Summary
When Malfoy insults Harry, Ron, and Hermione right at the beginning of their eighth year at Hogwarts, the boys decide to get back at him. What better way to crack the cold Slytherin than to break his heart?
Note
I had this idea in my head for a long time now, and I'm surprised how fast I wrote this. I absolutely love the storyline, I’m a sucker for revenge-romances. So, if you know any (preferably Drarry) that are like that, please comment! I’d like to read them.Disclaimer: I don't own the characters of this story. No copyright infringement is intended.

Epilogue

“But, what if he says ‘No’?” Harry asked, vibrating with nerves. “I hurt him pretty bad, back then."

“Mate. If Hermione could forgive and forget the whole event, then Draco can, too. You know how close they are, they are one of a kind.” Ron tried to reassure his friend. “And see, my wife” – Ron allowed himself the stupid, amorous smile he always got when he called Hermione his wife – “has it in good confidence that a certain blonde prat is waiting for a ring for ages.”

“Alright”, Harry said hesitantly, then a bit more confidently. “Alright. It’s going to be great.”

“Yeah, that’s the spirit!” Ron clapped Harry on the shoulder. “You know your line?” Harry nodded. “Brilliant. Now, go get him.” The red head shoved his friend into the Floo.

At the restaurant, Harry fiddled with his dress shirt as he approached the table he had reserved for today’s date with Draco. He patted his trousers for the small box he had put there earlier.

Draco was already seated, looking out of the window. The soft gleam of the candles coated his hair in a golden hue. He was breathtaking and Harry never ceased to wonder how he got so lucky to have him as boyfriend. Well, hopefully something more, soon.

Harry followed Draco's gaze and groaned internally when he saw fireworks sparkling in the night sky. He had instructed Seamus to launch the fireworks after he successfully proposed but he should have known better than to leave his friend in charge of anything fire-related.

Draco looked up when Harry seated himself opposite from him. The smile that spread across his face was full of love and adoration, and Harry completely forgot about the failed fireworks display. The blonde let his gaze travel appreciatively over the black-haired man. “You’ve dressed up tonight, darling” he purred. “New shirt?”

Now was the time, Harry thought. He smiled nervously, and asked “Do you know what my shirt is made of?”

Draco scrunched up his nose in irritation. “Silk, obviously.”

Harry stood up from his seat to kneel down in front of Draco. “Husband material.”

Then, he held out the ring.
