Cherry
The following days at Eden's Garden Academy have been really great for Eva since Diana presented her to students that would really appreciate her as a person. Grace and Wolfgang keep their opinions about the Mathlete, but why would she care about what they think now?
She could spend the day talking to Damon about her scientific research, join in on Kai's live and receive some cute greetings from the boy, help out Ingrid with laundry or even call Cassidy to play something to forget about school for a little while. Eva was now surrounded by people, which was a bit suffocating, but she was never so happy in her life for having friends who look out for her.
Though the girl will always be grateful for everyone, she had to say Diana was the most complicated for her to understand. How could someone be so lovely and happy all the time? She would give Eva the most beautiful look of all time, praising her for whatever reason it could be.
"You did so well, Eva!", "Wow, you're truly amazing... I could never be this smart.", "Hehe, you look so cute talking about things other than school stuff."
Compliments from Diana seemed so sincere and yet so fake at the same time. Like if she felt pity of her, like if it was necessary to praise her so she would think she can trust the other. Eva couldn't understand it, was Diana saying it because she liked her, or because she was selfish and feel like she just *has* to be nice?
These thoughts keep the Mathlete awake during the night, which leads to one more doubt: why would she care if Diana was being selfish or not? The Cosmetologist helped her a lot already, they were friends, nothing more, so it shouldn't be a big deal to worry about.
That's when Eva realized it. She didn't wanted only Diana's friendship, she craved for something more.
God... I guess i have no right to call Diana selfish.

"Hey, Eva! Cassidy wanted us to go to her dorm tonight, you know, play some games and drink a bit. What do you think?" the pink haired looks up to the top bunk, calling the other.
It was nothing but a saturday afternoon, yet Diana was all energetic and excited as always.
"Hm? Didn't take you for a person who likes alcohol." Eva responds, getting closer to the edge of the bed to see Diana.
"Ah, I'm not the type to get drunk, but i sure like tasting new drinks! Kai is gonna be there, so I'm sure he will make some for everyone."
"Who else is going?"
"Umm, i believe Jett, Mark and Damon also, you know the ones who likes the videogames. I'm really not good at them, but i wanna see you winning!!"
Again with her usual compliments towards Eva. This was making the mathlete really mad already, just by how friendly they look. Does Diana wants to be friendly because she cares for Eva or for herself? Either way, 'friendly' is still not what Eva wants them to be, so it makes her head ache no matter what answer it is.
"Oh, yeah! I know we are just going to another dorm and all but I've wanted to do this for a little while..." Diana starts messing around her dressing tables, taking lots of make-up equipment related.
"Could i perhaps get your make up done? Pleaase??"
"As long as its nothing exaggerated, like eyeshadows, it's fine by me." Eva says as she gets down from her bed.
"Yay! Alright, sit down my dearest client.~"
The black haired girl sat on the chair in front of the other girl. The Cosmetologist kindly take Eva's glasses off and gets a bit of her hair behind her ears.
"Your bangs are very cute, but we are going to take them off our way!" She says as she puts on a bow headband on the other, making her forehead completely exposed.
"I probably look stupid with this on."
"Aw, of course not, it's silly but you still look cute whatsoever!"
This again.
Stop praising me like if you mean those words. She thinks.
Eva didn't know if she was mad, confused or embarrassed. The girl was really close to her face right now, and giving her a look she sees for the first time. The pink haired was concentrated, brows slightly furrowed as she applies concealer over Eva's dark circles.
Diana's mind is not so different, she was trying her best not to look nervous while watching the Mathlete so closely. She had also realized it, she realized that she wanted to kiss Eva right now.
"U-um, you should probably close your eyes, this eye contact is a little embarrassing to me, haha!"
Please god don't make me look stupid! Don't blush Diana!
"Oh, okay." Eva do as she says.
The Cosmetologist had covered most of the spots Eva had on her skin with concealer, then added a reddish pigmentation to the other girl's cheeks.
"Alright, now open your eyes so i can put on some mascara."
She carefully brush the other girl's eyelashes with mascara. At each makeup step, Diana was surprising herself with how more beautiful Eva could look like. Diana was making sure to keep composed as she helped out the Mathlete with her makeup, but that was until she had to apply products on the other's lips.
