Always

Ron had woken up early the next morning. Last night was perfect. I had never felt anything remotely close to the feeling of being with Ron. He was careful in removing himself from our bed, careful not to wake me. I grabbed his pillow and hugged it quickly in his absence, burying my face in it. I heard him walk to the bathroom and come back a few moments later. I had one leg stretched out, my foot slightly hanging off the bed, the other was tucked up close to my waist. My face was still buried in his pillow, my hair falling out of my bun.

“Kat, my love”, he whispered, kissing my cheek.

“Mmm, come back to bed”, I groaned, not opening my eyes.

“I have to go, my love. Early morning meeting with the guys at the shop. The holidays are coming up”. I sat up, rubbing my eyes. I noticed that my body was still glowing slightly. I smiled at that.

“We’re still glowing a little”, he said in awe. He was so handsome standing there, looking at me like he’s never seen anything more beautiful.

“Well, probably because I’m so madly in love”, I joked. He kissed me gently.

“You know, you sleep like a fish out of water. You flop around everywhere”, he laughed at me.

“And yet… you still sleep with me”. I grinned wide at him.

“Well, probably because I’m so madly in love”, he joked, mimicking my words from earlier. I threw my pillow at him, but he dodged out of the way.

“I’ll see you after the meeting, okay?”, he asked.

“You better. I’ve got some things I’d like to do again”, I grinned at me. He kissed me again and headed out to go to the joke shop. I knew the twins and him were working on some great gifts for Christmas. I sat in the pile of blankets in bed after Ron left. No use going back to bed now. I grabbed my phone from the night table next to me.

Me: Good Morning. Want to grab breakfast?

Ginny: Do you have anything exciting to tell us?

Me: Maybe…

Hermione: YES!

Ginny: YES!

Kacey: YES!

I laughed at how quickly they both responded after that. Of course, they would want the details. We agreed to go to our favorite diner in town. I climbed out of bed and went to wash my face and brush my teeth. I dressed casually in a pair of black skinny jeans and a red form fitting sweater. I used my magic to glamour some light makeup on my face. My glow was still steadily there, so I decided to keep it as light as possible. apparated to the alley between the diner and the book shop next door. I found my friends at a table in the back and sat down to join them.

“Well?”, Hermione asked. I grinned at the girls across from me.

“We had sex!”, I kind of shouted and then ducked and covered my mouth as people sent glares our way. They finally must have gotten a good look at me because they both suddenly gasped.

“Katie…” Hermione started.

“You’re… glowing” Ginny finished for her.

“Oh… um… yeah… uh… we both have been that way since last night. While we were having sex, Ron… he told me that he loved me!”, I smiled at the memory. Everything about last night was perfect. I filled them in on last night, leaving out some key details to spare Ginny. After eating we went back to Hermione’s house to chat and hang out for a while. Draco came walking in the living room after a while, Theo in tow.

“Oh. Hi. I was looking for Blaise”, Draco said, standing awkwardly.

“Oh. He had to go to his shop this morning. He should be home soon; do you want to wait?” Hermione asked him, smiling.

“Yeah, sure”, he said, sitting down on the chair across from me. I pulled out my phone to send a quick text to Ron.

Me: Draco showed up and Hermione’s looking for Blaise. Do you want me to leave? Hermione and Ginny are here with me.

Boyfriend <3: Kat, I told you, you don’t need to ask. Of course, you can stay. Love you beautiful.

Me: Love you too handsome

I was smiling at my phone when I heard someone clear their throat, making me look up.

“Hmm? What? Sorry”, I said quickly.

“And what has you so smiley?” Theo asked, but then he got a good look at me and paused. “You’re glowing!”, Theo said.

“You… you and Ron… congratulations. I’m happy for you. You’ve been in love with him forever”, Draco added. His face was hard to read. He didn’t look unhappy, but he looked confused. I chose to ignore it for now. “Um, I was wondering if you guys would like to meet a girl I am seeing. I really like her. Do… Do you think we could all go on a date somewhere? Or maybe even, just have a game night here?” he asked a little shyly.

“Oh my gosh yes! Tell us all about her!” Hermione demanded. I smiled at him, if he wanted to bring her around, he must really like her. A little while later I looked at the time again on my phone and stood up.

“Ron is going to be home soon, so I am going to get going”, I said. I hugged the girls and promised to call them later. I waved bye to Draco and stepped through the floo to go home. Ron was sitting at the small kitchen table, we hardly ever used it. He had two subs sitting in front of him.

“I grabbed us lunch”, he grinned at me. “I got you your favorite sub at Subway”, he stood, kissing my head. “You look beautiful by the way”, he added, sitting back down.

“Sweet onion teriyaki?” I asked, sitting down, and placing my feet up on his lap under the table. We ate in a happy silence. Once I was finished, I told him about game night with everyone so we could meet Draco’s new girlfriend.

“I really hate Draco”, Ron said grumpily. I walked up to him and placed my arms around his neck.

“I know, but let’s not talk about him”. I kissed his neck in the spot right above his collar bone. It was a sensitive spot for him. I placed my hands up his shirt over his chest.

“I swear all you want to is snog me”, he smiled down at me.

“Hmm… not just snog”, I smirked at him. “I’m sorry my boyfriend is so damn attractive. I just can’t keep my hands or mouth to myself”, I said nibbling on his neck again.

Later, we headed back over to Hermione and Blaise’s. I brought a bottle of blush wine for us girls to drink, though I much preferred Jack Daniels over wine. We were the last to arrive. We joined everyone in the living room. A very beautiful girl with long brown hair and beautiful chocolate brown eyes, stood to introduce herself.

“Hello, I’m Angelle,” she said sweetly.

We spent the night, playing games, getting to know her. I found out that we liked the same type of books, we both got the same sub from Subway, and had much more in common. I was already very fond of her. If she made Draco happy, that was all that mattered to me. Draco pulled me aside for a moment before Ron and I left for the night.

“Angelle is having tea with my mother tomorrow. Would you… can you join them… like a buffer? Mother said you wanted to meet for tea anyway” he asked me.

“Of course! I really like her. She’s very sweet. Nice catch”, I nudged him and grabbed Ron’s hand, waving bye to the rest of our friends.

“What was that about?”, he asked once we got back in the car.

“He asked me to go to tea with Angelle and Narcissa”, I replied, squeezing his hand.

We had just gotten back home and already I had my mouth on Ron. He groaned in my ear, and I sucked the sensitive spot on his neck. He sat down on the couch, and placed me down on his lap, so that I was straddling him. He tucked a loose piece of hair behind my ear.

“You’re so fucking perfect Kat” he said making me blush.

“Shut up you liar and kiss me”, I responded. My mouth was on his before he could say more. He picked me up and made his way to our bedroom, our lips never breaking apart.
