Chapter 3

Haresa put on Dudley's old sweatshirt and left the house without saying a word. She really would have to say something, but she doubted the Dursleys would notice her absence right now. They were getting ready to go buy Dudley new clothes, to find the size of her cousin they had to go to a store two hours away by train. Haresa wondered how long it would take Petunia to realize that the weight of her son was very dangerous for said son's health.

That was good for Haresa's plan.

Haresa was in the middle of her operation to get rid of Uncle Vernon. Next year she would do something with Dudley but this year it was Vernon. Haresa had him caught by the balls and the man didn't even know it

Because he didn't know that she was the owner of Gruggings

-------------------------------------

Happened in her second year, Haresa went to Gringotts with the Weasleys. But Molly spoke above her all the time. They didn't leave her alone to have a conversation with the goblins, so Haresa had to improvise

At the exit she purposely collided with the goblin who was carrying some glasses on a tray and the glasses broke with a crash inside the bench.

The goblins took her to an office to wait for the owner of the glasses and took her away from the Weasleys. There she met with her account manager who asked why she had not responded to the bank's letters, and Haresa replied that she had never received any bank's letter.

The goblin had gotten angry and Haresa had told him about the brown that she had quickly bought while she was in Knockturn. The goblins told her that they would educate the bird and protect it so that it would not be intercepted with magician magic, only goblin magic. Then the witch to whom the cups belonged arrived and gave Haresa fifty galleons

-For destroying those horrible things that my mother-in-law gave me.

After that she went out to the lobby and apologized saying that she had settled the matter with the owner of the glasses. The truth was that the glasses were horrible, they looked like the tail of a scorpion and supposedly you drink from the agijon.

Shopping continued without further incident after that.

-----------------------------------

After that the brown owl secretly brought her Gringots reports. Among them was a list of companies that she owned, including Vernon Dursley's company. Once her uncle had said that he had gotten her job after attending the wedding of Haresa's parents and after losing contact with them, the good luck for scape from that crazy people.

The truth was that Haresa's father, upon seeing the unemployed man, had bought a company and had obtained a well-paid job for his brother-in-law. Good intentions that her uncle had not had towards that man's daughter when she was orphaned.

He shouldn't blame Haresa for being cruel

Haresa had gotten her dear uncle another job. A transfer to another company that was part of the group to which her uncle's current company belonged. And for him to bite the carrot she had added twenty thousand pounds to her uncle's salary with the move, so the man was eager to sign

So much so that he hadn't read the contract. Like a fool

Yes, she would pay him more money. But her uncle had to move to an offshore oil rig for nine months a year, only returning from November to January to Surrey. And the contract had a term of only five years, if it was not renewed Vernon would end up without a job.

Five years, the time it would take for her to be of legal age and no longer owe them anything. And in total, what Vernon would earn was the same amount that was used to raise a child from birth to adulthood. A cruel wink from the girl

The new Dursleys' car passed her and Haresa kept walking until she reached a small restaurant. This place had saved her life in winter years ago when she could barely eat. She would peel potatoes or prepare ingredients and they let her eat something the customers didn't want

Now that she was older she knew that the food had been prepared for her. Upon learning that she was a witch she had told them that she was receiving certain money from her parents' inheritance and that she could pay. She tried to go at least once a week

-It's a bit early, Haresa.- said the waitress with a smile

-Well, I'm hungry today- Haresa had been eating sandwiches for three days with a slice of cheese or ham. Just one slice. Because dear Aunt Petunia didn't want her to get fat and the boys didn't like her

-It's good that you put meat on those bones. Today's girls want to look like skeletons

Haresa sat at her usual table, in the back and hidden. Although she doubted that any of the Dursleys acquaintances would come to this restaurant, prevention was better than cure.

Haresa ordered mashed potatoes and tuna lasagna with spinach. She needed calories more than a balanced meal and those two things were so soft on her stomach that organ hadn't worked well for a while.

The trick was not to eat a lot at once, but to eat a lot of food slowly for a long time. Haresa was prepared to spend a good two hours in the restaurant before they needed her table.

Haresa always made sure to go in very little busy sections

Instead of bringing both dishes at once, they brought the puree first and Haresa ate it slowly. It was thick, tasted like milk, and had a hint of Parmesan cheese and thyme. It was definitely her favorite dish on her menu. She ate slowly, letting it settle well on her stomach.

When she finished they brought out the lasagna portion in no time. It was easily almost double a normal serving, but the lasagna was delicious. The top gratin and crispy, the slightly tough dough, the tuna with tomato and spinach.

So this was her favorite place in Surrey

Haresa touched her stomach when she finished eating and she sighed. She did not fit one more bite inside her little body. It was about time for her to go back to the Durlesy house to do the chores that they had undoubtedly left in the locked refrigerator.

A person sat in front of Haresa and she raised her eyes from her book so she could say something, probably passive aggressive. But she was silent for a few seconds before a hopeful word came out of her throat.

-Dad?
