Because I love you pt. 2

The next three days saw Harry and Severus falling into a routine. They'd both wake up early, shower and get dressed. Then Harry would come into Severus's room and help the potion's master stretch out in the balcony. Afterward they would go down to have breakfast in the garden and Harry would use the time to add more details for Severus about the war and current progress on the clean up. Once breakfast was done, Harry would leave to go to the ministry or wherever he was needed at the time. Severus would keep himself busy by reading or walking around. On the second day of the routine, Severus went for a long walk outside the house. He was trying to confirm a suspicion he had. The man walked for ten minutes along the path before he was forcibly stopped. Severus was right, Harry had placed a very powerful barrier around the area. Severus couldn't leave and people certainly couldn't get in.

This added to the potion master's anxiety, which had increased after he found out his wand was snapped. At least that's what Harry had told him, when he'd asked about it. The teen even acted guiltily and said that, "the wand was snapped before the trial." Severus didn't believe that for a second, he had a sneaking suspicion that Harry was keeping his wand away. Especially when he asked for a replacement and the teen shut down the idea immediately. "Severus you're still recovering, please concentrate on that. You're safe here and I promise once you're all better we can get you a new one," Harry had said. The potion's master didn't push it, afraid of Harry's reaction. The teen had been very careful even with his ownwand. He used Wandless magic, which apparently came easily to him, instead of a wand. Severus knew that Harry was hiding the wand out of fear of Severus getting his hands on it.

The teen was terrifyingly more clever than expected. Severus had to wait a little longer before he tried to broach the subject of retaliating against Harry. He needed his full strength if he wanted to stand a chance against the powerful wizard that Potter had become. Not to mention, Kreacher was another obstacle that the potion's master had to account for. The elf was loyal to a fault and would restrain Severus at the first sign of struggle against his master. Severus's only hope was patience and the hope of his friends, Minerva and others, seeking an audience with him. Although, that was unlikely to happen either, if Harry never mentioned Severus's recovery to them. The teen could easily lie and say that Severus was still in a coma.

Anyway, it was Severus's fourth day conscious and his body felt better than ever. He still got up to stretch but thankfully Harry hadn't bothered coming to his room this morning. Harry's hands on Severus's body were another complicated issue for the potion's master. For some reason, Severus's treacherous body anticipated Harry's caresses and responded eagerly to them. The potion's master wasn't a stranger to arousal and as any man would, he woke up with an erection sometimes and had the occasional wet dream. However, his dreams were usually muddy and unspecific but ever since Potter had began to touch him, the dreams had employed a certain new star. Severus groaned as his treacherous member twitched at the thought of Harry's hands on his thighs, kneading and caressing.

When he finished his exercises, he went downstairs and into the kitchen, only to be greeted by Harry cooking at the stove. The teen turned at the sound of footsteps and grinned at the sight of Severus, who wore a white button up and dark blue, cotton trousers. "Good morning Severus, I hope you don't mind me cooking. Kreacher is busy with something else today," said Harry. There was a mischievous glint in those eyes and Severus fought back the shiver climbing his spine.

"Good morning Harry. Not at all, I don't mind," he replied and sat down on the table. "What's Kreacher doing?" He asked curiously. Harry' smile widened as he scooped some scrambled eggs onto Severus's plate along with some bacon.

"It's a surprise," replied the teen. He finished serving the food and sat down opposite Severus. The two ate in silence as there wasn't much left for them to discuss. Severus knew all the details he'd missed in the war and was up to date with the post-war progress, with the help of the Daily Prophet, that was delivered every morning by owl. Severus had tried to find Harry's personal owl, to maybe try and send a letter secretly. However, the owl seemed to be away most of the time and only came when Harry wanted to send a letter. Severus hadn't opened up the discussion of sending a letter to Minerva for his job or anything else.

By the time the two finished breakfast, Severus was fidgeting nervously. He wanted to broach the subject but felt nervous regarding Harry's possible reaction. "Severus, is everything okay?" The teen asked as he noticed his love's fumbling and glances.

"I-I..," Severus winced at his pathetic tone. Since when was he so afraid and nervous around Potter? To add insult to injury, the teen stared worryingly at him and approached his side. Harry kneeled down beside Severus and placed a hand on the man's cheek. The older instinctively leaned into the warm, large palm. He'd been so touch-starved that his treacherous body was accepting and relishing in his capture's touch.

"Please, tell me what's wrong Severus. I'm here to ensure your needs are met," Harry whispered in a husky tone. Severus fought back a whine. He couldn't lie to himself. A large part of him appreciated Harry's treatment of him. It wanted nothing more than to hide in the teen's chest and allow him to handle everything for Severus. The larger, more logical part however, was begging Severus to find a way out, to escape and run for the hills. The potion's master wasn't sure which part he wanted to obey more. On the one hand, he was far too tired from everything and Harry wasn't hurting him but providing for him. On the other hand, he'd wished for freedom from his master for years. He wanted to explore the world and wasn't sure how Harry would handle it.

