A year and two month time skip
It was two months since Harry and Hermione's engagement (or at least would be tomorrow) and also happened to be Harry's 19th birthday. The couple were sitting in their bedroom talking, soon to start preparing for bed when Hermione brought up a topic they had mostly been avoiding.
"Harry, I know according to the plan we still have about two months before we have to start trying for a baby, however I was thinking we start now. I mean the out come doesn't actually need to be pregnancy yet, but we might want to start. I am of course comfortable with it or else I wouldn't be asking, however if your not ready yet just say. We don't have to if you don't want to, not yet anyway."
The other young adult thought for a moment before saying "no I am ready, I think. So do you want to start now, later, or wait a few days?"
"Now, I guess, I mean if were both ready then there is no reason to wait."

The two nineteen year olds lay curled up together under the blanket. Both to tired to do anything but cuddle the other.
They looked at each other and both knew that despite everything that had happened, despite the fact they had a lot of control taken from them, they were still lucky, and glad, that they had ended up together.
