cinema

Alright, entering the cinema had not been easy, Peter had thrown the tickets in the trash when they left the show and now the manager thought they just wanted to sneak in to see the next movie, which was completely ridiculous to Sirius, who had to flirt with the nice cashier to allow them entry.

- James! Hurry up mate, I'm starving. - Sirius whispered to his best friend, who was coming down the stairs in the dark while the next show was taking place, most of the onlookers there complained about James's cell phone flashlight, who tries to recreate his steps to find his old seat with the coveted jacket.

Sirius looked at the screen that now played "Anna Karenina", please, they don't want to sneak in to see that shit that was probably more to Regulus' taste than hers, they came from seeing "Cruella"! He prefers to leave those kinds of movies to his little brother, he sure would love this, the older Black remembered seeing the book in his room. He thought Sirius didn't know but of course his older brother knew about his sexuality and he definitely knew about the hiding place of all Regulus favorite books. In fact, Sirius knows his brother like the back of his hand, there was no detail that he missed, except this one.

- I got it!  - He heard James say in a voice louder than he should.

- Great, let's go before Peter eats our orders o Mary decides to put salt in our sodas. - Sirius patted his best friend on the back as he turned to go up the stairs and out of there. Of course he did not expect to see his brother there, well no, he certainly expected to find him there but not his companions; Lily was next to him looking attentively at the screen accompanied by Dorcas,
who watches Marlene while she caresses her girlfriend's hand, okay, he did not know that his brother knew the redhead and her friends and that was fine, he didn't have to meet all of his brother's friends, but he remembered Mary's words "what a small world". Great, he didn't want to face his little brother just yet and he definitely didn't want to be seen.

Sirius turned his face quickly to flee the place with James but his body collided with another, one much taller than his and that smelled of coconut and vanilla and that was definitely chocolate from the milkshake he carried in his hand. In a fleeting memory, James told him that this is the smell of Remus. A funny thought until he lifted his face to apologize and go on his way.

- Sorry for tha- The words remained in his throat, unable to come out, unable to form. He was in front of the damn Remus Lupin, the owner of his thoughts, who he daydreamed of since they started talking and with whom he dreamed at night since he saw his face and bloody hell, he had to admit it, the photos were definitely nothing compared to the beauty that the boy possessed in front of him.

Remus's face expressed surprise and panic, Sirius was sure his must be the same or worse since if the phrase "dying of love" was a metaphor he was turning it into a fact, his heart was beating so fast that he doubted his family's history of heart disease, his throat felt dry and his body could fall at any moment.

- Did you find the jacket? - Regulus watched him from his seat as the manager spoke in distinct annoyance.

- Yes, sir. -  James spoke like a soldier to his commander
and he was sure that in that instant Lily observed the pair, whatever, he couldn't know because he couldn't stop staring at Remus, Remus fucking Lupin, in front of him!

He felt James take his arm, dragging him towards the exit, away from Remus, Remus ... Remus Lupin ... who was there ... there just steps away from him looking absolutely gorgeous, standing on the fifth step of this horrible staircase, which had no right to be stepped on by him. Sirius definitely wanted to be the one with the right to anything from Remus.

His head was pumping, inside the living room Lily gave him a stern look, he could read it in her eyes. "Go for him". He doubted it for a second and ran carelessly towards the exit. Sirius was at the exit with a shocked face, while James spoke to him with concern.

-Sirius? - Remus watched him uncertainly from the door.

- Oi, didn't see you there. - Sirius watched him with a smile as he leaned against the manager's cart in an attempt to look cool. Of course he didn't look cool, he just fell off after the cart continued its way on the wheels.

- See you mate, good luck! - James patted Remus on the back as he tried not to laugh, failing in the attempt as he walked away from the place with his jacket in hand.
