Story idea's up for adoption [prompts]

Okay so we know the love potion/spell trope of people sneaking it to someone only for them to already be in love with the person the potion/spell would have made them love.

This is if it all goes horribly wrong.

Group of friends see's two of their friends SEEM to be pinning for each other and decide to help them out.

The two are made to fall in love and have...time together.

Friends are there to see when the spell/potion wares off.

One of the two turns incredibly pale and runs to puke and cry in the bathroom.

The other is horrified because they were pinning for the other but they knew from the start they could never be together. They just wanted to keep their friendship at least. But now they can't be near them without the other flinching or looking anywhere else.

The friends get mad, thinking the other is in denial again, people get slapped by the victim of this ordeal, and they find out that the victim is either in love with someone else that isn't part of the friend group or wasn't in love with anyone at all.

The friends are split. Some horrified at what they'd done, some are assholes and refuse to believe they are wrong.

Victim A, the one who did have a crush on Victim B, helps keep them distracted so Victim B can distance themself and get help for the trauma.

Victim B recognizes that Victim A had nothing to do with what happened and still wants to be friends but needs space to work through their trauma.

The asshole friends become antagonists to the story while the victims are trying to get help for the trauma and the good friends (those outside of the group that caused it) are PROTECTIVE AF
