He didn't notice the ripples on the lake until he heard the voice. “Tom” the voice questioned. He looked up towards the source of the voice. The head of the giant Squid had come out of the water, staring at him, “Yes it's me, although I don't go by that name anymore more” he said. “I know but you will always be Tom to me” the squid said. He didn't respond. “You're here to kill him aren't you " The squid asked. He still didn't answer him. “You know you don't have to right” the squid told him. That made the his red eyes narrow. “If I don't kill the boy he will kill me” he sneered and turned around to leave. He stopped walking away when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Turning back around he saw purple eyes staring into his red ones “We could leave” the squid said. “Where could we go. Everyone wants me dead” he said. “I could turn you. You'd be a human land but you'd turn into a squid if you touch water like me” the squid told him

Everyone at Hogwarts was preparing for the attack that would soon happen. Unaware that at this moment the squid and Voldemort were preparing to leave.

Voldemort and the squid had successfully escaped and were now on the run. With the help of some transfiguration. They were living happily on an island away, from everyone and everything else. Until one time when they were lying on the beach a sword wielding maniac with a scar on his head apparated in to kill Voldemort. The squid was so enraged at the death of his loved one that he ate the sword wielding maniac whole. Destroying the last horcruxes and destroying the last and only chance the squid had to get his soulmate back.
The end
