Amortentia
We started to walk to potions class. Through the halls. I loved looking at the paintings. They were so unique. I had always gone to Hogwarts but I could never get over how beautiful it was. It had always felt safe like my second home and it was.
“So aren't you sooooo excited,” livie said sarcastically.
“Oh ya for sure” us three replied in the same sarcastic tone.
“I wonder what we are doing today,” Sky questioned.
“I heard we were doing Amortentia from some of the Hufflepuff students,” Emily told us.
“I don't even know what I'm gonna smell,” I announced.
“I hope Enzo smells me,” Sky said with dreamy eyes.
“I hope Draco smells me,” Emily said.
“I hope Tom smells me,” Livie said.
“Oh my gosh you guys are obsessed” I laughed out.
“Well who do you wanna smell Ellie” Livie asked me.
“No one I don't really care, unless it's someone I hate like” I tried to finish.
“Mattheo!” They all yelled in unison.
“Ugh gag i will literally kill myself if i smell him” I yelled.
We all started laughing as we entered the class room.
“What's so amusing to you four?” Snape scowled.
“Nothing” we all said and ran swiftly to our seats.
“Ok everyone today we will be learning about amortentia. Does anybody know what this potion is” Snape questioned the class
Herminoe of course shot her hand up.
“Yes Miss. Granger” Snape nodded to her.
“This is amortentia, the most powerful love potion in the world. It's rumored to smell differently to each person according to what attracts them” explained Hermione.
“For example I smell freshly mown grass, and new parchment, and spearmint toothpaste.” Hermione stated looking a bit flustered.
“That is correct Miss. Granger” Snape said.
“So class everyone is gonna get a chance to smell. Who would like to go now, how about you Mr. Malfoy” Snape said, looking at draco.
“Um sure,” Draco said.
“i smell Strawberries, roses, and ocean air,'' Draco stated looking over at me and emily.
Emily gave me a dirty look. To be honest the description sounds like both of us. I love strawberries and wear strawberry body spray. My favorite flowers are roses and used rose scented products in the shower, and I love the beach. Emily loved strawberries equally and wore rose body spray. She uses rose products in the shower too and whenever I went to the beach Emily did too because she also loved it. I had no idea which one of us he was smelling but I hoped it was Emily. I gave her the *don't look at me like that* look. four more people went then it was Skys turn she of course smelt Oliver. All Skys wishes came true when he described the scent as daisies, wet earth, and cake. Em went and smelled Dior Sauvage cologne, peppermint, and apples. I hope I smell something different or she will kill me. Olivia then went and smelled cigarettes, fire whiskey, and a damp earthy smell. When Tom went she was pleased to know he smelt cinnamon, perfume, and the dungeons. Everyone got what they wanted now it was my turn.
“Miss.Morcot come up here it's your turn” Snape yelled.
“Yes professor” I respond walking up to the potion.
I dreaded this moment. I dreaded what I was about to smell. Whatever it was and in all honesty I didn't want to smell anything.
“I smell Dior Sauvage cologne, peppermint, and cigarettes,” I said.
My eyes shot up to meet mattheos he was the only boy in Hogwarts that I knew smoked. Well tom did smoke too and draco started recently after tom got him into it. So really it could be any of them. Wait, Tom didn't wear dior sauvage, only Draco and Mattheo. I walked back to my seat and couldn't even look Emily in the eyes. She probably thought I loved Draco and would hate me.
“Cigarettes?’ She nodded over to mattheo and draco.
“It's not draco i swear i don't love him in that way you know that” I quickly said.
“I know but he might love you in that way. You heard what he said Strawberries, roses, and the ocean breeze. That describes both of us so he could in all truth be in love with you” Emily said with her head down.
‘’Oh Em” i said, hugging her.
“It's ok ellie if he does love you that's not your fault and i don't blame you dont worry” she said hugging me back.
“He doesn't though he can't, I don't want him to” I pleaded.
“Miss.Morct Miss.Riddle if your going to cry you can do it in detention. 10 points from slytherin” Snape yelled at us.
We quickly ran out to the Lavatory. We made it and I broke down.
“Im sorry im so so sorry” I cried.
“No it's ok Ellie” She reusered me.
I felt so bad and had no idea what was gonna happen.

(Draco's POV)
She ran out of the classroom and now I didn't see a reason to be here. Honestly the only reason I slightly enjoyed this class was because I got to see her. Ella has been my best friend since we were 5. She knew me and she got me like no one else did. Her running out crying was not a sign she felt the same way. I needed to find her and explain. I felt so bad I never wanted her to find out like this.
“Mr.Malfoy pay attention stop staring into space. 5 points from Slytherin” Snape scowled at me.
I tried to focus but I couldn't. I needed to get out of class. I Stared at the wall again.
“Mr.Malfoy what did I say? Another 5 points for slytherin and detention” Snape shouted.
I got up and walked out until I heard soft whimpers coming from the girls' lavatory. I walked right past it and heard Ellie's voice.
“Im sorry im so so sorry” I heard Ellie cry out.
“No it's ok Ellie” I heard Emily reusereing.
I felt horrible but what more could I do. I Wanted to run in and hug Ellie and hold her but I couldn't. So instead I just walked to detention.

“Come on Ellie, we have to go to detention,” Em told me.
“Ok,” I said back.
I washed my face up and we started walking.
