"Fight it Draco," Hermione sobbed, wand tight in her hand, as she watched him stalk toward her.
He rose his arm in response, eyes vacant as his Crucio sent her careening toward the ground. As he released his hold, Hermione fought for breath.
"Please don't make me do this, " she gasped, wiping away her tears.
Grey eyes met hers, but it wasn't those of the man she'd shared a bed with the past few months, these eyes were empty.
Before he could raise his wand the second time, she closed her eyes.
