Back in the late spring of 2020, shortly after THE PLAGUE shut everything down, sshg_giftfest over on LiveJournal invited folks to prompt/write for one another, as a way to keep all our spirits up. I offered poetry, and mundungus42 requested a series of clerihews. A clerihew, as Wikipedia will tell you, is a short comical biographical poem, consisting of two rhyming couplets which need not at all match in rhythm or meter. Which is nice, because it means you can cheat like mad :)

Verse I
General opinion of Lucius Malfoy
is that he is and was and always will be a bad boy.

Verse II
Roundly disliked, Severus Snape
Would occasionally hide in a drape --
When feelings are hurtin'
Nothing beats a curtain.
Verse III
Mad, foolish Bellatrix!
Her battles she picks
With great folly.

Villainous Greyback,
I hope you get payback
For killing poor silly Lavender Brown who turned out to be quite brave after all and died in battle
So we forgive her her nauseating "Won Won" prattle.
