Severus and Lucius
Remus forced himself to look away when he saw Lucius Malfoy lean in and give Severus a kiss.
The three of them were in the library. He and Severus were sitting at a table together studying, just like they had been doing for all of September. Lucius had just come into the library to talk to Severus for a couple minutes, which he did. They had just said their goodbyes when Lucius kissed Severus, a not-uncommon event. Then, Lucius walked away, and out the library doors.
As soon as the blonde was gone, Severus turned back to his homework as if nothing had happened.
"Why do you two kiss so much?" Remus hadn't meant to say that, but it was too late to take it back now.
"Um, last time I checked I can kiss whoever I want." Severus replied. But, it wasn't with the venomous tone you might expect. He just sounded confused.
"Yeah, of course! I just meant....Like, are you two dating?"
Severus gave him a blank stare. "Um, no." It sounded like a question.
"Then why do you kiss?"
"....Because we want to." Another statement that sounded like a question.
"Ah....Okay." Remus said before lowering his head to hide his blush.
Well, at least Severus was single.
