Chapter 22
You were in your bed as James was beside you as you hold little fawn
You and James didn't say just well her last name is potter but you can't say it publicly until you both married
So she has to go by Malfoy by everyone until James marries you
But you decided you'd try and fight for Lucius to lose his rights said he's a death eater and that Voldemort goes to his house for meetings
And well Lucius's arm did have the dark mark
He didn't have time to hide it before this court started
Lucius started spewing lies out of his mouth, and you were too shocked to not say they aren't true
Like he had to his pregnant fiancée was being threatened he had to become one to protect you, which they believed it and he didn't get sent to Azkaban
They couldn't completely take his rights away because his lie convinced them, but he can only see his daughter under supervised visits
Which is nice
You and James were definitely happy to hear that
It's not quite what you both wanted but its enough
And enough for her last name to be changed to potter and James to be recognized as her father without having to marry you
So she only publicly had to have the last name malfoy for about three weeks since she was born, but it changed to potter now
If it wasn't for James making friends with the people around his office who are far more powerful than Lucius's friends
Then you may have completely lost fawn
But your father and James helped a lot with convincing
Today you walk to James's office with fawn in your arms
And then you see James asleep and laugh
You walk over and wake him up
"James sleeping at work." You say and he looks over and smiles and takes fawn from you
"Hey babies make you lose sleep, so of course, I fell asleep, I stayed up half the night with her." James says and you nod he did that because he wanted you to catch up on as much sleep as you can "Hey pretty girl." James says tickling fawns cheek which made her giggle
"Well I had to come and see my father so after I talked to him I've come to see you." You say and James smiles
"Well I'm glad you did I like seeing the two most beautiful girls ever." James says and you kiss his cheek
"Keep up with the compliments please." You say and James nods
"Oh anything for you." James says as fawn hiccuped and James rubs her back "Oh sweetie you ok?" James asks as he kisses the top of her head
"Well I think we've done enough of distracting you." You say and James laughs
"Hey distract me more." James says and you smirk at him which he smirks wondering what you are thinking
"Actually no I shouldn't flash you my breast." You say and James frowns
"Oh please do." James says and you laugh
"I'll see you at home." You say and James sighs disappointed
'I love y/n and fawn so much I just always wanna be home with them, but now I got a job that's not fighting in the order, which I'm still doing obviously that's not gonna stop, I have even more to fight for now.'
