Teachers pt.2
As Harry landed at his next destination he was faced with a dark skinned woman wearing a lot of bright colours. Harry thought that learning German and astrology would be interesting if this is his teacher.
"Hello, I am Harry... Who are you?"
"Ah, apologies. I do not usually have new people to teach. My name is Heidi. Please follow me and we can get you settled in before we start training."
Harry had a lot of time to read at Heidi's, he did learn a fair bit about astrology and could understand how centaurs talk as well as understanding German although he was better at French. Harry talked with Forsest and updated him on the progress he made, Forsest suggested that they talk in German to help Harry improve. Harry continued his studing his french rune books and could confidently draw many runes although he rarely used them at Heidi's. Being at Heidi's for so long Harry started becoming nocturnal which lead to him appreciating the beauty of the night. Harry still found Heidi odd in her bright colours but she did teach him some more about the traditions of noble houses in other magic communities, as well as teaching him how to properly write with a quill after having a laugh at it.
A couple months later Harry learnt more from Heidi but was due to move on to Australia to learn about some Elemental magic and Parseltongue abilities.
"Goodbye Harry. Remember that the stars watch over you, look to them for warnings."
"Thank you Heidi, I will."
As Harry touched down in Australia he heard something hissing wildly about fresh meat, with concern on his face he looked wildly around before finally settling on a snake staring at him.
"Oh hey man, welcome! Don't mind the little one. If you wanna follow me this way we can head back to the house and pop ya stuff down." A man said suddenly appearing behind Harry.
"That would be good, thank you."
"No need to be so formal 'round here mate. I'm Seth and that snake there is Key."
"I'm Harry, nice to meet you."
"Right, well follow me."
As they walked Harry did notice a lot of plants and some snakes as well as the humidity. By the time they got to the house Harry was sweating.
"Here we are mate, I have the room on the second floor at the end of the hall. You can take any of the others. Word of advice, look at the weather and wear somethin' fitting."
As Harry settled in he found the weather uncomfortable but the snakes and language interesting, it helped him become more relaxed and even started to help build his Occlumency skills up. Harry was glad that he had swimming lessons from Seth so he could deal with the heat and have something to do whilst practicing Occlumency. With Seth's help Harry found himself becoming good at not only Parselmagic but Wandless and even some wordless magic. He also found that he built his magic to be stronger the more range he used.
A few months after Harry settled in Seth took him to a ceremony from the Aboriginal tribe in the area. This is the time he would start discovering his elemental magic. As the ceremony progressed Harry found he could feel the magic building in the air, it was interesting for him to watch and feel as he had mever experienced anything like this before.
"Harry, come meet Elder Jarrah. Elder Jarrah meet Harry, he is the one who wishes to learn Elemental magic. He is from England."
"Nice to meet you Harry. Come closer and pick up the leaves from this bowl which call to you."
Harry walked closer and picked up several leaves.
"Interesting, most would suggest that they are opposites but they are connected together. You have chosen a heavy earth and air base but have some potential to learn the other elements as many do."
"Thank you Elder Jarrah. Come on Harry, we should enjoy the rest of the ceremony."
Harry started his Elemental training with Elder Jarrah and some people who specialise in air and earth elements. Harry found the training interesting but felt more connected to the flora and fauna around him, Elder Jarrah suggested that he may eventually pearn more creature tongues if he keeps practicing.
Harry had stayed in Australia for many months and had trained in many different things, he now had his next portkey to catch and was thankful he had gotten the hang of them. At the end of his stay with Seth Harry had been travelling for around 18 months and was excited to continue but he did not have much left, just America left where he would learn more basic subjects and Japan where he would learn martial arts and other fighting styles.