She grabbed Eva's chin with her thumb, and she part her lips almost immediately. As Diana was applying the lipgloss, she was involuntarily getting closer to the other, looking closer at her cute mouth. She applied a bit outside her lips, and used her finger to touch softly on her face to fix it.
"Diana."
"WAH-! God, sorry i was, uhm, really concentrated." The girl nearly jumped away from Eva.
The Mathlete licks her lips. "Hm, cherry flavoured."

"Yo! Diana and Eva, hey!!" Cassidy happily greets the girls as they enter her dorm.
The girls were acting as usual with everyone else, but there was an awkward silence in their dorm after she done Eva's makeup and started to do her own. Both of them realized that there was some tension that has to be solved one day. But well, today was not the day, so they shouldn't worry about it!
"Oh, hi Diana. I didn't know you played videogames." Mark greeted the girl.
"Ah, yeah I'm not going to play anything, but i wanted to come by either way!" She happily responded.
"Me neither, Jett forced me to come."
"Hey! I didn't forced you, i just asked until you accept to come." Jett (tries to) defends himself.
"Sounds like you forced him." Eva says.
A sound of relief was heard from Damon, who was sitting next to Kai in from of the television, displaying the Super Slam Sisters game.
"Aw man, I can't believe i just lost to you." Kai comments, discredited.
"Skill issues. Who is fighting me now?" The blonds boy asks out.
"May I?" Eva asked, timid, but somehow still excited.
"If you think you can win, i guess." Damon says, purposely challenging her.
"Hmph." Eva sits right next to Damon and grabs the controller to play against him.
"Hey Diana, i make a drink for you, cause i knew you'd ask." Kai sits down on the bed next to the pink haired girl, offering her a glass.
"Oh thank you, Kai! Which flavour?"
"It's a mix of strawberries, cherries and just a bit of gin. Just how you like it."
"Cherries, ah..." Her face immediately flushes as she drinks what her friend prepared her. "K-Kai, I, um, think I'm liking someone." Diana whispers, even though the game and chatting are loud so the others wouldn't notice anyway.
"But you like everyo- Wait, wait, you mean romantically?"
"Y-yeah." She doesn't look at Kai, embarrassed.
"Oh~ Though you said 'think', like, are you not sure if you like that person yet?"
"That's because it's a girl. I've never had thoughts about girls before, just in a way of admiration for them, i never thought about kissing a girl. Until..."
Kai was already with a huge smirk on his face. "Heheh, The Mathlete?"
"S-shut it, so what's if it's her!?" Diana scream-whispered, her face coloured in pink.
"Nothing, nothing. But do you think she might like you back?"
Diana's eyes widens at his statement, she really didn't considered that. "I'm not sure, I don't think she has any special comportment towards me. I'm always the one who takes her to hang out anyway."
"K.O.!"
"Loser." Eva says, smiling.
"Ngh, It's just a game, you don't have to be immature." Damon responds, obviously with his ego hurt, leaving his seat for Jett to play the next round.
The blonde approaches to Kai and Diana, siting next to the girl. "Kai, is there still more of these drinks you made? You can bring me any."
"Yep, sure man, i will be right back." He says as he ran to the corner of the room, messing with his thermal bag to grab more refreshments.
"Thanks." Damon drinks from the glass he received.
"Ah, and Damon can know too, b-but you will have to explain instead." Diana confesses, blushing.
"Oh yeah Damon, she has a crush on Eva and doesn't know if she likes her back." Kai bluntly says.
"Huh, Really? That's interesting, i was talking with Eva about Diana some days ago."
"WHAT?!" Both Kai and Diana said in unison.
"W-what about me exactly...?"
"We were talking about your personality in general, how you are cheerful all the time and stuff. She was the one who started it, confused about what are your intentions with each people you know."
"That sounds like the type of thing Eva would say." Diana frowns.
"I think it's a good thing though, means she wants to understand you, right?" Kai comments.
"Agreed. If you have any doubts about how Eva thinks of you, you should try asking her that. I think she wouldn't relate it to a possible 'romantic' feeling." Damon says.
"Ah, thank you so much boys..." Diana offers them a shy smile.
Asking Eva what she thinks of me...
Little did Diana knows what kind of storm she would found as a response. What kind of deep thoughts Eva had for her roommate.
