kiss

They had been walking down the street for minutes, in silence. Sirius was never a person who enjoys silence. It was one of the fundamental rules of his house, if you did not want to abstain from the consequences, you had to remain silent, of course he always ended up facing consequences, James thought he was born with a natural disdain for rules and maybe he was right. But this was different.  It was night so the streets where they walked were almost deserted, Sirius could hear Remus breathing as in an unsubtle attempt, they brushed their hands, afraid of touching. It was calm.  It was like a breeze on a summer night.  It was like your best friend smiling at you after a mischief. It was like all the good moments of a wonderful life wrapped in a glance. Remus's glance. And, oh, his eyes were hazel, his hair was light brown, it was being disheveled by the gentle wind, it was inviting to caress closely, to take, to kiss. And his skin, oh, his skin. It was pale, seemed soft and Sirius wanted to touch him, God knows he wanted to touch him. Remus gently turned her face to him, smiling shyly.  The poor boy must have been feeling bullied at this point but, can you blame him?  He was simply too much to see.

- Can we see the lake from there? Since i got here i want to see it up close. - Remus was looking at him excitedly and Sirius could only think how lucky a man could be to see the flash of joy on Lupin's face.

- Sure Moony, anything for you. - Sirius took courage and brought his hand to the other boy's, taking it. And God, only God could tell if he was dead at that moment. The electricity traveled from the junction of his hands to his entire body. Sirius was fucking having too much.

With their hands clasped, Sirius pulled him towards the shores of the lake, they stopped to watch the water for a minute, without speaking, just enjoying the presence of the other. He wasn't sure if they were both being shy with each other or just that they should be, feeling so comfortable with each other's presence. But what Sirius was aware of was that he was falling in love with Remus Lupin, but again, can anyone blame him?

- You look beautiful tonight. - Remus broke the silence looking into his eyes.  And that was it.  Sirius didn't need anything else to follow his urges. His mother always said that his impulsiveness was one of his worst weaknesses. But he thought it was one of his greatest virtues, because if it weren't like that, he would not be kissing Remus fucking Lupin in front of the lake, forming a bubblegum and romantic scene. And his boy tasted like chocolate, and his lips danced in sync with his, as if they were destined to meet. Remus's hands rested on his hair, drawing him closer to him, as did Sirius's, laying on his back as they drew each other. Their hearts were jumping inside their bodies and their breaths were weary when they parted their lips. It was perfect, it wasn't even an awkward first kiss, it was perfect.  It was meant to happen.

Shy smiles and knowing glances accompanied the teens as they sat on the bench facing the lake. Their hands were still together as Remus rested his head on Sirius's shoulder. And they just couldn't believe it.
