Roses
"I'm starting to think Lockhart has a crush on James." Remus said suddenly making Severus look up.
Looking back at his book Severus replied "He probably does.".
Remus laughed, and nodded, but then said "But, isn't he straight.".
Severus started laughing, hard.
"Gilderoy Lockhart, straight? Yeah, right."
"He's not?"
"No, love. He's bi. Pretty open about it, surprised you didn't know."
"Well, I try to avoid him, and all information about him, as much as possible."
"Fair, but yeah, he's bi. We used to date."
"You did?!"
"Yeah, fourth year. For like a month."
"You, Severus Snape, and Gilderoy Lockhart dated?!"
"Yes, it sucked."
"Did it?"
"Yeah, he was a horrible kisser, plus he kept giving me roses."
"But, you hate roses."
"I know."
"Did he not care?"
"I guess not. He wanted some made for T.V. hallmark movie love story. But, that isn't how reality works. And it definitely isn't how I work."
Laughing again Remus said "Crazy.".
"Yeah."
And with that the two boys sunk back into silence, slightly more amused(and annoyed at Lockhart).
