“Remus,” Lily said “This is a good thing love. Rem this was you dream before you had Teddy this was all you’ve ever use to talk about. What’s the problem love?”
“I know it’s all I ever have wanted,” I said.
“Is it Tonk’s,” she said.
“I wrote Check yes Juliet for her Lil’s I don’t think I’m ready for that to go out there yet,” I said.
“Well, we can ask them not to use that one love,” she said.
“I don’t know I'm just it’s such a big change,” I said “it’s all happening so fast.”
“Rem this is your dream go after it,” Lily said “you don’t have to use any songs about Tonks love. This will be great for you. You do so much for everyone else for once just do something for yourself.”
“Okay,” I said.
“Okay,” she questioned.
“Yeah, I’ll do it just not that song,” I replied.
“Yes, oh my god I’m so excited for you,” she said “Let’s go tell the guy's," She wrapped her arm in mine pulling me towards the Livingroom “guy’s I have news. Remus has agreed to let you use some of his songs.”
“Thank you so much,” James said.
“You don’t know how much this is going to means to us,” Sirius said.
“There’s a catch though,” I said.
“We’ll do whatever, none of us are good at writing lyric’s,” Peter said.
“You can’t use Check Yes Juliet,” I said.
“But why that one’s so good,” Sirius whined.
“Because I wrote it about my wife and its feel’s inappropriate for anyone to sing it but me,” I said.
“I’m sure Evans wouldn’t mind,” James said.
“Remus and I,” Lily said bursting out laughing.
“Hey am I not man enough for you Lil’s,” I said.
“No absolutely not Rems,” she said.
“My wife’s name was Dora she went to the hospital a few weeks after Teddy was born and,” I cut myself off “It’s just too soon. Lil’s and I are just two single parents living together.”
“I think that’s more than acceptable,” Peter said.
“So, you and Lily aren’t together,” James said.
“Absolutely not Potter,” Lily said.
“Mommy,” Harry yelled running to her “I’m sleepy.”
“I’ll take him I think you should talk to James,” I said “he needs to know I would want to know.”
“Harry why doesn’t Uncle Remus take you to bed mommy’s going to talk to her friend for a little bit,” Lily said “James I kind of need to talk to you alone outside.”
“Get her James,” Sirius said loudly.
