"If I'm going to be forced to hang out with you we might as well do something somewhat fun" I tell Ron as we walk into the star gazing cottage that was filled with telescopes and books.
Ron rolled his eyes and huffed, "Reading books is not fun, why can't we go get in the pool or something..?" he mumbled.
"We are doing something, reading books"
I calmly say, throwing one of the old books from the shelf to him.
Right now we're being forced to do an activity with are partners for two hours, although Ron didn't like me much, I knew that he would do whatever I wanted to do and I plan to use that as my advantage this whole trip.
Also, I'd love to get in the pool but that seemed to be the activity that everyone at the camp chose to do and it was beyond over crowded.
"Here, I got you these" I uttered as I pulled out the bag of candy from my bag, it was my way of trying to keep him silent.
Like a five year old without another word he sat in the lovesac that was in the corner with
a large grin on his face, he opened up the bag and began to toss candy in his mouth.
I pushed my square reading glasses that were sitting on my nose onto my face, although I hated wearing them I couldn't really read without them.
"Your glasses, are stupid" A voice said sharply following it by a loud laughter. I was happy that we were the only people in here or I just knew that people would be staring.
I looked over my shoulder a scowled at the red head. "Not as stupid as your overly ridiculous face" I spit back.
"At least I can read without glasses"He teased making me gasp.
"At least I can read! Don't know if you've been told this Ronald but your beyond illiterate" I hissed, launching another random book that I found at him.
That seemed to have hit a nerve because he didn't bother saying anything else to me.
He threw the books that I thrown at him to
the side and continued his candy eating.
I decided to go with a book about mythology, well about three of them about it. I slowly walked over to the table because I didn't want to drop the thick books and just as I was about to sit down.
"Hey can you pass me that book right there, something about astrological signs?" He questioned, pointing at the top shelf.
Not going to lie I was kind of pissed that he decided to ask me just as I was about to sit down. The only reason why I was going to do
it was because I thought he was actually going to read it.
I walked over to the bookcase and stood on my tipped toesβ attempting to get the book that was on the top shelf. When I couldn't reach it a loud huff escaped my lips and I looked at him with an pissed expression.
When he chuckled at me I knew in that second that he'd only asked me to get it to tease me about my height, bastard.
"It's all right, Moons, I'll get it.." he reassured, trying to maintain a straight face. He simply reached up right behind me and grabbed the book like it was nothing.
Merlin he's tall. Yeah, I wasn't the tallest person but even if I was over average height I don't think I would be able to get the book from its designated sitting area. I'm sure you had to be over six feet to grab it and he was about four inches over that.
"Your such a dick" I hissed, pushing at his chest. He did nothing but chuckle again as I stormed over the table my books were at.
A few seconds later he joined me at the table.
I didn't bother looking up, randomly I got deja vu from the day when he took my necklace.
He'd sat down in front of me and I was choosing to ignore him, just like that day.
Finally, I looked up to see what he was doing.
He looked peaceful as he read the page about his astrological sign, and I couldn't help but to feel guilty at the sudden arousal growing in my body when he licked his lips in concentration.
Out of embarrassment I closed my legs and shook it away.
"What's your sign?" He questioned me, slowly looking up, my eyes darted back to the paper because I didn't want him to know that I was admiring him.
"Oh.. um, I'm pretty sure I'm a Libra" I said as I cleared my throat and pushed my hair out of my face.
He nodded and went back to his book, for the first time in five years he actually looked somewhat interested as he read the book.
Randomly a sidity Draco Malfoy burst through the doors of the library and I raised my eyebrows. Not to far behind him Granger, clutching tightly on the beaded bag in her hands.
"There's your girl" I say, kicking Ron's calf underneath the table making his eyes dart up in confusion. I nod my head towards where Granger was standing and his eyes slowly landed on her.
It only took her maybe thirty seconds to notice us and when she did, she flipped her hair off of her shoulder and walked over making me roll my eyes.
"Play nice Bex" he whispered coquettishly with a smirk on his face just before Granger reached are table.
Well me I didn't want to sit here and listen to them have a conversation so I decided I was going to put my books back that I hadn't read because I spent the last half hour fantasying over the way Ron read a book like an complete idiot.
Then a gawking Lavender Brown and a perplexed Badeea Ali walk into the library and take a seat at the table across from where Ron was sitting.
I couldn't help but to laugh when Badeea looked at me and mouthed help me. She was actually a person that I could see myself befriending when we returned to Hogwarts.