"H-Harry, I-I would like to send a letter to Minerva regarding my employment," the potion's master cursed himself for the stuttering and trailing off at the end of the sentence. The man gazed into the bright green eyes and waited for the backlash but nothing happened. Harry simply blinked before smiling softly and reaching down to grab Severus's palms. The teen lifted them up and placed two kisses to the back of them. Severus's breath hitched and he bit his lower lips to keep himself composed.

"Severus, I understand how worried you are about your job but you shouldn't be. Will you wait after my surprise before you contact Minerva? I'm sure she'd like to hear from you regardless," the teen whispered and his face leaned in close to Severus's, making the man blush and fidget. Severus wasn't sure whether to trust Harry or not. The teen wasn't objecting to him sending a letter but something about the wording seemed off. Did the teen get him resigned from his post at Hogwarts or was Harry willing to let him go to work there? Severus felt uncomfortable but he had to be patient and wait until after the surprise. The surprise in and of itself was a little unnerving, however, Severus doubted it would do him any harm. No, Harry would never actually hurt him.

Harry apparently had nothing to do that day and spent the morning walking the grounds with Severus. Severus's hands were wrapped around Harry's arm as they walked. It was rather embarrassing but the teen had insisted on supporting Severus. The older man's face was flushed red at their mental image. Him acting as a clingy girlfriend and Harry the cool and collected boyfriend. Severus shivered at the thought of someone seeing them like this. The saviour and Dumbledore's killer. It was twisted to say the least but at the same time, Severus couldn't deny how desirable the position of Harry's lover would be for him. After all, how many people can claim the saviour of the Wizarding world loves them and provides for them?

Severus was a clever man and knew when to take the opportunity presented to him. Sure, it was nerve-racking to be Harry's hostage but the teen wasn't treating him badly. If Severus played the game right, he probably could get more love and care than anyone would hope for. Harry was attentive and eager to please him. The teen knew that he knew what their situation was. Severus could see the uncertainty and vigilance in the younger's eyes. Harry was prepared for when and if Severus retaliated or attempted to escape. Fortunately for Harry, Severus was beginning to rethink that decision. Perhaps being trapped a little won't harm him. Harry would probably allow him freedom if he proved that he wouldn't run or hide, that he'd allows return home to Harry.

As Severus's thoughts played, Harry watched the man careful and noticed the change in his gaze. Harry smiled internally, knowing that Severus was beginning to see things his way. Harry couldn't help but smile and wrap his enclosed arm around Severus's waist. The potion's master released the arm unconsciously from his grip, only to feel said arm wrap around his waist. The man blushed as Harry pulled him close and turned his body to be face to face. "H-Harry? Is everything okay?" Asked the older man as he came face to face with Harry, who was smiling fondly and lustfully at him. Severus gulped at the gaze and shivered as Harry reached his other hand to tuck a strand of raven hair behind Severus's ears. Severus blushed brighter at the action.

"You look beautiful. The these clothes really suit you," Harry whispered huskily. Severus shivered again at the tone and his body trembled as Harry roamed hungry eyes on his body. Severus was wearing a simple black shirt and black trousers. The shirt sleeves were folded to his elbows and the first two buttons were undone, displaying his pale neck and a bit of collarbone. "Severus," Harry spoke again and used his free hand to gently hold Severus's chin.

"Yes, Harry?" The man asked feeling his body respond eagerly to the heated, gentle touches.

"Master Harry, everything is ready!" Kreacher's voice disrupted the moment and the men jumped back a little at the surprise appearance. The elf sensed he'd interfered and bowed apologetically. "Kreacher apologises for the interruption but master Harry requested that Kreacher tell him when things be ready." Harry sighed and nodded. Severus gazed at both in confusion. What was ready? Was this the surprise Harry spoke of?

"Yes, thank you Kreacher," Harry responded. "Just give us a moment." The teen turned to Severus with another wide grin. This time, the grin caused Severus's stomach to flip in a good way and the potion's master felt himself melt under the gaze of those beautiful green eyes.

"What's ready Harry?" He asked curiously.

"Remember the surprise I told you about? Well, I've been preparing this since I got you home and now it's all ready for you," Harry replied. Severus grew more curious and excited by the minute. Harry was spoiling him, so what could he possibility be getting him now? And what the hell is this surprise that took so long to prepare?

"Okay, you got my attention, Harry. What is it?" Severus asked eagerly with a small smile of his own. The blush had yet to leave his face and Harry reached out to stroke a pink cheek. Severus instinctively leaned into the touch and Harry grinned.

"Let's go Kreacher," Harry whispered. The elf reached out both hands and Severus was even more shocked. Kreacher was appirating them. The two wizards held onto the small hands of the elf and felt he familiar sensation of appirition. When they finally stopped twirling the three found themselves in a shop. Severus looked around and immediately recognised the place. It was the apothecary in Diagon Alley. Why were they here? The potion's master stared around curiously. The shop seemed to be closed.

"Harry?" Severus called out as he turned to gaze questioningly at the teen. Harry beamed at him.

