Talks
Teddy was balanced on my leg coloring on a piece of paper as I sat with a Lawyer, the band, and the band’s management team. They were going over all legal terms, I was listening to all their words. Sirius and James however were not they were busy playing around. James had asked Lily to ask me to bring some more of my songs.
“We would really like to start recording as soon as possible,” Marlene said “What the band wanted to talk to you about is. If you agree to it. We know we’re asking a lot.”
“We would like it if we could use more of your songs on the album,” James said.
“Snivellus showed us some more Amazing songs which we assume you wrote,” Peter said.
“I don’t see why not. Just respect my wishes if I don’t want it out there don’t push,” I said.
“We absolutely understand,” Peter said. We talked over a few other legal matters before the band headed towards the recording booth.
“We should hang out soon and talk about the other songs,” Sirius said handing me a piece paper “that's Peter and my number. Lily has Jamie’s number just get his from her.” He took off towards where the rest of the band went. We decided to head back to the house to wait on Lil’s and Harry. I decided to send a text to Sirius and Peter each so they had my number as well.
“It’s all looking up for us Teddy,” I said.
“Dada,” he said holding his arms out towards Remus.
“I love you too buddy,” I said.
“Uncle Remus,” Harry said as he ran through the door “you didn’t pick me up.”
“I sent your mom,” I said.
“’s not the same,” he said.
“Jeeze never felt so unloved by my own kid,” Lily said.
“No mommy,” he said racing over to hug her “love you.”
“Love you too baby,” Lily said “how’d it go.” I then procced to tell her everything for the next hour.
“I should get going got to get to hell,” I said I bent down placing kisses on both Teddy’s and Harry’s Cheeks.
It was a very boring night as most Mondays are. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket multiple times. When I got home, I seen it was a group chat with the band. They were asking about a few songs that Snevelus had showed them. I sent them a saying that I could meet up with them tomorrow to talk about it. Andy had already said that she wanted to take Teddy to the zoo and Harry had school. With a confirmation I went back to my job. The next morning headed to where we were meeting up at a small Café.
“Remus we’re over here,” I heard a shout.
“Hey,” I said as I approached them “um so this is my notebook I’ll let you look through and I’ll veto if I’m not cool with you using.” I handed over to James and three of them start to look them over.
“These are really good Remus,” Sirius said he made eye contact with me.
“Thank you,” I said looking down at my hands.