The two of us spent all night talking about the most random things, it was actually quite fun.
"Granger!" Draco yelled from across the room with aggravation easily detected in his voice.
I seen Granger say something to Ron and roll her eyes before raising her eyebrow and walking over there.
I took this as the opportunity to finally walk back into my seat, a little shock how the library suddenly got crowded. My guess was that they were forced to be here because no way Seamus Finnign and Micheal Conner are willingly in the library.
An alarm bell rung which meant that the two hour mark was something in me was little disappointed that I couldn't watch him read anymore. I really need to go get my mind checked out.
"Later Rebekah" he said lowly as I grabbed my purse from the chair aside me. I took my glasses off and stuffed them inside.
"Bye Ron" With that I walked out of the library with Badeea by side. The two of us was on our way back to the fourth cottage.
When we walked inside I waved my wand and the blue, purple and white fairly lights blinked on. I was beyond happy when I seen that Jade wasn't there, she weirdly had be assigned with Harry Potter.
"Your partner is a very attractive boy, isn't he?"
Badeea asked with a shy smile on her face as she plopped herself onto my bed.
"Ron Weasley? Attractive...Ugh! No he is not" I said in the most unbelievable tone, following it with an over dramatic gag.
A smug smirk grew on her pale face. "You think he's attractive, don't you? You can tell me I won't tell anyone... I don't even have anyone to tell" she says, raising both of her eyebrows up and down.
"I don't think he's atβ" I couldn't stop the smirk grows upon my lips, But it disappears and so does my sentence when Jade and Ivy burst through the door.
By ivy's face I could tell that they'd been arguing over something. I knew that their
plan wouldn't work and that they wouldn't go through it, Ivy doesn't enjoy someone who wants to follow the rules she's more of a free spirit.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss Ivy, but I was was not going be friends with someone who would help someone try to make me jealous.
"Don't stop talking on my occasion, please continue" Jade says, earning a nudge to the side from her girlfriend. "Talk Moons"
Badeea said something about her being hungry and walked out of the room. Softly closing the door behind her.
I glared at her. "You know what Jade Wright? I'm getting tired of your weird little obsession with me, it's not my fault that you dropping your knickers doesn't get my attention anymore" I snapped not caring about who
was listening.
"Rebekah!" Ivy gasped.
Tears brimmed the corner of Jade eyes as she stared at me, her mouth was slightly dropped.
She stood up and walked over towards me.
Before I could blink my eyes I felt a sting on
my cheek.
My eyes screwed shut and I started counting
in my head because I knew if I didn't start counting I was going to do something to Jade that would probably put me in Azkaban.
Loud cries escaped Ivy's lips as she ran out of the cottage, leaving the door open, people who were walking past looked at her and then looked at Ivy who was standing in the frame of the door.
I muttered a spell that made the door slam shut. Nearly hitting Ivys face, she gasped and throws herself backwards onto the floor.
"Y- you and Jade was a thing?" She asked with a stunned expression on her face. At first I thought she was just joking but by the oblivious in her face I could tell she wasn't.
"Iβ I thought she liked Theodore, that's what she told me"
"You should go" I suggested, point at the door with a serious face on my face, my finger pointing at the door.
"I'm so stupid, I should've know... she always use ask me to ask you to tag along and always wanted to hang out in the dorm and would get angry when you weren't there" She mumbled under her breath.
She looked up at me with her eyebrows furrowed. "Wait is that why you stopped talking to me? Because you thought are plan was about you β I would never do that to you Rebekahβ"
"But you still did it to Theodore and Blaise... they were your friends and that's just wrong so wrong Ivy!" I shouted.
"Trying to make someone jealous isn't wrong, at least we weren't trying to break up Blaise and Luna!" She shouted back, standing up from the ground.
"You basically were! That's why you were
doing trying to break them up just leave Ivy"
I pointed at the door once more.
"Yeah I'm such in a wrong, right? No one ever says anything about how your so smitten over that Blood traitor" Ivy says, her eyes grow wide when she realized what she said and she slapped her hand over her mouth.
"What are you on about Ivy?" I lowly asked, looking up at her with forced confusion plastered on my face.
"Nβnothing, I should've said anything" she mumbled before walking out of the cottage house.
I stare at the door wide eyed for a few moments. I wasn't smitten over Ron, she was just saying that to herself out of the wrong.
She needs to get her head out of the fucking gutter.
But I'm not going to let this altercation ruin my trip. I pushed what just happened out of my head and was now on my way to see where Badeea went.
