Beatrice
It was Saturday June 3rd 2000 and Felix and Alexi were standing in front of the door.
"Are you excited for your play date?"
Alexi was practically jumping when he said "Yes! I can't wait to see Beatrice again!"
"Who's Beatrice? I thought you was playing with Caleb?"
"Daddy, her name is Beatrice now. You can't call her by her old name, it's mean!" The five year old said indignantly.
"Wait. Is Beatrice trans?"
"Yes. So?"
"I didn't know."
Before the conversation could continue Felix opened the door having heard a knock.
Once the door was open Beatrice ran in and hugged Alexi(after asking first). She was wearing a matching dress to Alexi (a pink party dress) and had her blonde hair in a side ponytail.
"Hello, Beatrice, I didn't know you and Alexi would be matching today." Felix said once the hug was over having said hello to Bianca in the mean time.
"Hi, Uncle Felix, yeah me and Alexi wanted to look the same so mommy bought me this dress."
"That was nice of her."
"Mm-hmm." The girl said happily.
The two families chatted for a couple more minutes before Felix set the other three people off.
