Kiss Me Goodbye
Have you ever felt so powerless in your entire life?
You would think after dealing with being verbally, physically abused, and neglected one would be prepared for everything and anything life has to throw at you.
For a moment, that's how Aurora felt growing up.
Numbed to the point that pain was nothing to her.
But it all changed when Olivia came into the picture.
How desperate Aurora felt for the first time to want to be free.
To crawl out of the darkest tunnel and into the light.
Oh, how beautiful for her body to feel the taste of freedom.
How happy and joyful everything came to be.
But life is becoming cruel again.
Its sinister smile is trying to rip away the only happiness she has left.
The person who gave it to her.
"Quickly we are running out of time!!!"
"We need to restart her heartbeat!!"
"Bring the Defibrillator!"
Trinity pulled Aurora's small body close to her so that she would not be slammed against the wall. They moved out of the room to the hallway of the hospital allowing more space for the doctor and nurses to move freely.
Both continue to watch helplessly as they pull in a medical machine that was requested quickly in the room.
Once it was safe to get closer to the room without bumping into anyone they approached the door still remaining out of the room.
Countless people were surrounding her godmother's body.
She remained on the hospital bed motionless, pale to the point you could see her veins, light black circles underneath her eyes, and even her hair was slowly losing its dark color.
Aurora whimpered.
Umbra whimpered alongside her as she purrs louder rubbing her cheeks on Aurora's wet ones. In hopes that it will ease or take away the pain, Aurora is feeling.
Slowly it did.
But still, it wasn't enough.
They watch as two patches from the machine are put on Olivia's chest. A nurse presses a button once the doctor gives a signal. The motionless chest moves upwards due to the electric shock sent but it drops again.
No heartbeat.
The constant ringing of the flat line was all Aurora could hear.
All she could listen to.
As the world around her faded away.
Her soul felt out of place as if it was leaving the body.
The glimmer of shiny gold that her eyes were starting to portray became dull and empty.
The lack of the soul-mate bond made the inner agony worse.
Her body's temperature dropped.
She can feel her legs suddenly give up on her.
But yet she remained levitating as if someone was holding her.
A hot burning pain covered her form.
Hot and cold battles against each other.
The sharpness of the heating pain came from her head.
Then once it felt as if she was going to suffocate from it all, a poke of the needle she felt on her arm. A spread overcame her body finally in sweet relief and she closed her eyes reluctantly as the medicine put inside her forced her to sleep.

Shaking breaths Trinity let out slowly as she carefully held the young child close to her chest. She watches to make sure that Aurora's eyes close and wipes away the sweat that was forming on her forehead.
Umbra meowed in distress seeing that her owner was no longer awake.
But once Umbra placed her ear to Aurora's chest, hearing the calm heartbeat instead of the rapid she slowly settled down.
"Doctor, what did you give her?"
"Soul-mate numbing cure." He responds as he hands the injection to a nearby nurse.
"Soul-mate?"
"Yes. It would appear that she is one of the rare few that has the soul-mate bond. Although, I do not know who, when or how she managed to conceal it at her age. Do you know by any chance?"
Trinity's mind blanked out. 'I didn't even know about the bond. Olivia never tells me certain things, especially stuff that can get her killed.'
"No. I am sorry, I was not aware of the bond."
The doctor sighs disappointed, "Alright then. Well, the young one is fine just that her body went into shock with everything that has happened activating the bond."
He then begins to walk away, "Guess I will have to ask that friend of yours when she wakes up."
Trinity's heart skipped a beat.
Eyes widen filled with hope.
"She - she is alive?"
The doctor stops walking and turns to glance at her. With a soft smile, he responded, "Yeah she managed to pull through." He then nods at the door, "You can see her if you won't just wait patiently for her to wake up." He then turns around and heads back deeper into the hallways disappearing from the corner.
Trinity's heart slowly beats again as she makes her way to the open door still carrying the sleeping child and lynx in her arms.
There on the bed, Olivia's body still remained.
Though now her chest moved gently with the beeping noise from the heart monitor standing next to the bed as proof that she is still here with them.
'She is alive.'
A sense of relief came over us all the tension of fear, stress, and sadness was finally stripped away from her piece by piece.
