A Kiss Of Freedom
The day begins just as it did the day before. Olivia arrives in a red dress with a long black coat and comes to wake up Aurora from the beauty of sleeping while also interrupting the sleeping Umbra that was using the pillow next to her as a bed.
Aurora gets up to shower but this time as she exits the bathroom there laid out perfectly on the bed for her was the school uniform they went out to get. A navy blue luggage with golden details of the winged horse on the center of it all was placed on the foot of the bed.
"Now it's time to get you all set up, my love."
The clothing was made of cotton giving it a soft feeling on her skin. The skirt hugged her figure perfectly and when she spins the bottom ruffs sway with her causing her to giggle. Umbra purred as she walked in-between Aurora's legs as if she was giving positive feedback on how she looked.
"Now my cygnet the final touch."
Aurora lows her head down, closing her eyes as she feels Olivia place the blue hat on her head. Olivia steps away, allowing Aurora to see her re-birth in the mirror.
Her white hair was braided from her side that met in the middle with a twist forming a small bun and leading down at the top of her waist. Small strands of hair were on the side of her face.
Aurora gasps softly.
How different she looks now in comparison to all those years. She was starting to look more alive. More herself. Behind her, Olivia smiled brightly wiping away her own tears.
"You have grown beautifully, Aurora."
She places her hands gently on Aurora's shoulders. They make eye contact in the mirror.
"Whenever you are ready we may go."
Olivia then pulls away, grabs Aurora's luggage, and exits the room. Umbra purrs as she rubs herself on Aurora's leg.
Aurora sniffs and smiles reassuringly, "It's alright Umbra. I will be fine alone."
Umbra meows feeling that Aurora is not lying to her and disappears into a blue mist leaving her owner alone.
Aurora exhales shakily, giving herself one last look over in the mirror, nodding to herself in confidence. Heading to the door of her room she gives the place one last look before leaving. She wanders for a bit inside the mansion. Enters the large ballroom. Remembers how she first met Olivia, and how much she has changed her life.
Aurora steps back, her footsteps echoing loudly.
This mansion was huge. Holds so much gold and exquisite beauty inside. But it felt so empty all the same. As if the possibility of happiness and joy was not granted to this home. To this family. It was then that Aurora saw the true form of the Belmont's home as a whole. A dark pit of sadness, a coffin for a lonely soul who is seeking freedom from its own demons. The gold objects appeared to be dusty and the place looked more abandoned.
Aurora continues to step away, now turning her back to the mansion.
'No. I won't let this mansion be my grave either. Not when there is still so much I want to do.'
She makes her way to the main entrance the doors opened by themselves. On the other side was the true reality of life not hidden away and shown in its full form. The breath of life Aurora had always dreamed of was now in her grasp. Taking one step out of the mansion a large chain, a weight of the burden, that was tied to her disappeared.
At last, she is free.
How sad...
She didn't realize her father was in the room with her standing in the middle of the upper stairs where they meet down to the bottom floor. His hand trembled as he used what felt like the last remaining magic in him to open the doors. He observes as the wind sways Aurora's hair and sees how lively she looks.
A smile was on his lips.
'Fly little dragon, as high as the clouds can take you. See the world beyond.'
The door shuts, returning the mansion to its dark gloomy self.
Arthur's legs give up on him and he falls down to the marble floor onto his knees. No one else was in the mansion. The elves of his, he set them free. He had a feeling Aurora wasn't going to want to stay in the mansion.
There were no longer any tears for him to shed.
The mark began to burn again but this time...it was not going to stop burning.
Its black veins have spread halfway on his chest.
His wand is useless at this point.
For it won't grant him the relief he so desperately has been longing for during his search for Olivia.
He pulls out a dagger from his back pocket.
The dagger is fully designed with a golden web and black dots. It was a gift from his father, something that has been passed down for generations. He pulled the protector off revealing the silver blade that glistened in the sun's light.
He points the tip of the blade towards his heart.
He inhales.
Thump..............thump.............thump.....
Exhale.
Thump..............thump............thump......
Savor the last final moments.
He closes his eyes seeing Marie's spirit lovingly smiling at him.
He smiled in return, it was enough for him to raise the dagger and stab himself deep into his chest.
He couldn't feel the pain of the blade, because the mark was already hurting him more.
The warmth from the blood he did manage to feel. Blood that was pooling underneath him rapidly made its way down the stairs of the ballroom like a stream.
Thump..........................thump
Arthur closes his eyes tiredly and smiles in relief.
The stressing tension on his body eases away.
The chain on him was slowly lifting.
The mark didn't feel heavy anymore.
Darkness approached him and Arthur welcomed it with open arms.

The next piece of the puzzle is now in place.
The old dragon lives no more.
Now we must wait for this new dragon to grow.
For fate is not done with her.
As for the young snake.
A test of self he will be placed.
Let's see the results of this long prophecy, shall we...
