You were now 9 months pregnant and your due date was soon
James and you moved into a mansion your parents gave you both
James's parents were happy to hear James is back with you and happy
They honestly loved you, and oh James's mother has been over so much to help James set up the nursery for this little one
"You like it?" James asks as he uncovered your eyes and you smile "I did gender-neutral colours, and light blue because blue is a calming colour and I want the baby to feel calm." James says and you smile as you kiss his cheek
"I love it thanks, and tell your mother thanks." You say and James nods
"Well I'll thank your parents for this house and my new job, like I'm higher than Malfoy I love how I'm basically his boss, it feels amazing how he gotta suck up to me," James says and you chuckle
"Does it also feel nice to know our house is bigger than his?" You say and James nods
"Oh yes definitely," James says and you and James freed all yore house elves but employed them to work here, you both pay them
Because you both agree it's wrong and its slavery and you and James won't have it in your own house
So you and James hire house-elves that were thrown out of houses now
You grip James suddenly as you gasp and he looks over-worried
"Darling?" He asks and you look at him and smile
"My water broke." You say and James gasps and quickly got your bag of stuff and helped you walk
Which when you got to the hospital immediately when you were seen you were brought to a room immediately
And healers were immediately here to help you
James walks in and they stop shocked as James grabs a chair and sits beside you
"It's gonna be ok darling, I won't leave you," James says and you nod as you lean into his hand as he caressed your cheek
"Thank you." You say as your mother and James's mother both apparate into the room
"How's y/n James?" His mother asks and James looks over as your mom was shocked but saw how calm you were so she didn't say anything
"She's fine." James says as he kisses your forehead
But after 20 minutes Lucius's mother walks in she must have heard somehow
She glares at James and tells him to get out
"He's staying." You say and she was shocked and disgusted
"Yeah I'm staying I'm not leaving y/n when she needs me." James says as Lucius's mom turns to James's mother
"You don't need to be here it's the grandmothers only." She says giving a passive aggressive smile to James's mother
"And my son is with y/n they will be raising the baby together, so I count Nora now why don't you shut up before I hex you again." Euphemia says and James chuckles
"Hey I plan on marrying y/n so I'll be step dad." James says as he kisses your cheek as you smile

You were laying in the hospital bed tired as James was sitting beside you as you hold a little girl in your arms
It took almost 8 hours to finally give birth
"She's beautiful she has your eyes." James says as Lucius walks in
"Well let's hope our future kid doesn't get your eyesight." You say and James laughs
"Well how about my trouble making?" James asks and you sigh
"Oh no two James's I can only handle one." You say as Lucius clears his throat and James glares
"Leave." James says and Lucius shakes his head
"I'm here to see my daughter." He says and James holds her tightly to his chest protectively
"Why would I let a death eater touch her." James says as Lucius walks over and James pulls out his wand "Your not touching her you can look but that's it." James says and Lucius doesn't listen and tries to take her out of his arms
Which didn't work
"Sorry your not her father so I won't listen to you." Lucius says and James hands her to you so Lucius then can't touch her
"How about me then, James is right don't touch my child." You say as you pull your shirt down and let the little girl eat
Lucius frowns
"I can hold my child if I want." He says and you glare at him as you just focus on the little girl
"She's eating so no." You say as James smiles at her
"Your gonna be my little pranking buddy isn't that right my little fawn." James says and you smile you knew why he called her fawn and you think it suits her
"How about that's her name fawn or maybe fauna? What do you think love?" You ask and James nods but Lucius didn't approve
"I love fawn, because a fawn is a baby deer it's perfect." James says and you nod
"No." He says and James rolls his eyes
"It's y/ns choice she's the mother." James says and Lucius didn't agree
"The father chooses the name." Lucius says and James shrugs
"Not how we do it and y/n is with me now so shut the fuck up." James says as fawn yawned and James rubs her little back 'I am so proud of y/n she did so well during this, I am so so proud of her.'