"What do you think?" Asked the teen. Severus furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"Isn't this the apothecary in Diagon Alley?" Harry nodded. "Then, what do you mean what do I think?"

"Severus, I bought the apothecary for you. I hoped to repay you for all you've done so I bought the place for you to run as you please. I will be your benefactor. You can get any type of ingredient you wish for and I shall provide," Harry said proudly. Severus inhaled sharply then in the next second he fainted.

When Severus woke up, he found himself laying on a strong surface with strong things wrapped around him. It took a second for Severus to realise that he was lying on Harry’s chest, being held by the teen. The potion’s master fought back the urge to snuggle into the strong chest and instead tried to pull away. “Oh, you’re awake. I was growing worried. Kreacher nearly lost it when you fainted.” Harry’s voice was deep but unconcerned. “I wasn’t expecting your reaction.” Severus pulled away enough to stare into the green eyes.

“You bought me a business Harry. What were you thinking? Is that why you asked me not to send the letter to Minerva until after the surprise?” The potion’s master asked feeling unsure of how to react. He couldn’t believe how far Harry was willing to go to woo him.

“I told you, I was trying to repay you and besides the business isn’t just your own. As your benefactor I’ll get 10% of the income. And yes, that’s why I asked you to postpone your letter to Minerva,” Harry explained calmly. Severus inhaled sharply again and finally sagged into the strong chest and hid his face into the younger’s neck. Harry was caught off guard but quickly recovered and tightened his grip around Severus and leaned down to inhale into the raven locks.

“What’re you doing to me? Why are you doing this,” the words were barely above a whisper but Harry understood them. He leaned his head back to place a soft kiss on the pale forehead. Severus shuddered at the action and lifted his head to make eye contact again.

“You already know that I’m enamoured by you Severus. Let me be the one for you. Let me provide for you and care for you. I assure you, there isn’t anyone in the world who’ll love you like I do,” Harry whispered confidently. Severus blushed and pulled away again from the embrace. The teen released him, waiting for the reply.

“Harry, I truly appreciate it but I must implore you to stop,” Severus whispered desperately. These weren’t his true feelings but the right things to do. Harry didn’t seem to think so as his gaze hardened and his body tensed up. “Harry, you’re twenty years my junior and I have been awful to you and your friends. I have loved your mother deeply and hated your father as much,” the older explained. Harry listened intently but wasn’t deterred by the statements. He knew this already and was prepared for it. If Severus truly rejected him, then he’ll just have to take him home and convince him. Severus didn’t need anyone other than Harry and Harry certainly didn’t need anyone other than Severus.

Hermione and the Weasleys were fantastic, so were the DA members. However, everyone just saw Harry as the saviour or their friend. They didn’t seem him as Harry anymore. The teen was growing tired of the admiring gazes and sugar coated words. He wanted something real, something challenging. Something to fill him with excitement and fear. Love. He wanted love. Specifically Severus’s love. The man had always challenged Harry and never sugar coated things. He saw Harry as a person with flaws and mistakes. Yet, he admired Harry’s courage and loyalty, otherwise he wouldn’t have stuck around or treated Harry well, after waking up from the coma. Severus was the person for Harry.

“I see you’re not willing to listen,” the potion’s master’s voice disrupted Harry’s thoughts. The teen gazed at him defiantly and leaned close, so their lips were centimetres apart. Severus bit his bottom lip and his dark orbs travelled down to Harry plump lips.

“It isn’t that I’m not willing to listen. You’re simply stating things I’m already aware of. So, they have no affect on me,” whispered Harry.

“Is there truly no way I can change your mind?” Severus whispered a he leaned even closer, shifting on Harry’s lap. The teen’s gaze grew even more lustful and he placed his hands on the older’s waist.

“No, there isn’t. No matter where you’ll go, I’ll chase you. No matter where you hide I’ll find you. You’re mine and I’m yours, that’s how it is,” Harry whispered. Severus reached his arms to wrap around the younger’s neck and closed his eyes. He surrendered himself to the situation, knowing that Harry wasn’t lying and would do all these things. Why delay the inevitable and why resist the temptation of a life with a powerful man like Harry? Severus had always had a weakness for power, especially when it was aimed to please him. Harry watched as the eyes of his love closed and the body prepared. The teen inhaled and exhaled before closing the gap and his eyes.

The kiss was electrifying to say the least. Harry’s lips moved slowly at first, then they gained momentum and Severus could barely catch his breath as the lips devoured his. The older whimpered into the kiss and his body trembled. Harry opened his eyes slightly revealing lustful dark greens. The teen began roaming his hands on Severus’s body. Then he reached down and squeezed the thin globes of his ass causing Severus to gasp and pull away. “H-Harry, I’m not ready,” he squeaked.

“Very well, Severus. I only care that you allow me to court you,” Harry whispered and placed a gentle kiss to Severus’s jaw before biting down and nibbling on the pale felt. Severus gasped as Harry left a mark on him. The potion’s master knew if he did this, there would be no turning back but he also felt enamoured by Harry and wanted to see it through.