She walks gently to the bed placing Aurora on Olivia's left side.
Trinity then turns to search through the small closet in the room, pulling out the spare blanket and unraveling it so that she may cover Aurora's form.
Umbra crawls out of her spot making her way to a small spot perfect for her. Curling herself up between Aurora and Olivia she then joined them both in the beauty of sleep.
Trinity admires how peaceful all three of them looked together as she made her way to sit on the cushion sofa that was positioned in the corner of the room. Sighing as she waits patiently for either of them to wake up or for someone else to walk into the room.
Thankfully she didn't have to wait long enough because a familiar face walked inside the room in a rush. Looking to the door, her eyes widen as she whispers shocked, "Albus?"
Albus looks at her, his eyes went from worried to at ease. He composes himself as he approaches to sit on the spot next to her.
Emotional tension was between them.
Olivia plays with her dress as she strengthens herself to ask the one person she knows who can possibly answer the questions running in her head.
"How did you know she was here?"
A sigh came out from him.
Olivia's grip gets tightened as she repeated her question again.
"How did you know she was here?"
Silence.
And right when she didn't think he was going to answer.
"I think it's for the best if she tells you," Albus whispers speaking back to Trinity in French.
Trinity scoffs, rolling her eyes away.
"She will never tell me anything no matter how much help she needs."
Albus chuckles, "That's true. She can be extremely stubborn."
He then leans back to the sofa.
Both of them watch the small family in front of them.
"There is a spell I put on her."
Trinity's eyes focus on the side of Albus' face listening attentively.
"If something happened to her - something like seeing the vision, if it ever got worse the spell on her would inform me."
"Oooh. That makes sense."
"Was she ever like this - in the past, I mean?" Trinity asked.
"Are you asking when the incident occurred?" Sharp blue eyes side glanced at her.
She nods nervously.
"No. I haven't seen her get affected this way. During her time at Hogwarts, we had to heal her injury from both the inside and outside. But she always came back from it. Never allowed it to fully break her no matter how painful the incident was. Well despite the fact that she went on a drinking journey till Alastor found her. But you can't even blame her anyway?"
She leans forward, rubbing her hands on her arms.
"No. I can't blame her. Hell, I would have done the same thing if I was her."
A hand comforted her as it placed itself on her shoulder.
"Don't you worry about her Trinity. Olivia is strong and will pull through this alive."
She looks back at him with a single tear falling.
"I hope so..."

"Olivia...."
A soft voice calls out to her.
"Come on. Don't tell me you're still asleep you lazy bum."
A female teases her gently.
"Leave her be Marie. You know how she is, never been a morning person."
A male voice spoke.
Olivia can sense the small smirk on his lips.
She felt like she was floating on top of the water.
Pairs of hands touched her arm.
"It's alright my love. Open your eyes."
The male voice softly whispered.
Its gentle pull as the familiarity of the voices finally hit Olivia's realization.
Purple eyes flutter open, finally.
A dark field of starry sky surrounds them.
Olivia looked down seeing that she was indeed lying on a floor filled with water.
Hands touched both of her shoulders.
Quickly she glances at her sides to see where the hands lead.
Marie sat on her left side and Arthur was on her right side.
Tears swell in her eyes as she gasps shocked and frozen in place.
Marie smiles warmly as she wipes away the fallen tears.
"Here I was thinking you would be happ-"
Marie couldn't finish her sentence since Olivia launched herself at her.
"OMG, YOU ARE HERE!!"
"You really are!"
"This isn't a dream!"
A hard sob escaped from her as her body trembled.
Marie freezes listening to her speak and wraps her arms around Olivia's waist, pulling them closer to each other. She holds on to her long till the sobs quiet down to sniffles. Marie runs her fingers through Olivia's black silk hair. They pulled away from each other.
Olivia's cheeks and nose were red as she hoarsely choked out, "It's all my fault. It's my fault you're dead. It's my fault Arthur suffers from the veela bond. It's my fault Aurora grew up without a mother. If I had tried harder you would have been -"
"Olivia."
Maria says sharply. Her gold eyes were fierce and her jaw grew tense. She places her hand underneath her chin so that their eyes can meet.
