Chapter 2

Haresa stretched her back after gardening for more than three hours straight. Her aunt must have hired someone else to take care of her plants, because otherwise she did not understand why they were still alive

Her aunt was proud to have such a beautiful garden, but she, that woman, was capable of killing any plant. Before Haresa could work in the garden without looking strange, her aunt hired a landscaping and gardening company.

Haresa really didn't care. She liked to move her body and leave the house on a task during which Dudley couldn't beat her. She stood watching as she dropped water from a pot and was distracted before realizing and reacting again

A teacher in elementary school gave her an intelligence test and said that when she was distracted, it was simply her brain running faster than her body. Then the teacher had sat her down to ask her why she was doing so badly in class, Haresa just scratched her arm with a bruise and told the teacher that she couldn't do better than Dudley because she was a guest at her house and the guests couldn't be better than residents

The teacher had been furious and had gone to talk to the Dursleys thinking that the problem was only with Dudley. Half an hour of meeting later Haresa's report cards were rigged, the ones sent to the Dursleys' house, and Haresa was able to show her full potential.

By the seventh year of her life she graduated from elementary school, by the ninth she had passed high school, all without the Dursleys knowing. One of Dudley's friends said that she used different books at school, but the teacher told them they were easier books to help her learn better. She was getting ready to go to college ahead of time when the letters started to arrive.

Then came Hogwarts. And Hogwarts was different in all that she knew. And she was like a fish in water again, they just didn't want her to be a fish in water. This time there were no well-meaning teachers helping

They wanted the savior to be stupid, reckless, manipulable, and to always turn to the friends they had chosen for her when it came to trouble. Haresa smiled at this after seeing the transformation teacher give them different information than what was explained in the textbooks. She had been playing the cheating game her whole life, she had been a fool her whole life

She would play with them. Go more than six steps ahead but let them think that she was three behind. Never play the lying game with a liar.

She knew Quirrel was the problem from the second week of class. The man would forget to stutter if he got lost and that damn turban moved a little from time to time. She learned about the basilisk two weeks after what happened to Mrs. Norris, because it was the symbol of Slytherin, she as a parsel speaker could hear the snake and it moved inside the walls

But she was the ignorant puppet, so she followed the plan. Laughing at them with every step, she could have beaten the chess game sixteen moves less than Ron, she could have beaten Fluffy since she read a book on magical creatures ... But she didn't. Maybe the only time she showed her genius was by killing the basilisk, but she knew that she couldn't escape without injury so she stabbed her arm and let the phoenix cry over her.

She kept three fangs just in case

She learned runes with the twins and arithmancy, in fact, she had chosen those subjects. But her book list didn't have them, she only had Creature Care and Divination. She had heard rumors about Trelawney and she did not want to go to a classroom where the woman burned marijuana in her incense and sipped sherry from her teacup.

However, she had to think it was a legitimate mistake. Go to Hogwarts to complain instead of writing an owl and have her complaints rejected for a simple mistake that could no longer be changed. Prepare to take the OWL and NEWT from her by correspondence with the French government thanks to her second owl.

She was a common brown who had bought from a clearly desperate guy in Knockturn. She left it open to her and sent Hedwig to fetch her when she needed to send a letter. The French Ministry of Magic hated Albus Dumbledore very much and had let her make her OWL of hers by correspondence.

While Albus Dumbledore had many friends, he had even more enemies. Many people who saw beyond his grandfather's facade. Basically everyone Dumbledore hadn't seen as useful

Ravenclaw? Yes very good. Hufflepuff? House forgotten by all. Slytherin? He can't take points away from them for existing, as much as he would like to. Gryffindor? Take all my affection, easy-to-handle puppies!

Pathetic. It was also pathetic how the wizarding world had bent to the will of the senile old man who advocated sending a girl to war instead of training ADULT soldiers.

Well, if old glory could network, why couldn't she?

The sorting hat was right, she was a snake. But she belonged to the den of lions because she must devour them, instead of fighting for supremacy in the nest of snakes.

Haresa saw Dudley leave and began to deal with the daffodils more strongly, they were Petunia's favorites and she would hate if they spoiled. It was the one thing even Dudley couldn't screw up without being scolded.

-Working, monster?

-Practicing for herbology, Muggle-eating plants don't grow by themselves. -Dudley would exaggerate anything she said, even if she didn't speak. So Haresa had to take advantage of those little guilty pleasures.

-Those things aren't real-Dudley looked pale

-My mother's books are in the basement. Search for "Herbology for Beginners." They are on page 459.- It was true, but Haresa only knew it because they came with a warning. She, too, enjoyed making Dudley suffer with real events that he verified before going to cry to her mother.

Haresa always said that he had asked and she was not lying because Dudley was so stupid to admit that she had.

Haresa heard a car approaching, not the kind of car you saw in the neighborhood. It was a high-end sports car, Italian if she was feeling adventurous. In recent years, she knew more about racing brooms than sports cars. One thing that Haresa had always known was that she really liked speed, running, cycling, trains, cars, brooms, ...

And that car was a delight to the eyes

Dudley whistled, forgetting his previous fear and took his phone out to take pictures before the car passed by. Haresa could feel for a few seconds the driver's eyes on her

-----------------------------

Haresa pulled out a jar from under her window and carefully opened it. She pulled out a leaf and popped it into her mouth before starting to chew on it. Of course she had been punished for a mud stain on the carpet, nothing to do with Dudley's trail of footprints. She had to clean while they had dinner

An example of how she had adapted to survive was that she had those little leaves that she picked fresh every three days. She had told her aunt it was because of the smell and she had accepted it with a grunt and saying that she did not want the house to stink. The truth was that those leaves were slightly poisonous, but the poison from it took away the feeling of hunger. A trick learned the hard way to survive.

She wouldn't take a bite of the Love Potion-filled food that Molly Weasley sent. The woman must have already known that using amortentia was dangerous, especially because for Haresa she smelled like snow, mashed potatoes with cheese and fresh flowers, in addition to aftershave cream.

Totally different from a cream pie
