detention
Down the halls once we finally got there I almost broke down. Draco was sitting right there. Emily saw my drop as I started to shake.
“Come on Ella,” she whispered, walking over to a seat.
“I can’t- need in- hal- er- can- t- breathe” I said having a asthma/panic attack.
“Here Here” she grabbed the inhaler out of my pocket.
She put it in my mouth and pushed down the button. I inhaled so I could finally breathe. I looked over to see everyone in detention staring at me. And while my lungs were trying to kill me. I didn't realize Mattheo had walked in. When he noticed I looked at him he just glared back at me. I could feel eyes staring at me like a laser. I knew it was draco. I slowly turned around. what i saw weren't cold dark eyes. The eyes I stared back at had a certain softness to them. At that moment I wanted to hug him. Not because I was in love with him but because I loved him. As my best friend, as my brother as everything. In the end I loved him like that but I know he felt more. Even though I didn't.
“Come on Ellie, just sit down,” Emily told me.
“Ok” I said shakily, turning back to face Em.
“Just wait we only have a hour left of detention” She said
“Ok” I said, shaking.
I sat down in my seat next to emily. Doodling because that's all you really could do in detention. The whole time I felt 2 pairs of eyes staring at me. I knew it was Mattheo and draco. Emily looked over at me. And mouthed something her face had worry written across it. Right as I was able to make out what she said. I heard a bang. I rapidly turned my head to see what was going on. What I saw was Draco And Mattheo fighting each other. Spells were flying everywhere. Me and Emily ran to hide behind some desks.
I asked Emily “What's going on!”
“That's what I was trying to say,” Em replied.
“What were you trying to say though?” I said back.
“I was saying I think they're about to fight,” she replied.
“Oh” I said.
“Yeah” she whispered.
“Do you know why they're fighting?” I said looking over at them.
“No, I just saw them staring at each other and they did not look happy. Then they started getting up when I started trying to tell you” Emily explained.
During Emily's conversation, I heard the faint sound of my name.
“Ellie doesn't like you get over yourself” I heard Draco say.
Mattheo replied, "Ella doesn't like you either stupid."
“Well, she likes me more than the bitch that bullies her 24/7!” Draco shouted
I just sat there in disbelief they were fighting over me really. Why me.. Why me.
“Looks like someone has a crush on you,” said em smirking.
Just then sky walked in and heard them yelling. She ran over to them trying to pull them apart. Draco let go.
“What are you doing!” sky shouted
“Nothing” he grunted letting go of Mattheo.
“Oh nothing mhm sure,” sky said in a condescending tone.
“Ok class you may leave,” said the teacher.
“And what the fuck was that for” I yelled quietly.