"Listen to me carefully, Olivia. I never once blamed you for my death. It was not your fault -"
"BUT IT WAS !!" Olivia shouts in agony.
"If I had tried harder if I was faster maybe you would have lived -"
"LISTEN TO ME!!"
Olivia shut herself up. Her lips tremble as she listens to Marie's next words.
"You didn't purposely cause my death. You went to rescue me!! You went to save me! Which was more than enough for me! Yes, I died, but it was never by your hands. Do you know what I mouthed out to you before the killing curse touched me?"
Olivia nods shakily.
"What was it I said?" Marie's voice is now smooth, no longer fierce as before. She wiped away the tears and smoothed out the fallen hair covering her face.
Olivia swallowed trying to compose herself before speaking the words that haunted her in her sleep.
"I love you."
Marie hums.
"I love you." She caresses Olivia's soft cheeks and whispers adorably, "I love you even in death."
Olivia's heart skips a beat and she blushes when she realizes how close in contact their bodies are now. Especially since she is sitting on Marie's lap both of her legs placed on the sides of Marie's waist. Olivia's hand is placed on Marie's chest while the other is on her cheek. Marie leans into her touch and pulls Olivia towards her.
Olivia follows her lead willingly.
Once their lips touch all hell broke loose for them. A deep surge of hunger filled with love and lust overcame their senses.
'God how much I miss this feeling.'
They both thought together. Though as magnificent as this moment was for them it was interrupted with a loud cough. Both of them pulled away blushing furiously.
Arthur has a wide smirk with a wicked gleam in his eyes now that he had his lovers' attention.
"As beautiful intrigue it is to watch this sexual pleasure between you too. It appears it's time for Olivia to head back to the mortal world."
Olivia's heart sunk as the years of despair hit her stronger than ever before.
"But I don't want to! I want to stay here with you guys."
"We know, my celest. But it is not your time yet -" Marie tries to ease her.
"Time?"
"Everyone has a time set for when death will come and take them. You still have a few more years to live before you may join us."
Olivia stays quiet knowing that what Marie has told her is true.
"A few years will feel like a torment of eternity without you both."
"We know and we are sorry that you have to go through this."
Both Marie and Arthur approached Olivia pulling her into a group hug one that Olivia embraces easily. But the thought of confusion comes to her mind.
"Arthur?"
"Yes?"
"I can understand why Marie's here...but why are you here? Shouldn't you be in the mansion?"
Silence.
A sense of unease came to her.
Olivia pulls away to look at him.
"I -"
"....."
"I am not alive anymore, Olivia."
She gasps as tears clouded her vision.
"The mark was too much and its poison spread too far as it's written in the record books. I ended my life in the Ballroom of the mansion the day you came to take Aurora to school."
"Did you suffer?"
Arthur shook his head.
"My death came swift."
A sense of vibration was felt on the floor beneath them. The water moved from its still form.
"It's time", Marie whispered.
Olivia shook her head desperately pleading, "No please I can't do this! I am not strong enough to keep going!"
Marie and Arthur held her hands as they spoke to her.
"Out of the three of us, you are the strongest. You can make it through this not only for yourself but for Aurora. She still needs you to be with her."
Olivia's body trembles and she sobs as they pull her yet again into their tight warm embrace.
"We love you so much, Olivia. Never forget that."
She nods her head, responding tearfully, "I love you both and always will."
Arthur and Marie kiss Olivia's forehead.
Olivia pulls away and kisses them both deeply savoring one last kiss before departing away from them.
The floor beneath them shakes harder.
Olivia's body begins to fade away in white sparkingly mist.
They wave to her, giving her a smile of encouragement.
"We will be here waiting for you when your time comes! Look after her for us!"
Olivia gives them the last warming smile and a nod to Marie's last words before closing her eyes and fading away completely.

Darkness was all she saw.
A sense of nothing she felt.
Until a shock and voices speaking out to her.
She chased down the voice's location.
But she couldn't open her eyes at first because of how weak she felt.
Although now rested, she finally gains control of her body.
Moving her toes first and then her fingers moving on from there.
Slowly but surely she regained the ability to move her body.
Now was the final test.
She focuses on the muscles on her face and once she felt prepared to face the world.
She opened her eyes.
