomy teacher, being that on this trip were also supposed to be looking for constellation.
The only staff members that was here besides her was Hagrid and Filch.

I removed my reading glasses from my face as Sinatra said the charm. After she was finished, you would've thought it was herd the way every student ran in over, attempting not to get left.
When Hagrid took ahold of the portkey we quickly vanished.

When we landed on the camp grounds I had to stop myself from throwing up from the sickness that was caused by the portkey.

A hufflepuff girl in my year that I recognized as Hannah Abbout on the other hand, let's just say it wouldn't be too pleasing to receive a kiss from her. But i doubt that her partner, Neville Longbottom, would even be bold enough to make a move on her.

"It's still a little walk towards the camp yard, come on everyone let's get moving" Professor Sinistra said and groans and complaints came from all over.

"Bloody hell women! Are you trying to kill us" I heard someone shout making me burst into a quiet laughter.

After another hour and a half of walking we finally came upon what I assumed was the camp grounds— ten cottages covered in different color ivy's all facing towards two other cottages one labeled mess hall and the other labeled star gazing.

Although I didn't like outdoors I must admit that the venue was rather pretty and it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be.

"Okay now everyone, go over to that table over there where filch is sitting to be assigned your cottage, get settled in and meet in the mess hall in thirty minutes!" Professor Sinistra instructed but before she could even finish half of the students were off to see what cottage they were in.

I was assigned to house four, when I walk inside I felt my stomach go sick when I see
non other than Jade Wright siting on one of the beds with an open book.

My eyes rolled and walked over to where my trunk was placed on, the bed closest to the window. When I plop myself down on it Jade finally looks up from whatever she was reading.

I looked out of the window and seen a cottage that I hadn't noticed before, well of course I hadn't because it was in the woods. I squinted my eyes in attempt to read what it said and it took me while to finally register that it was a pool. Why the hell would we need a pool in the middle of the winter?

"Hello" A voice that was unrecognized to me greeted making me a look up. A girl that I've never seen before stood in the frame of the door, she had on a Ravenclaw tie.

"I like your hijab" I complimented, looking at her with a friendly smile on my face. I came to a sort of conclusion that if I didn't know her it was likely that she didn't know me. "I'm Rebekah Moons"

She shook my hand and reflected the friendly smile. "Hello Rebekah, I'm Badeea Ali, I think we might have astronomy together" She said kindly.

I doubt that we did because as I said before I've never see her, but maybe I have seemed her and never payed attention.

"Did you guys here about the Christmas exchange? We all have to get one person in
our dorm a gift and then our partner one"
Jade explains lowly from the corner, speaking for the first time.

I didn't bother responding, even though I had no idea about that. All I did was reach into my trunk and pull out the blue Dragon toad that I snuck in, I couldn't leave Valkyrie there with those cats unwatched they might eat her.

Badeea and Jade talked the whole time until it was time to go to the mess hall making me feel rather awkward being that I didn't want to hold a conversation with Jade.

I took a seat at the table that Theodore and Draco was during at, listening as Theodore said nothing but good things about his partner.

"At least you got someone who you can stand, and not a mudblood or a blood traitor like me and Moons" Draco jeered, looking over his shoulder and sending a scowl to Granger.

"You were obviously put with her for a reason I mean" Theodore shrugged with a grin on his face. "She might end up being the one Dra—"

Draco sent a punch at Theodores arm making him wince. "Shove off alright, Nott" he warned, glaring.

Just as Theodore was about to shoot something back Professor Sinistra came to the front of the mess hall, making it go silent within minutes.

"You guys are beyond lucky to be here, although you are here to have a good time there are rules, no one is to be out of their cabins alone past two a.m,  You do not go wondering in the forest unless you and your partner are sent to go on a trail, you must listen to the income at all time because it explains what it is you and your partner will be doing that day, and if you are planning to throw a party be sure to use a silencing charm and do not host it in the forest, if you are caught any time in the forest without instructions you will be sent home" That last sentence came out of her mouth with venom. She sighed and slapped a smile on her face, "Am I understood?"

Nods and yes came from all over the mess hall.
Although the rules were simple and the main one was don't go in the forest I was beyond sure that someone was going to break it anyways.

"Now after dinner I advised you go to bed, we have long days planned ahead of us"

And just like that food was served in front of us and before I could even blink Theodore was already digging into it.
