Who says we lie to others?
The biggest lie and the most constant lie people tell is to themselves.
We lie to ourselves.
We drown in them. And eventually, when the truth hits them like an icy wind, they become desperate and paralyzed.
These were the things Lala kept telling herself.
She had lied to herself, she had lied to others, and she knew that no lie could stay hidden forever.
But she didn't stop. She continued. She told more lies to herself. She suppressed the feelings and thoughts that didn't match these lies.
But they were always there.
They came to her at night.
These thoughts and feelings had become a monster in her mind. But she continued.
To the point where she no longer knew what the truth could be. She had become confused several times.
This confusion had pushed her to the edge of killing herself, but she didn't want to die. So she finally imprisoned the monster in a room. But when the Valory Arch opened and she got what she wanted, that monster was also freed.
But it turned out that the lies that she thought it was a friend is actually her enemy!
That same false friend stabbed her at that time.
And the thing she had called a monster for years and had suppressed and imprisoned had kept her wound from festering and becoming infected when she was stabbed.
