Our refuge called home
"Who are you and how dare you enter the premises of this school, you don't know who I am and Albus Dumbledore himself is going to expel you, torture you, or worse!"
"Shut up Filch, now let me through!"
Gayle crouched down to where Harry lay and noticed a faint pulse with absent breathing. He was surprised at how pale Harry looked and without hesitation administered a dose of epinephrine.
Although Filch still didn't understand who or what was happening he rushed off to find the Headmaster, he wasn't going to take the blame for killing the spoilt Potter boy.
"Come on champ, I know you can do it, breath, come on..." Gayle summoned another air source to perform some lung resuscitation.
"Is he going to be ok?" Ron firmly believed he must be Harry's pediatrician and was crying in fear for the first time in a long time.
"Of course Ron, Harry would never leave us.
"If he dies, it's my fault, it's my fault, he's my friend... if he dies who else will be my best friend? I'm going to be expelled forever."
"RON!"
"I'm going to be killed, I'm going to be expelled from the magical world, I'll be sentenced to Azkaban for a thousand years, I'll never be able to see my brothers again." Ron went on with his endless list of things that kept Gayle from focusing his attention on Harry.
"Calm down for a second! I need you to calm down, take a breath, Harry is not going to die, now I need you to run to Madame Pompeii and tell her I'm on my way there."
"I'm sorry" Ron in shock just ran to the infirmary hoping it would lessen his sentence for killing the savior of the magical world.
Harry coughed loudly trying to dislodge all the mucus that was forming in the bottom of his lungs and throat that wouldn't let him breathe.
"Come on boy, you're doing great."
He knew that voice...
"Doctor."
"Don't talk, I'm here, everything is fine, everything will be fine.
"I love daddy"
"I know boy, I know. He'll be here soon."
Gayle carried him as she ran quickly to the infirmary. This had been a tough one, but thanks to the medication schedule it only took some epi to get the boy out of the bottom of the situation. However, it would cost him a good few days of medical supervision with Poppy.
